I realized at 9: 30pm today that I had forgotten to pick up a medication that I needed to take right away. When I looked at my email, it was sent by my doctor to the New West location by mistake. I called this location and asked if I could have it transferred there asap to pick it up before 10pm or first thing in the morning. The male pharmacist was able to call the New West location, have it transferred, and ready for pick up by 10pm. I got there 2 minutes to closing. The cashier almost didn't let me in until I said that the pharmacist was holding my prescription. She let me in, I was able to grab it from the pharmacist, and then pay at the counter with the cashier. I am so thankful to the both of them. I didn't get their names, but it was a tall, male, Indian pharmacist with short black hair, and a female Asian cashier with long, black hair in a ponytail that helped me on January 8th at 9: 58pm. They both deserve a raise. I will 100% come back here again.

Had such a bad customer service directly came up and aggressively told not to open an makeup product does it mean we can’t even look at the product, just when I said I’m not opening just looking at it she denied and just assumed and said no I saw you were trying to open it when we just were looking at it and treated with such disrespect.

I am gonna talk about phramacy staff.if you are not interested in helping people why are youe even standing there. Waited for 5-7 mins.didn’t get any response about just a quick question.so rude…

The customer service is really bad. An asian lady in mid 30s was too rude, she was acting like she doing a favour for just doing her job. Overall this was a bad experience. Based on recent reviews, shoppers management should take action on such rude staff.

I requested transfer my presctiption from another pharmacy to this one on 29 April, and I received an email that it was ready.
I decided to call, but nobody answered the phone after many attempts throughout the morning. I called customer service to ask why they didn't answer, and they said the guy was busy.
When I finally I was able to talk with the pharmacy person called Wu, he seemed not to understand what I was asking. He said he was alone checking all other faxes, overall confused, unhelpful, and terrible service.

I don't think this person knows what he's doing, or if he is capable, trained, or appropriate to perform that kind of job, someone able to respond to our questions.

The only affected here is us, the customer who really needs their prescriptions on time, Shoppers has constantly proved its a hassle to get something so important as prescriptions.

I will try to find any other pharmacy than Shoppers urgently because this one is just awful!

Komal Sharma helped me in finding my makeup products. Although she’s a new employee, can see, because she was asking from her colleagues, but really appreciate her efforts

In-store experience was excellent. The store is well organized, and the staff is accommodating. Jazz helped me very well with all the in-store offers. Services were better than other shoppers outlets.

I went to this location today to get some cosmetics. There were 3 girls (staff) standing at the cosmetic cash register talking to each other. When I entered, there was no hello, no welcome and no acknowledgement that someone even came in. I had a question about product and "interrupted" their conversation, I got this look from one of the girls as she was annoyed. Few other people walked in but no one asked if anyone needed help. I left my basket with stuff in it.would go to location with better service.

Girl in cosmetics need some customer service skills. Get a life girl, there is a difference between arguing and requesting. I’m sure you can do better.

I didnt like the way they treated me. Phramacist wasnt accurated enough to answer my questions and a lady working in the store was rude to answer my query…

My doctor sent them the prescription the day before I went to pick up.but they told it wasn't ready yet.are you kidding me? It's more than 30 hrs already.and it still hasn't been ready to pick up yet.and the pharmacist is very unprofessional

This Shoppers drug mart is selling expired products in the freezer. The product itself is expired since September 2022, and they are selling it without checking the dates. I will never shop here again.

WORST PLACE TO GET LIFE SAVING MEDICINE. THEY LIE ABOUT THEIR COMMITEMENT AND NEVER GET MY REFILLS FILLED ON TIME. I NEED MEDS READY BEFORE CHEMO AND I GIVE THEM A WEEK TO REFILL AND THEY NEVER HAVE MY MEDS. IM SO BEHIND IN MY CHEMO BECAUSE OF THEIR DELAY TO ORDER MY MEDS ON TIME.

The staff at this pharmacy never seem to know what they are doing. They said my meds aren't ready when I know my doctor faxed them weeks ago. I needed 6 months supply for travel and they would only give me 3 months saying there's no refill when three clearly said 1 refill available on the label. I also made an appointment for covid shots and the guy giving them out gave shots to 10 walkins and only called my in when he was done with everyone in the line.

Cashier supervisor JESS was exhibiting outrageous and disrespectful behaviour towards me. I wanted to return something, but my card kept declining. Therefore, I asked for store credit instead. Jess went on to say that I have to use my store credit right now, and gave it to me. Then I bought some stuff and used the point redemption offer Then there was only 14 dollars left to pay, store credit was 34 dollars. She did not even give me a moment to speak, to let her know that I would buy something else as well to use up my store credit. The next thing I know, she is yelling at me. Claiming that I lied to her and didn’t use my full store credit. I was trying to talk to her once again, but her voice increases louder saying that suddenly customers know how to do her job in a mocking way. I tell her to keep her voice down, and talk to me in a respectful manner as I am her customer. Jess says “who are you now u tell me how to do my job ”, continuing with her screaming. As a person who loves shopping at Shoppers Drugmart, I am extremely disappointed with this behaviour. I only wanted to return something and was not expecting this unforgivable behaviour to come upon me. No customer should EVER be treated this way.

Poor customer service. I have been trying to call the store from 2 days and they don’t even answer the phone.

No customer service at all, they literally turned their back on customer, like they never heard u. Other one told me to wait as she checks in the back, disappeared. Never cane back.

I had a great time shopping in cosmetics at this location, girl name Manmeet was so helpful and knowledgeable, even though it was busy but she was super helpful to help every customer. The service I received from this girl is really what has me coming back.

I was helped by a 4th year UBC student today and he was incredibly kind and professional. The barcode on my medication bag was ripped and he apologized profusely and printed another one in less than a minute. He double checked the medication and was overall incredibly friendly. I've unfortunately come across pharmacists who weren't as friendly at other locations, so this experience was great for me. 5/5, need more pharmacists like him!

Horrible pharmacy and the guy by name thilak who works there is so rude and unprofessional. Everything he says is full of arrogance and makes you feel like he is doing a favor to you. I am pregnant and in spite of that he was arrogant and rude and did not want to help at all. Disappointed!

My wife is 8 months pregnant and we dropped the prescription on Saturday were told to receive a call back which never came. We called ourselves and the pharmacist by name Thilak was extremely rude and highly unprofessional. We called before coming and they said you can come any time and take it. When we went he said i am busy doing covid shots and i can not do it. He was so rude and full of arrogance. I am not sure where we can complain about him but i felt so frustrated how people misuse their position especially being in health care. Just working to earn money no sympathy and empathy left. She being 8 months pregnant had to wait and finally hear no from him and take his attitude without any reason. Horrible horrible experience.

Worst service ever. Cosmetic cashier was too busy to ring me out as she was “doing online order and will take another five minutes”. Their manager, a Chinese middle aged man, was the worst who was at main checkout. I will never be going to this specific location ever in my life.

I have been calling the pharmacy since 2pm today on behalf of my mom. She needs a rx refill and the Dr has already written rx for the full year. Everytime I called, I could hear someone just pick up the phone and hang up rightaway. The fifth time that I called, someone actually picked up and quickly said that she is putting me on hold. Its been 35minutes already and I am still on hold. The customer service is unacceptable. Three months ago I went through a similar situation when they said that the rx would be ready by next day but when I got there just before closing, they didnt have the rx ready. After today's incident of someone handing up on me so many times, I am actually going to take my business elsewhere. Pharmasave and london drugs have way better service than this shoppers drug mart.

The lady that answered my phone call at pharmacy is so rude. She sounded angrily and impatient for just one simple inquiry. Now i now why people giving bad reviews about the pharmacy.

People that work in the pharmacy are so useless. Slow workers, never answer the phone.thank God I do not go to this location anymore

Manmeet bhinder, the girl on cosmetics side was so rude as she was not even replying properly and her arrogance was visible in her actions. She had no customer service skills. She needs to change her attitude towards customers.

Terrible. Called because the King George Blvd branch mentioned that Scott Road and Nordel branches offer RTPCR test. The Rep at the pharmacy who picked my call did not even let me complete my sentence or speak and slammed saying we don't do it.

The pharmacy is very difficult to deal with. I'm still on hold now 30 minutes.and i'm still waiting just to see if my doctor send my prescription there.

Shopped here a week ago during a PC Optimum Bonus Redemption Week and the woman working the register, Inder, went out of her way in delivering exemplary service to accommodate my requests and answering any questions I had regarding both products and general purchase guidelines. The customer service alone would make me want to shop at this location over all others.

Pharmacy staff is terrible. Trying to get a cream for the last 3 months that was prescribed 2 times and faxed them by my doctor. Whenever I go there, they say it is not ready. Just did my 5th visit and was told it will be ready in an hour. I doubt it.

Over the top rude pharmacy staff. They treated a friend of mine who speaks little English so rudely she left crying.

I would warn anyone about purchasing seasonal items from shoppers drug mart. I purchased a Christmas gift in November that was faulty and when trying to return it they were not flexible with the 30 day refund policy. Most retailers will provide a week extension over Christmas given most items are not opened until the 25th. So now I am stuck with a $100 item that doesn’t work. This inflexibility has led me to no longer trust this retailer and obviously the strict policy is to only benefit them and their bottom line. I will be taking my business elsewhere and will avoid the Loblaw brand entirely.

Been coming here for years new staff and I'll trained people have ruined the trust I had with this place. I won't be coming back. I have never had any issues filling prescriptions and the techs, head pharmacist are rude.

I had my doctor fax the pharmacy a prescription. I called them and told them that I will be coming to pick it up. They said 45 mins. I went there and they were all laughing and giggling away at some joke in their language and were absolutely unprofessional. They were not able to find my prescription and made me wait another 30 mins to have it ready. I will NEVER be going to this pharmacy again. Cheap paid workers who are new students will not be professional or have any customer service. From the looks of it the store has had so many bad reviews and yet nothing has changed. Not sure how you're still in business.

Registered for their flu shot program. Got an email telling me to go to any Shoppers drug Mart and get the flu shot anytime within the next seven days. I came to the shop with drug Mart on Scott Road and the pharmacist tells me that I have to make an appointment which was not indicated on the email. Mention this to the pharmacist but according to her they make up their own rules.

Super young guy working at the pharmacy was very unprofessional when I went to pick up a prescription. He was using slang and did not know what he was talking about whatsoever. It's not a good feeling picking up a prescription and the pharmacist knows nothing about it and can't answer any questions. Will be switching pharmacies

I am writing to complaint about the customer experience we had at the shoppers drug mart located at 7538-120th street, Surrey, BC, V3W3N1. Me and my two friends went there yesterday, I was trying a pair of earrings on and the lady from the cosmetics showed up. She said don’t you know about the covid-19 and all, you are not allowed to try these on. I said I am sorry and i will buy these and also you need to put up the signs about not trying products. In response, she said “it is a common sense”, which I found very rude and bad attitude!
At the end when I went to pay, I asked if there is any manager/supervisor on shift, there was other lady standing to the side she referred me to. (was a supervisor). I tried to explain the situation to her but I found it very dissatisfying, she was not at all listening to me. Both these ladies in the cosmetics were trying to win an argument rather than winning a customer. I was there on July 22,2020 between 9pm- 9: 30 pm. The lady looks like Indian - black hair, works in cosmetics and there was no name tag on her t-shirt. The supervisor was chinese lady wearing a blue shoppers t-shirt.
I would like you to please look into this issue as this was the worst experience I ever had at shoppers drug mart. Please take a strict action towards both the ladies.

Today I had the privilege of meeting a cosmetician by the name of Jazz. I went to purchase something which was not related to cosmetics while she was ringing my stuff in I had asked her questions towards makeup as I am not familiar with it, while talking to me she had a beautiful smile, she did not rush when answering my questions, she was very polite while helping. I have never had this kind of experience while shopping before so in had to write a review.

I’ve been with Shoppers most of my life. I’ve always received thorough, knowledgeable and friendly service. This is hands down the worst pharmacy I’ve ever been too. They’ve lost my prescriptions, not transferred prescriptions, not put prescriptions through my extended health. I always order my prescriptions well in advance to give them lots of time. Yet, I receive emails saying my prescriptions are ready when they aren’t, I get phone calls from store staff telling me my prescriptions are ready when they aren’t, I have staff hand me one prescription telling me that’s the only one I’ve ordered, when I’ve ordered 3 and they can’t even be bothered to check that I have more. The right hand doesn’t know what the left hand is doing here. They could kill somebody they’re that incompetent!

I went there on saturday around 6: 30.unfortunately I can’t meet manager cos I need to talk about the lady who is working in cosmetics. She was so rude, her way of talking is so unprofessional. Honestly, I checked the lipstick colour because I didn’t know that testers are not allowed. But instead of informing me that testers are not allowed she showed me bad attitude that was not acceptable. Other staff was nice but she needs to learn customer service and manners.

Went to pick up 3 prescriptions today. Also ended up making other purchases. Went straight home and went to place my pizza in the oven for lunch. The pizza was completely thawed I phoned and told them to check their freezer out of concern that others could get sick. The customer service women told me that they would probably give me a credit for the next time I come in. She called back and told me the freezers were working so it was not their fault.

Other cashier customer service people are Nice but cosmetic women she was very rude! When I went to ask product. She didn’t not say any thing about products but was saying maintain distance don’t open any product! What is this? People know their safety is priority we are not fool! Customer service sooooooooo bad

Thank you to the lady at the cosmetic counter a couple of months ago for recommending a Dior cologne for my husband he absolutely loved it!

Went to shoppers they over charged me on a product and I saw my receipt and told the girl she refunded the money and gave me the product for free.that was awesome love the store.shop there alit.good service always.

Nobody to direct people to line up 6 feet apart, I had to give instruction myself. Security not willing to say anything.
I asked if baskets were sanitized in between uses and I was told ‘I have no idea’.
Staff inside also not respecting the 6 feet apart rule while walking around the store.

My wife went in April 18, I was under the impression that the first hour was for senior citizens only.
There were lots of younger people shopping.

They should be clear on this.
Will not be returning.

Apparently its not the employees job to keep the front of the store clean. This is what I was told when I asked if anyone had seen the state of their front entrance. Ill shop somewhere else. Thanks.

The worst place to go is shoppers specially on scott road and 75 avenue the supervisor dont know how to talk with the customers she was really rude. I was there for a exchange of the facewash which was having a foul smell and was not good for my skin, I told her to replace it because I was having a receipt and bought it just 2 days ago she said no we cant, just come tomorrow and talk to manager.

Worst pharmacists here I have ever been seen although assistants were nice but owner of pharmacy was rude, egoist. Other pharmacists were also very unprofessional as I used to be their regular customer 2 years ago, avoid avoid avoid

Went in on a Saturday around 9: 30 pm, asked if I could get a flu shot, said that they don't do flu shots on weekends.
Drives to another shopper on the same day, got my flu shot done.

Worst shopping experience ever with Shoppers just because of that rude lady staff on cosmetic counter. She should know the basic ethics of the customer interaction. She had no sense of talking. Shoppers should spend some money on educating its staff or should bear losing their valuable customers.

Nice location. Easily Visible while driving on the road. Staff is helpful. Ample parking space. Disabled friendly parking and entrance. Prices of products are on the higher side as compared to Real Canadian Superstore and Save On Foods.

Got treated fair, wouldve liked some help for a certain product I was looking for but then again it was midnight so all in all I liked it

Very rude staff on cosmetic counter, I was looking for the lipstick on that day. An Indian lady came to me and told that don't peel it out the plastic from the new lipstick and only you can test from the tester. I didn't do anything and didn't destroy any of those new lipstick in my whole life. I am a truly customer for shoppers drug mart for about 10 years and I love to shop there to get points.
I would recommend that don't go to that cosmetic counter and you will meet rude lady will give the bad service. Wish that store will make reaction upon my review.

Amar apparently first tells you (in a rude and abrupt manner) to wait until the medication is ready (half hour) and then FORGETS ABOUT IT COMPLETELY after the wait time given is up!

Pharmacy staff here is also are VERY well-trained in MAKING UP EXCUSES for why they like to leave things around and “forget” about filling prescriptions.

Avoid the BS and find a better, reliable and responsible pharmacy!

This location is the worst one in town. Every time I visit the store, these guys successfully manage to screw up on something or the other so I have decided to never visit this location again. The staff is unhelpful and their supervisors are even worse. If you want to be misled into buying or want to have a harrowing experience as a customer then this is place you should visit.
