Poor customer service! The store manager is a bully and rude, as well as one of the female staff! Not friendly and very disrespectful towards customers! The worst Shoppers drug mart experience ever! Manager said she doesn't care if I complain to head office, and to leave the store, I asked her for her name and she replied "I'm not telling you, and that's too bad! " this angry manager needs retraining on customer service, she was also rude to a few other customers!

I went hoping to send off a letter that I thought I'd be too late for but.no the postal clerk came when I rang and helped me immediately. Very good service. Friendly.

I had my prescriptions transferred here when I moved to the island because of insurance requirements, which was fine - I used to use a Shopper’s in Calgary without issue. Service and communication used to be great here and I had continued using them even though my insurance no longer required it and K need to drive in from out of town to do so.
In the past 8 months or so however I have had multiple issues with incorrect or double billing to my insurance company, medications not being filled when requested, and have seen a downward trend of overall care from the staff.
I had an extremely unpleasant experience at the beginning of September where costs were miscommunicated to me (by over $600) and then when I asked about it at pick up I was shut down and told I was “wrong” when I was trying to seek clarification - I was being charged for a drug that had already been billed and paid to my insurance, and I am still trying to get reimbursement for it from the insurance company.
The staff member actually stopped helping me at one point and reached across my prescriptions and in front of me to assist the person in line behind me, even though I was still waiting to be checked out.
I tried giving them benefit of the doubt and the next day went back to speak to someone and requested a call from the pharmacy owner or manager, who I was told was on vacation but would call when he returned.
It’s been over 3 weeks and no one has attempted to make contact to hear my concerns so I have moved my business elsewhere.

Called today to get a refill and it was handled very professionally and quickly. I plan ahead for my meds and they do a great job. Thanks shoppers

The post office staff member was helpful and looked like they enjoyed their time even at work. The store was crazy…some customer was losing their mind something about their meds being refilled…kinda wild. Usually that’s going on in the parking lot.

Shoppers has always been my pharmacy, post office, reasonably priced groceries and junk food stop. Hate the fact they are only open til 8 pm. Time to get the "Open till 10 pm" sign on building

I recently moved here and I miss my old shoppers drug mart.the pharmacy staff here are so incompetent. I was due for a refill and called the store twice and was told that they never received a refill prescription. I ran out of my medications and had to email my doctor on a Sunday to call my medications in. Turns out my psychiatrist had actually left a voicemail for my medications but the staff NEVER checked. After my doctor confirmed calling my medications in, I called the pharmacy and said “can I give you my phone number or date of birth” and the pharmacy staff replied “and why would I need that”. They finally sorted things out and told me to wait an hour and half, I went in to pick up my meds finally only to be told that my government plan coverage had expired. WHY DIDN’T YOU TELL ME THIS BEFORE I WAITED, I COULD HAVE SORTED THAT OUT TOO! Never going back there again. Rude and incompetent staff. I truly miss my old shoppers family that I knew for years. This place is garbage.

Pharmacists (and by extension the businesses they work for) have a duty of care to not make patients more sick. So why do they sell perfumes which cause suffering to those allergic, who have no choice but to use the services (e.g. The Post Office and the actual pharmacy), and are forced by the deliberate design of the store layout to have to walk past the scented products?

Will be lobbying the Post Office to cancel the unhealthy contract with Shoppers.

I have been very satisfied with the service I've received from shoppers until my last visit. I requested a few words with the pharmacist, not the owner, and he was very rude and dismissive. I am seriously considering changing drug stores. People who are dealing with a medical problem don't need to be treated in such a demeaning way.

They were so helpful at dealing with a complicated online order I wanted to return. Lady behind the beauty counter was amazing and so was the manager:) definitely going to keep coming back to this one for all my purchases.

Rude staff. It was a few minutes BEFORE closing time when an employee came and rushed me to the till; I was still choosing some things, but left them behind. That's why I shop online most of the time.

Epic failure of service! Told to customers need to use self service as staff have other things to do. Not going to happen. I am at the till, cash in hand, serve me, or lose my business, forever.

Was in there mins to closing getting myself and my son cold medication when a very rude employee came up to me at not even a minute passed 8 “needing me to go to the till right now”. Can clearly see I’m in the children’s medication section. Just very tasteless and rude considering it wasn’t a minute past 8pm.

I had the best experience in the beauty boutique. ERIN O assisted me. I was blown away by her knowledge of available products. I felt confident that I was leaving the store having exactly what I was looking for and also being completely satisfied that I had paid a very fair price. It was such a pleasant experience. I never write reviews like this, but I just really wanted to give a shout out to Erin, an excellent sales representative. They should clone you.
