Probably the worst pharmacy I’ve ever dealt with. They seem really disorganized. A typical experience goes like this: I request refills of 5 medications, they say great, give us two hours. I give them 5 hours, or 24 hours. Whenever I get there they say, oh give us a few minutes. They haven’t even started. Then an hour later I go back and meds are ready, but they’ve forgotten one of them. I think they’ve gotten it right on the first try only once or twice in the past couple of years.

Starting today I’m going to use another location, even if it’s considerably further from where I live.

They DO NOT ANSWER THEIR PHONE. Was on hold for 30minutes or more until I gave up waiting. Not only once but most of time when I call them. Hire more staff my goodness

I put a single star, otherwise I would put 0, since I had a problem with the self-service machine and a very unpleasant situation occurred. It is the first time I have bought in this Shoppers and with the experience I had today, it was enough for me to not return again. I went to pay for my product at the self-service and when I was waiting to print my receipt, the machine asked for an assistant and there was an older lady at the checkout so I called her. The lady reluctantly went to help, if you can call that help. I asked her if everything was ok and she didn't even deign to answer, ignoring me and treating me like everything but a person. It was very unpleasant and I was very surprised that this kind of people is attending customers. I honestly don't know what she's doing there if she dislikes dealing with people; and if I'm not mistaken, this isn't the first time someone has complained about this employee in particular. I will not make another purchase from this Shoppers.

Pharmacy is AWFUL. This is my SECOND time in two months I’ve been here where they have claimed they never got my prescription from my doctor. I’ve received proof from my doctor he did infact send my prescription both times. I’ve been without my essential medication because of these people for 6 days now. I’m disgusted these people are even allowed to run a pharmacy like this? ! The woman next to me told me they frequently lose her paperwork? ! This is MALPRACTICE

Don’t go to prescription in their pharmacy
The pharmacy gave the expired soon and most expensive cream compared to the generic one. And the expiry date on medicine is 2023/11 which is 5 months later on it, the order is on 1 May 2023.

It’s irresponsible of them to do it also not allowed to exchange. They just put bc law out that you already taken the medicine out of pharmacy.

Worst pharmacists in all of Vancouver. Rude, never pick up the phone, terrible customer service. They tell you they will call you for prescription pick up and they never do. They do not process prescriptions sent in by doctors. You have to physically go to the pharmacy to speak to someone and they will treat you very badly and tell you they have not processed prescriptions yet even though it’s been way more than 24 hours. And they’ll make you wait another 2 to 3 hours. And not call you or email you to let you know it’s ready. Just avoid this place.

Today I was quite shocked when I first met a cashier of a big brand drug store.had a contemptuous attitude towards Asians.
I am very sad to be in this situation. I never thought someone who works at a very big brand would have such an attitude. I'll leave a receipt, timed the payment, so you can check the camera and find the person. I've thought a lot about sending her name, but I'll give her a chance. She (older cashier) not only had a bad attitude towards me, but also attitude towards an old man before me. I don't need to do anything for me, but just show the staff how to live peacefully and with education.

If you’re a POC honestly go somewhere else, otherwise you’ll be followed everywhere and stared at when youve done absolutely nothing wrong. They love to follow POC and never bat an eye to any white people. It’s disgusting and uncomfortable when my partner and I are here trying to purchase common grocery items as we have just moved here. I will not make my purchases here, I’d rather go literally anywhere else than feel degraded.

January 19th 6PM Pharmacy staff rude and unprofessional.
Slams phone down like she's tying to break it - takes my prescription - barks at me: "it's going to take 2 hours okay? " while already typing on the computer. I tell her "Two hours? I can't wait that long, I'll try somewhere else" she responds by tossing my prescription note on the counter and walking away.
What a dump.

They refused a return because it was bought at another location. The only business I have EVER experienced where they will not accept returns bought at other locations.

I definitely recommend and its pharmacist. I came here at around 10: 30pm on Saturday. I asked the Chinese male pharmacist for the recommendation of the medicines for my sister who got serious Covid symptoms. The pharmacist was so patient and his recommendations were so helpful! My sister got well on the next day! Thank you so much.

Its been years since i have shopped at this SDM location since my high school years (1991). Recently, been shopping there due to my new job in the area. Happy to see a Postal Office! Happy to see Lizzie (Post Office Manager). She is so efficient, friendly, helpful, very knowledgeable and very customer services expert. Its my newest Postal Office.

Cashier service is not good. They are rude. I was just in the store and I needed help on self checkout. First we waited and when she came to she was so rude and disrespectful and she didn’t wanna to helpful and she totally ignored us.
Never visiting this location again.

Earlier this week i went to pick up my medication at 6pm for my mother and there is a short chinese girl with lower pony tail told me that it would be ready at 2pm. But when i showed up 4 hours late it’s not even ready yet. The assistant forgot to put my mother’s meds on rush and they didnt even call to inform me that one of the 2 meds are waiting for stock to come.

I don't usually leave reviews, today is the day because of a 2nd bad experience at the post office, the first time about 1year ago I just let it go and troubleshooted and found my own solution.today is the 2nd time with the exact same problem.the "asst manager" named Lizzie (larger black lady) does not seem to be able to logically troubleshoot, use any type of logical reasoning or have any type of customer service. I reuse boxes, I cross of words like "syringe" (I work in medical so have access to such boxes with such words), she refuses to accept my box even though I made all attempts to cross it off, then she tells me to cross it of "more", then proceeds to give me a ball point pen to use, I ask for a thicker black pen, she gives me a half dried out sharpie, then she tells me to use brown paper to wrap up the box completely, so which is it Lizzie? Or are you just being illogical and difficult and have a bone to pick? She still flat out refuses to accept my box, now I must use another location where it is actually REALLY easy to drop off a package to be mailed.not sure how this woman made it to "asst manager", luckily for her she is in a union position so nothing will happen to her and she will go about her day not learning how to use logic. I will never use this location again, thus I will never step foot into the Shoppers again. I only use it because it close to work.sorry to all the folks that live near there and have no other option.all other post offices I've ever used (including dropping off boxes with the word "syringe" that is NOT crossed off) have NEVER been a problem.

There is better shoppers around the city, the convenience of this one does not outweigh the terrible customer service. Do better.

The Canada Post office customer service is super rude. I was there today at 5-515pm and she’s an older Asian lady with black long hair and got some attitude problem. I usually do my mailings here and the other staff are always nice but this one was a big NO

I really didn't appreciate the pharmacist speaking in a very loud voice to the point of yelling so that every one around me in the shoppers could hear every detail about a personal situation when I went to get a prescription filled today. If a pharmacist can't practice basic respect and discretion and privacy for clients while serving the public maybe it's not the right job for her.

I stopped by here hoping to pick up supplies for a medical injection, and was mocked and disrespected by the pharmasist. Completely unnessicary? They also assumed Diabetics are the only group of people who require injections which is just incorrect? LOL

The pharmacists talk down to neurodivergent folks and belittle their experiences. They should not be in their profession.

I called the pharmacy on Sunday (Sept 5) to see if they got my requisition for a hepatitis A & B vaccine shot from my doctor's office. The lady I spoke to was really nice and told me to come by on Tuesday (Sept 7) to get the shot. When Tuesday came, something came up so I called the pharmacy to see if I can go there the next day. The man on the phone said it was perfectly fine and that I can come between 11am-7pm on Wednesday (Sept 8) so I could get my shot. So I went on Wednesday at around 3: 15pm. I waited and waited, had an unpleasant experience with one rude pharmacist, until she (finally) handed me off to a nicer younger Asian lady who was very nice and helpful. She administered the shot and let me go. Will ask for her name next time I see her because she was very pleasant. I was out there at 3: 50pm. I'm rating this 5 stars because as much as I didn't like that one pharmacist's rudeness towards me during the beginning, the other one made up for it. Will be coming back in a month for my second shot.

Great place for racial profiling.

Went for in to buy shampoo and was blatantly followed. Security guard spent a lot of time following me (the only person of colour shopping at the time) and didn’t even bat an eyelash towards the white shoppers. This is not the first time. This is a common occurrence in this location. Perhaps Shoppers Drug Mart needs to work with security companies who have racial sensitivity training. I will be taking my business somewhere else.

The pharmacy is terrible here. I waited 3.5 hours for my prescription that was faxed in and I had to come back 3 times. One of those times the guy told me they didn't fill my prescription because I haven't been there recently and he wasn't sure if it was the right location so that decided just to sit on it. Even though I had been there that day asking for it. (which is a lie. I go there often). Boo.

The pharmacy is completely understaffed! If you ever decide to go to this location after 6: 00 pm. You will be waiting between 25-35 minutes.

The pharmacist is answering all the calls, delivering medications and talking to the customers about there medications. You could hear the helper saying “pharmacist line 1”. She is basically running around all over the place and gets no time to think. It’s completely unprofessional and I feel awful for the lady pharmacist who is working there.

They should have a minimum of two pharmacist working all day for such a busy and large location. Broadway commercial is by far the busiest location in Vancouver.

They have about 3-4 helpers but cannot do anything for the customers. The only thing they say is I will get a pharmacist for you. They cannot recommend anything or answer any questions what’s so ever. They also tell you one time and it takes them even longer.

I found the staff at Canada Post service desk VERY dismissive and unfriendly. They were not willing to help me at all and it's not the first time I have experienced this from the same staff members. Although Elaine always goes above and beyond with her service.

I think the pharmacy is the bees knees. Kind patient and considering what they put up with, they are angels. I’ve asked to speak to the boss just to tell him so

Staff member wasnt wearing their mask properly (under nose and half of mouth) and proceeded to sneeze on my purchase without covering her mouth/nose. Especially during these pandemic times this isnt appropriate.

I hope this is for the Shoppers at Broadway sky train at Commercial Drive. They were so kind and patient and capable of sorting out a problem for me. Everyone from the Security worker to the customer services and cosmetics assistant) I made a mistake on self checkout then lost my purchase. Yes. Laugh please. They respectfully and sincerely helped. Even checked their camera to ensure I had the items when I left the store. At my request. Not to insinuate I was trying to steal. The only name I remember is a very common one (so she can deny it’s her if I’m embarrassing her) : Thanks Maria! BTW I found my purchase later that evening. Cue the laughter. Shop there and be happy. But if you’re anything like me, stick with the human checkout staff.

If you are on assisted living or you are disabled then I don't recommend going to this location. They consistently tell you that your prescription will be 15 minutes but when you return it's always another 15 minutes. For someone who is disabled and has mobility issues this can be a concern.

Instead of declining politely saying that they have already closed for the day, the Canada Post staff who worked at 8PM scolded me saying, "Next time you come here before 8PM, it is already 8PM and we are closed" with her face who looks like she owns the store. As if I insisted on buying, as soon as she told me that I told her nevermind I can come back when you are open. As a customer service, you should be polite to your customers especially if we are not looking to pick a fight. She was soooo rude, I felt ashamed to what I have done. I am a regular shopper at this store and I will never buy anything if I see that sfatt again.

Staff and security very friendly! Thank you to jenneth who helped me purchase cologne, she was attentive, polite and enthusiastic! 5/5 would recommend.

I am very disappointed with the service from the staff from Canada Post! The way she spoke to me was awful and the look she gave me when I asked her some questions was really rude!

The worst experience ever for the Canada Post part. Hours not updated because of COVID-19. So, I arrived 3 hours after they closed since my package notification for When it arrived said they closed at 8. Not 5. When I was trying to tell the Canada Post attendant she would not even look at me or turn around and just pointed to the close sign. I appreciate all the work that front facing employees do but the fact that the Canada Post manager didn't even care when I tried telling her the hours are different and completely ignored me is very uncomfortable and almost hurtful. (I was told she was the manager when I tried to tell a shoppers employee about my experience after).

I understand it's a stressful job but just imagine being isolated at home and this is the first experience you get from a customer service front facing person. Incredible Canada Post. Incredible.

Usually have really good experiences but recently I came to pick up a package and I was not informed of the changed hours. The employee just looked at me annoyed and said "the post office is closed. " I only missed it by 25 min so I think they could have made an exception or even just not given me the sharp attitude.

Can you guys please advise your security personnel to not stare at everyone like shoplifters. From the time you enter the store you leave that guy is always staring at you. I have worked in the industry too and this is not how you do the job buddy. Stop making it awkward for genuine people. Also that guy looks so bored out of his mind.

Had an issue with headphones and the sales manager Olivia was very helpful and understanding even though I was being difficult (turns out i was in the wrong). Her patience needs to be noted.

Will i went this morning 9: 00 am to buy thermometer i asked this manager hoping he knows what the customer asked questions, he make me confuse and i was frustrated please straight to the point to the customer if you dont know please dont give me wrong information.you should know better than the customer thats why we are asking.

I just wanted to acknowledge the beauty department has the greatest customer service every time I come in all the ladies are always welcoming and are polite knowledgeable and they always have such a great attitude I love it! I see the way they are with other customers same treatment I go here rather than London drugs thanks guys! Keep it up!

Not everyone is shoplifters, and unfair that they discriminate younger people. Awful experience at this store.

Dreaded almost everytime I had to pick up my prescriptions. There was only one person in the pharmacy who was kind when I would go In. Prices are high because of its location. I would recommend going elsewhere.

Awful experience, the owner Dan is arrogant and always has bad attitude. He blames everyone for stealing. I have heard from many other people and customers that he blames them for stealing with no proof.

None of these Shoppers have the photo instant print stations. Same with all the ones in the area.

It's Kind of a Funny Story. It's a drug store that's trying to be a grocery store. That's nice that they're widening their selection. I have noticed that London Drugs is doing the same. So they have frozen pizzas, milk, ice cream, frozen dinners, fresh bananas, tomatoes, onions, meat, chicken, Etc. This is all fairly new. Also, the self-checkouts are a fairly recent addition as well. Great place to go when it's open 24 hours to grab that Forgotten Christmas gift or card or dozen eggs or milk or what have you. Also your cold in pain medicines are available 24 hours as is the pharmacy.

I get my prescription here, the pharmacists are friendly and helpful. My only complain is they run out of some prescriptions pretty fast.

I was at the pharmacies yesterday and stand a the counter this pharmacist lady recognize me she said my name right away i was very impress that was the first time in all the years. She was so nice it made my day Thank you.this is the best feeling.

I was very angry with them because the service was bad and the employees were not interested in the customers. One of the employees looked at me because I was haraam or vagabond. They do not know that people are creative and not in the clothes. I talk about myself because they do not respect customers. I do not want to buy anything from this shop because they are disgusting.

What happened to the RBC ATM at this location? I used it in the summer many times but went yesterday and it was a PC Financial one with fees.

I've been going to this pharmacy for about 2 years now. Recently I've been having issues getting my perscription refilled due to my schedule being overwhelmingly busy. The pharmacists who have "helped" me the past few visits have been nothing but rude and snarky towards me. I asked for my perscription today and was told to wait for about 15 minutes. I waited for over half an hour right by the counter for them to call my name like they did for the other 5 people that came in before and after me but heard nothing. When I checked in again the guy brushed me off and said it had already been ready after he was already rude to me. Enough is enough so I'm immediately swapping pharmacies because I'm done with their behaviour.
