Lesley in the comestic/make up department, is absolutely amazing. I don't have enough kind words to describe how wonderful this woman is, she will turn your worst day into the most amazing, when she talks to you, her focus is on you what you need, and most of all how you are about it all. Her customer service isoutstanding, and completely above and beyond. Every single time I go in she remembers my name and little details about me and truly makes me feel wonderful everytime I go in. Thank you Lesley so much for your kind service and being 100000% perfect at your job but also making sure your customers are above all happy and feel special!

The pharmacist is an absolute dear and went out of his way to assist me. He additionally did his due diligence and contacted my doctor to make sure it was okay to prescribe during my state.

Most of the employees are OK but I had a bad experience today checking out as the cashier was more interested in speaking to a co-worker than helping me out. But my low rating comes from the fact that I tried to return an item last week and the computer system was taking forever to process the transaction. This was normal according to the cashier. After ten minutes the cashier offered me a refund in the form of a gift card which I reluctantly accepted. A message to the owner: fix your old computer system so that your employees can do their jobs. This is completely unacceptable in this day and age.

Terrible and rude customer service. I've called this location a couple times to see if they have certain items in stock. One time, a very rude lady answered the phone and said that they wouldn't be getting in the item I was looking for and basically hung up on me. I happened to be in the area a week later dropping off some mail and popped in, just to find the item I had been calling about a week prior.

I came in to purchase a few items, paying with some cash then debit, I was using one of the old 5 dollar bills (but still a legal tender) and they wouldnt take, I dont know why they hire those who arent even aware of what all the current legal tenders look like, and when i asked to speak to a manager she wouldnt bring her over. AWFUL! Never returning.

The worst pharmacy I’ve ever experienced. We called once and showed up twice to get medication and it’s not ready yet. We’ve given them all day

I didn't get his name but I just want to thank the pharmacist that works here. Every time I go there he is more helpful than most doctors and looks at my problem and shows me where the necessary product is. Huge huge help. Thank you man I really appreciate it.

This place is going down the toilet. Getting increasingly difficult in getting my prescriptions filled out. They are constantly forgetting to do it. Today they claimed that they have been very busy. Even though they had 24 hours to do it. Might be time to change drug stores? Not at all surprised with all the negative reviews on here. I wonder if the big wigs at shoppers drug mart take notice? UPDATE And the gong show continues Recently had to re-fill one of my prescriptions. Paid for it and had to wait ten days for pills to arrive. Druggist refuses to carry more inventory of that drug.

Blonde lady working in the beauty department was extremely rude. Waited for forever to even get help and she acted like I was SUCH an inconvenience to her. When it was dead in the store. Rolled her eyes at any question I asked. Horrible experience. I left in tears cause I couldn't believe how I was treated. I will definitly be driving 20 extra minutes to a different location. Everytime I go to this one, the staff is unbelievably rude. If you're so miserable at your job work else where.don't take it out on your loyal customers. I just don't understand.

I've been using this Shoppers for years & have received fantastic service from the pharmacy team.the owner truly goes out of his way to ensure my vaccines are up to date:) The rest of the store is equally fine. Know your prices& shop the sales.

I have been going to this location for many years specifically for the pharmacy. I can tell you the pharmacist team, especially the owner, has gone out of their way more than once to help keep me in good health. This includes extending prescriptions etc. This is something they do not have to do, but in my mind it shows that they take the effort to go the extra mile for all their customers. Thank you Aldergrove Shoppers Pharmacy.

Today was the last day I will ever step foot in the Aldergrove location. The customer service in this place is unbelievable and extremely rude. Not sure what has happened to this location but I will drive further to go elsewhere.

Ok store for a quick pop in, although they are often out of stock of whatever I’m looking for. Doesn’t seem to matter if it’s cough syrup, lozenges or my favourite eye shadow.

The worst pharmacy I've been to. I keep going because it's a block from my house but prescriptions are NEVER ready and they don't even seem to mind that you're stuck waiting every time.

Pharmacy THE WORST. Zero understanding of customer service. Owner seems to think being understaffed is a good thing. Never again will I use this pharmacy. TERRIBLE. HORRIBLE. AWFUL. NO THANK YOU!

Confusing.
Prescription was filled and sent in to the location the day prior. Phoned the location following day to confirm it was ready for pick up. Told the prescription is ready, all I had to do is come in and show my ID because I was a new customer at this particular SDM.
Showed up as directed, came to the counter and was told "oh we never told you it was ready we just told you we needed to take your ID" you can come back in 45 minutes?
I travel a lot for work, and use SDM on the road as well, and while shoeing ID at pickup is normal, being told your order is ready when it's not is odd

Terrible service at the Pharmacy today, I was told my prescription would take a week to be made up and that I would have to pay full price and be reimbursed by my insurance company. Canceled with Shoppers and went over to Save on pharmacy where my prescription was done within a couple of hours and my coverage under my Insurance plan was accepted no payment necessary. I am extremely disappointed in Shoppers pharmacy and would give them a big ZERO if I could

Constantly need to be aware of prices at the checkout. Sale items are VERY OFTEN misleading and it isn't necessarily the item right beside the sign. If I don't watch at the till, then I often come home and realize I didn't receive the advertised price.

Pharmacy is really good here, always have what we need and knowledgeable staff to answer any inquiries.

Bought a pair of headphones here & had the battery explode 2 days later. I had purchased using the self-checkout & the e-receipt never reached my email (despite double checking the spelling twice). After waiting at the till for 5 minutes this morning waving at the security cameras before finally going to the makeup counter & asking them to page someone because I had not seen a single other employee in the store, neither the person who showed up nor her manager could even be bothered to print out a proper receipt for me so I could actually return the product to its manufacturer. Unfortunately, this means I need to go back later & hope that there's someone working who understands that the response to "You never sent me my receipt" is NOT "you need to deal with the manufacturer. "

PS: Could someone explain to the clerk that sometimes guys wear pink things? You'd think my giant sideburns and slightly receding hairline might be a hint that I'm not a lady, but apparently not

Store has gone down hill since they put in the self checkout. Don't seem to care about stock or customer service.

They sometimes have a lot of stock but most of the time, items are not available. Bad wait times for Pharmacy.

I have been using this pharmacy for a couple of years now and have always found them very helpful and professional. On several occasions they have gone above and beyond to address some of my prescription challenges, costs or concerns, especially during Covid. Very happy and will be sticking with them.

I am more concerned about the reviews I've read on here and the fact that not a lot seems to be getting done to change it.an apology doesn't do a lot when it sounds like it's a constant thing that is happening. I personally have not had any problems as of yet.but I have seen some issues being in store with other customers

Service is consistently satisfactory. Pharmacists (in my experience) are very knowledgeable and friendly.

I always have a pleasant experience when I shop in the Aldergrove store. I feel disappointed when I shop the other locations because I expect the same standards.

This has got to be one of the worst pharmacies. You request a refill well in advance & then you go to pick it up & always end up waiting while they struggle to find it. I've been filling the same prescription for years, 3 months at a time, they have now decided to only allow one month at a time. Then they lie & say that was what my doctor requested. The last thing I want to do is go anywhere more often than I have to given everything going on. I'd like to say I'm surprised but this is their way of collecting the dispensing fee more often. So now I pay more for my prescriptions & for the gas required to drive there. Seriously? Definitely recommend you go elsewhere.

I have been going to Shoppers Drug Mart pharmacy for the past 6 years and I have always been very satisfied with their professional services. Staff have been prompt, courteous and always accommodating. They do at times help train pharmacy students which may require some extra patience, but for me this pharmacy has proven to be excellent!

Horrid for filling prescriptions on time. Do not reccomend unless you want to waste your time and come back multiple times

I told them I would be picking up in 3 hours at most, came 30 minutes early but they still did not even started on the process. There was only a few customers in wait, so I do not see why they took so long.

They do not care about their customers as long they "fill out the quota". In this case, this meant taking their sweet time to take care of my prescription (EXACTLY 3 HOURS). Why would I even want to go here in first place, if they don't even care about their customers.

I even told them I had work 20 mins when dropping off my prescription, so they know that I am a busy person. In this day and age, you don't leave these things to the last minute. THIS STORE IS SO UNPROFESSIONAL!

The man working in the pharmacy is extremely rude. I showed him a product on my phone last week, for infant colic, which was not on the shelf. He didn’t even give me any customer service, didn’t say “I can check for you”. He just aggressively picks up the phone, rudely says “ummm merchandiser to pharmacy” with such tone. Slams the phone and walks away not even making eye contact. To me it felt like I was inconveniencing him and it was an annoyance. Horrible service from him! The other staff, man working in the post office I guess works double duty a merchandiser was very helpful and found the product for me.
I also asked someone on the floor if they would price match. She said rudely no they don’t do that sort of thing. You guys are charging $10 more for some items- example would be infant formula by the case or infant items are expensive. Not competitive pricing. Only shop there out of convenience but some things like the customer service and pricing needs to be addressed. Why don’t you price match?

STAY AWAY!
Used to be good, now it's terrible bad customer service and prescriptions never ready in time, complaining about doctors prescriptions not being filled out properly but when you read the prescription it sounds right. Don't tell you that they only have half of the prescription until you open the box and look at the bill. I'm not sure how a reputable business can run this way. I also noticed alot of other people are complaining on here with the same problems.

There food selection section is not very large as other shoppers, my father goes there on seniors day and noticed that they jack the prices up for that day, so the 20 % savings aren't savings anymore for seniors in the area.

Pharmacy is a joke, no customer service whatsoever. Felt as though they were annoyed I was even there.
