Shoppers Drug Mart

Pharmacy gave multiple sets of instructions on how to take antibiotics and then didn’t even give the right number of pills. Best to count your medication if you’re dealing with these jokers.

I had multiple unpleasant experiences at this Shoppers. I relocated to Oliver and had all my prescriptions transferred. When I called to pick up a couple of prescriptions, they provided the wrong items. When I gave them the RX#, they claimed not to have received it from my previous pharmacy. After contacting the originating pharmacy, I learned that Shoppers had rejected the prescription due to a lack of refills, of which I was unaware. I then reached out to my doctor's office to request a fax escalation. Subsequently, I contacted Shoppers, and they stated that they had faxed my doctor. However, when I contacted my doctor's office again, they informed me that they hadn't received anything

Furthermore, when I visited the pharmacy in person to pick up my prescriptions, there was a line of people behind me, and the staff showed little discretion in discussing my medications and condition. I was concerned that people in the line and walking by could overhear what should have been a private conversation.

During another call to Shoppers for clarification, I was met with a rather aggressive response. Frustrated, I ended the call and proceeded to transfer all my prescriptions to PharmaSave.

Unfortunately the store doesn’t follow the hours displayed on signage. Closes at 8: 00 pm not the advertised 10: 00 pm

Surprised to read all of the unimpressed reviews on this pharmacy! I have been going here for quite a few years now, and they have always been very helpful! They have always been quick to let me know if I should expect a bit of a wait, or immediately called checking elsewhere to bring my RX in as quickly as possible! As a type one diabetic, these things can unfortunately be life/death for me in a very short time. Yesterday I had an "Oops", after a recent move, and alot going on.last night at about 7pm, my alarm sounded to apply a new insulin pod, I removed the expired one, and started connecting a fresh one.to realize the vial was empty (and I was away from the house) luckily I had a friend bring me home to get a new vial from my fridge.and realized I had run out without noticing.in a panic I called the pharmacy and explained my situation that it was URGENT I track down a vial to refill ASAP! The new owner Daniel (?) Quickly confirmed they had one in stock, made sure to let me know there was less than an hour before closing time to get there. I arrived around 7: 50pm, as soon as he saw me walk to the counter, he confirmed I was the girl who had called panicked.and handled everything with professional ease, and a friendly smile If not for his help, within hours I would have been stuck in emerge/kidney failure. Thank you SO MUCH for your patience and understanding of how serious a situation I put myself in!

I just visited beauty department today, what a great service by Ellen, I’ve got. She was so humble and nice. She really helped me in picking up some skin care products which I wasn’t sure about and pretty shade of lipsticks. She even put an extra effort to find me some samples to try for skin care. KEEP UP THE GOOD WORK, will definitely come back…

We have since moved to a different local pharmacy. Sharma was great but the rest of the pharmacy staff not so much. The last straw was when they could not provide a medication and told us that we would have to shop around and see if another pharmacy had any.

Wort customer service from a pharmacy I’ve ever had. Whoever the Asian employee was. Failed to call to tell me they don’t have my medication. Never cared to out source to other branches. Resumed to tell me that the other location can’t fill my prescription.
After leaving I called the same pharmacy they did. They said they’d process it right away. I don’t know who’s lying to who here but it seems like someone just doesn’t care and shouldn’t be in that field of work.

Shop here often and appreciate that its open late.however the last few weeks I noticed that the hours have changed and closing the doors before said time on your website.
