I wish could rate 0 star. Very rude mangers and what can expect from staff. If u have receipt they have problem to return if not they say oh if u have recipt we would return. I was regular customer but not going to spend single cent anymore. Think before u go there. Security guard follows like u r going to steal.

0 Customer Service, I had to come back to pickup medicine since the staff need atleast half hour to setup customer profile, they even didn’t let me pay for medicine for which doctor has already prescribed. They dont care about patients….

The pharmacy is terrible here, have had numerous bad experiences such as one time they wouldn’t give me antibiotics I needed because they were closing in 4 hours and too busy, yes 4 hours.

The pricing at Shoppers Drug Mart seems inflated, and I highly recommend potential customers to explore alternatives like London Drugs. I found identical items at London Drugs for significantly better prices.

I went to this pharmacy on Saturday as I needed the Pharmacist’s assistance with a health concern. Pharmacist Doan was absolutely amazing. He was attentive, knowledgeable, efficient and caring. I even received a follow up phone call. Strongly recommend this pharmacy!

Cosmetics staff are very knowledgeable, store is nice and clean, and products are well stocked. Highly recommended!

The pharmacy is amazing. Always friendly and patient no matter how many people are waiting or what crazy questions they ask. (and I’ve overheard some doozies lol) I never feel rushed and I feel like they genuinely care about their patients/customers. On top of that- I often forget my refills and they’re very good and reminding me. Definitely appreciate these guys.

Wanted to buy test strips for my wife with type 1 diabetes. The pharmacist wanted a prescription from a Doctor. In the 36 years of being diabetic, this is the first time we have been asked for a prescription. You don’t need a prescription. Pretty clueless. They would rather let someone die as they don’t care. Shocking

I have yet to find a competent or useful employee @any of their locations. No one can seem to answer questions that are simpler then they are. In a way it's amazing.

Ground Floor of New Westminster station. Near buses 123 bus route ends here Canada Way route south from Willington millenium line transfer to expo line at production way or Lougheed so both trains can get you to new west trains end very shortly after midnight heading into town.would be nice for more open stores late night for the many shift workers that work nightshift or graveyard that need to shop.at night before or after work.

I bought a $100 gift card from the New West Shoppers and there's no money in it! Do not shop there!

Worst Shoppers ever. The security followed my husband, sister and I all around the store the whole time we shopped. When we stood in line he stood there too pretending to look at stuff, I can’t tell if it’s because we are tattooed and he was discriminating against us but based on these reviews they just follows everyone. The staff intentionally try and make you uncomfortable by staring you down as you browse around at aisles.i am really uncomfortable and paranoid as i look around each of the aisles.they even have the audacity to gaslight you when you didn’t do anything wrong.i go here a lot and now i feel unsafe and paranoid around this location.

Pharmacy won't check the fax system even two hours after opening - don't rely on this location for urgent prescriptions because you will just be left to suffer.

The people working at this pharmacy are the rudest I have ever encountered. 811 east Columbia St. Unit 1 is the address. I had flu symptoms. I couldn't breath. I was actually buying flu medicine when I was there and the pharmacist new that. I came back twenty minutes too early for my prescription (supposedly) for my asthma. I then was met with a myriad of insults. When I lost my cool after being abused they called me abusive. Three pharmacists actually started yelling at me as I was walking away. It was like they were a gang and I was the prey. Never come to this location. If you were dying they would probably make you wait as long as possible. Extremely unprofessional. I'm filing a formal complaint!

One of the worse pharmacies in the neighbourhood. Gave me wrong information. Rude and unprofessional.

Very poor experience with flu shots. Filled in online form. Came as it says walk in next to the pharmacy. But inside the pharmacists won't give you the shot neither they have appointments. Very poor state of affairs. Atleast don't mislead customers by writing that flu shots are by walk in. And please learn ownership.

I went in yesterday and asked for a mask. The cashier then told me that it was $1.00. I asked to see the sign that there was a charge, or to speak to the manager. I said I'd pay for the mask I just wanted to ensure that was policy first and she was super rude. I paid her the 1.00, got the mask and spoke to the Assistant Manager who seemed to know nothing about the charge for the mask policy. Pretty sure the cashier was running a scam off the front desk $1.00 is a lot to pay for a mask considering the area has marginalized and homeless people who have a right to basic items (like medication) without having to pay $1.00 to get a mask to enter a store like Shoppers Drugmart.

I witnessed a woman being treated unfairly at the pharmacy here. Then three of the pharmacists started shouting at her while she was leaving the store. I was mortified! Extremely unprofessional. I will never be coming back to this location! What is happening to the world?

Every experience I've had with this pharmacy has been terrible. This one tops it. I brought my daughter in for a flu shot, assuming their ads were truthful. "No appointment necessary ". I was asked if I had an appointment, and told that the earliest availability was in two weeks. I mentioned that all of their ads said no appointment necessary, and the pharmacist angrily snapped at me, saying that if they actually did that, they would have no time for anything else. Funny how the Superstore pharmacy with less staff working had no problem. Just damned rude.

The beauty expert Slyvia Ma was amazing. She treats me with so much respect and poise, I felt really wonderful after meeting her
She sold me Armani Perfumo and only picked out the best options for me. She is very cheerful. Also, she told me about promos to help with my purchase

The staff are so ride and don't respect client at all I called them before I go there and asked how long does it take my prescription be ready someone told me if you come before 9: 30 it takes 20 min I went there someone name Amandi told me you are lying nobody told you it takes 20 min this is the worst shoppers and one star is too high for them

The self check out was busy so I went to the cashier to check out as the lady perisan or Indian was helping me she told me next time to use the self checkout and not go to her if I am using debit. She was mad that I got her to do her job. I said it was busy and there was someone already waiting for the self check out and she stayed quiet and shoved the receipt to me. Very unprofessional.

Poor service across the board. They run a skeleton crew whom they force to run the cash register at the same time as stocking the shelf, so sometimes you're waiting at the til for 3-5 minutes until someone sees you there and begrudgingly comes to help you. Secondly, the pharmacy stated to me on the phone they would send a request to my doctor for a Rx refill, and the next day when I called to ask, they said "We didn't send it because we thought they wouldn't reply" When I asked them why they lied to me about this, they said "You must have just misunderstood us". Will never shop at this store again, if I can help it!

I called the number it said fill out the form on line for your flu shot did that. Only to find out when I get to the store it's by appointment only.

Update: I think they have new staff. The sales associate was helpful and knowledgeable. I think they are on commission but she could have made a bigger sale. She forgot two items while helping another client then went on break. I bought online instead.

The perfume lady was extra helpful and gave 6 star service. I now have a new favorite cologne, Prada ocean.

The sales associate at the makeup counter was terrible. She called me stupid. And then walked away without being informative and didn’t look like she likes her job.

L went there at 11pm because it said open till midnight as my girlfriend was not feeling well, l got there and it was closed.very upsetting!

The customer service is too bad the girl at cash seems to be untrained because she doesn’t know how points redemption works.

Very bad customer service and rude employees. They accused my daughter twice for steeling jewelry. One of the incidents was when I was with her and we purchased $46 worth of items. The security guard followed her around the store, making it uncomfortable and unsafe to shop. We paid for our purchase of $46 (as the security guard stood 3 meters away and watched us), and we followed by heading out towards our car. He came outside running after us and accused my daughter of stealing a pair of earrings that she “put it in her bag”. She held her bag up with confidence as to prove she was innocent and the security guard ended up switching the subject and told her that next times she should put items back where they belong if not purchasing them. The security guard left immediately. I went back inside and confronted the security guard telling him his behaviour is disrespectful especially after watching us pay and go through the anti-theft detector. I repeatedly asked for his name and he responded with “go ahead and complain but I’m not going to give you my name! ”. I proceeded to speak to the manager and he told us next time to tell the security guard that we are just “regular costumers”. Unbelievably disrespectful. I will no longer shop at this shoppers drug mart after these many horrible experiences.

Terrible owner, wife was harassed for bringing her service dog in and could barely pick up my post op medication.

I was harassed by the store owner today when I went in to pick up my husband's post op medication with my service dog. The owner behaved aggressively and would not back off as I tried to finish my business and leave the store. This is a violation of my rights to access as a disabled person and service dog handler. She did not ask, and I was flustered and could not remember what I was supposed to say due to her behaviour which means I was unable to defend my right to access. My dog is a service dog that is required to mitigate my disability, whether or not I said that clearly or correctly enough. I expect a response from their head office ASAP.

Great experience at the store. Karishna was very helpul and helped my aunt who is disabled get supplies and other medications from the top shelfs.

I visit this place on a weekly basis. Sure it’s got its challenges as a little drug store in a pretty diverse area, but I’ve always found things I needed. It’s usually quiet. The cash checkout area could get a revamp to allow for more space.

I absolutely adore the staff here. I typically use this location just for the post office, but over time have gotten to know staff from various departments. It’s a dog friendly store as their pharmacy fills prescriptions from the vet. I bring my dog in every time, and we get treated like royalty. We usually spend ten minutes just chatting (and my dog getting treats from the wonderful beauty counter staff) and everyone saying hi. Such a great team and atmosphere.

Had a bad experience at this location last month before the Covid pandemic really took off. Sent the store management an email with feedback, no response no acknowledgment. That is fine. I get that your customers are not priority at the time.

Bad associate experience made me feel uneasy. Please train your staff better on their customer service skills.

I've always had good service from the pharmacy and the store employees. Wish it was a larger store instead of having to Uptown.

Phoned customer service here to ask if they had a certain product in stock. After waiting a while, I was transferred to a different person without notice and they told me it was in stock. On the same day, when I went there I was told they do not sell the product.

Honestly the worst shoppers I have EVER been to and I go to shoppers A LOT. All the employees are so rude and do not give you a chance to finish what you’re saying. I came in to buy a face mask that was clearly marked as clearout. It scanned in for full price so I showed the lady why the tag said and was told the price would be honoured. I had to leave to left my things on hold at the cash. Upon returning to pay for my things the item scanned in at full price and the supervisor was so rude and would not listen to what I had to say about the product being a different price. She even almost accused me of switching the price tag to pay less for the product. I’m super offended and disappointed. She said she needed to confirm with the cashier to make sure it was correctly priced. The employee came back to the fill and started acting like he didn’t know what was going on and stayed quiet when I told him what actually happened and told the supervisor it’s not fair for employees to be lying about products. He was also very rude to me when cashing out. I will not be coming to this shoppers drugmart again. The employees need to be trained with customer service skills because everyone I spoke to today just gave me attitude and tried to tell me I was wrong. I was honestly just trying to shop for some skincare products to make myself feel better and I left the store feeling like a problem.

STELLER CUSTOMER SERVICE FROM KRISTY AT THE BEAUTY BOUTIQUE! Wow, I don’t normally go out of my way to write a review unless I am thouroughly impressed, and I’m impressed I was. I've been coming to this location for years and the other blonde is always very rude, unhelpful and is clearly annoyed by simple questions. Not to mention the one who wears a ton of makeup and stalks you.super uncomfortable.
But thanks to Kristy I will no longer be going to another Shoppers, when she is there I am always treated so kindly and respectfully and I’m given genuine advice and knowledge on the products. I learn so much from her and every time I come in she approaches me in a way that shows she truely cares about providing the best customer service. This girl deserves a bonus for her hard work!

I went to buy Ice pack at health department, and their price was $11.00 difference than other shoppers. I talk to the manager and he said that they all have different price because is franchise. I thought they all should have the same price. Don't go there they are more expensive than other shopper drug mart

Every time I go this unit they charge me wrong. I learned better and I usually shop taking pictures of every item I get to make sure they are charging me the correct price.
Sometimes the cashier will come with an excuse that the price is no longer valid even if the price tag is still on their shelve. They definitely need to do a better job on making the price on the shelves and POS match.

Every time I go there, I get an impression that they value nothing less than the time of their customers. There is always shortage of staff and they don't seem to know what they're doing.

The cosmetics department is just the worst!

I signed up for a make over. The lady who signed me up was sick, coughing and sneezing, which isn't pleasant (don't you provide paid sick days for your employees?)
I come for a make over, and the person who's supposed to do that tells me that she doesn't know how! And there's nobody else who can do it.

Horrible attitude towards customers.

You guys have to change your business hours. I went to this shoppers 11: 35pm to buy infant advil for my son and found all doors locked. I knocked doors too but nobody responded. I went to another Shoppers at 6th ave New westminster and thankfully they were still open when I get there It was 11: 50pm. Please change your business hours. Don't lie to your customers. Thank you.

Had to pick up a prescription for my wife and had amazing service from the two working the pharmacy (Shiva and Wilfred). Wilfred made sure I knew everything I needed to about this prescription and even gave me his card if I had any follow up questions. Great stuff from these two.

Terrible customer service. One particular male cashier is super rude. He does not greet you, make eye contact, and just throws the receipt on the desk, instead of handing it to you.
The cosmetics department is also terrible. I guess they don't care about making sales. The girls working there act as if you're bothering them when you ask them for help.lastly, the lost prevention people are super obvious and annoying. They don't even try to be discreet. I make a lot of my purchases at shoppers since i like the optimum points, however i'll be avoiding this location at all costs in the future.

I would give this location a zero if I could. The security guards they keep hiring should be called paid stalkers by the way they follow people around the store and stare at them. Then while I was giving a complaint about being followed and made to feel uncomfortable to the supervisor the security guy came up and started mouthing off to me saying my expectations for how he should be doing his job (without alienating the customers) were "too high". This place is the worst!

Wish there was a negative star rating. The post office there has non existent customer service. Pretty sure the person behind the counter was high as well. Was told that my package was not there and to come back another day. Even though the tracking information said it was there. I was offered no assistance in finding where my delivery was or when it would arrive.

Staff are rude and the return policy is a joke. I bought a defective LED dog collar from shoppers, didn't light up. Try to exchange for another one, only got turned down by several cashiers. They said the box is opened, so it's not returnable/exchangeable. If I don't open the box, how can I know it's not working? I've been wondering why a store in such a convenient location has so few customers. Now I know why.

Some of things wrong with this shoppers store:

1) Poor Customer Service
2) Long lineups at the checkout, and they don't call for another cashier
3) If you bring your own bag, majority of the cashiers won't bag your items unless you buy a plastic bag from them, then they will bag your items. Some cashiers there do bag your items though.

Only good thing about the store are the markdowns and clearance items

I bought 2 red bull and it 2 for $3.3.the cashier did not charge for it instead she charge me $ 8.00 and she says I made mistake or stupid
I said ok I'll take one then after all when she's about give me the change back she throw it on my hand
It look like they make her work.

Hopefully they close then soon or the whole system of service change
