Security guard follows people for no reasonable cause.

One particular filipino cashier was rude on separate occasion when I told her my phone number for my points card. Somehow that offended her.

The store I usually go for my prescriptions and beauty products. Very kind and helpful stuff.

Doctor who worked the night shift totally ignored me when I was asking for help. He either deliberately ignored me or he was deaf. Nevertheless it came across as quite rude. Guy at the front helped me. But looked like he didn’t even want to be there. I get it. It’s late. Their shift is almost done. But you’re getting paid for the work. If I don’t have to come here. I would rather go elsewhere. Two stars because one of the lady who did help me at least was kind enough.

Warning to anyone who looks under 30. You WILL be followed by security. This has been my main local store, but getting followed every single time I go in is getting tiring. I have spent thousands of dollars at this location, yet every security guard treats me like a thief. I am going to start shopping elsewhere.

UPDATE: The reply from management to my review was clearly not actioned. I tried giving this place a second chance, but having security breathing down your neck makes this store UNSHOPPABLE!

Go to any other pharmacy. They had me wait around for an hour while they prepared my medication, had me leave and come back twice and it still wasn't ready. I had to go to work so they said they'd deliver but 7 hours later still nothing. They lost it. Such a joke!

Good workers and good selection of skin care products the only thing I can recommend is I noticed they often have lots of the low fat creamo in the purple box and it expires usually in a few days and since there is so much left in stock I think it should be marked down to $1 so people will buy it up faster and don't wait so close to the expiration date.

This store use to be great, now unfortunately it’s all self checkout! I will never return. Companies need to realize customers want cashiers back!

Good location, but limited parking available. Need to park on either Cambie street, 16th or at the back. All paid parking.

I would leave 0 stars if possible. Horrible experience in the beauty department. Asian lady elsa and female caucasian manager. Please check reviews before you walk into one of these stores. I thought I was the only victim till I looked at reviews. Shoppers Drug Mart you are at a big loss with the kind of people you have employed. You could be making millions more with normal people. How do you sleep at night. And these are the folks who live in our society and you see them everyday. I will never see you again for the way you behave with people. I will never forget. Worst pharmacy service ever. Just wanted to pick up my prescription and while one person was helping another customer, they were casually chatting. The other 3 workers just gossiped and chatted as I waited in line.

As other have mentioned depending on who is working staff are always either really nice or really rude. If the staff hate there job so much find a new one as MANY people would be much more appreciative to be in your position and to close or open a shift on a happy note.

In response to the note, hopefully the manager makes note of this: the particular issue I encountered is staff trying to leave earlier than their shift time and therefore rushing customers out of the store before the closing time eg: 10pm close and tell you leave at 9: 50pm. Obviously this should not be happening if the hours are until 10

They have super friendly pharmacists here who helped make the flu shots process much more comfortable for me.:)

I enjoy shopping in Cambie Shopper. Every body working in this shop are very polite. But only this morning around 10: 30am I went into the shop to buy several meat and some grocery. At that time I bought 4 bags of grocery including orange, onion, raw meat and bread. I still need to buy two bottles of soy milk and two packs of organic egg. Because my hands are full already, so I pick a bag from the grocery area in order to put the eggs and the milk in the bays. The following was what I felt so angry at that time-a white skin color man working in that area (this is the first time I saw him), he looks at me a while, at that time my two hands are full already, I can't hold two more bottles of milk and two more packs of egg. I had to use this grocery corner bag to hold those things, and then I will bought bags from the counter to gather together all the things. But this man still saying that I need to hold them by hands and can't use those bays. I told him again I need to take them to the counter to pay the money.
Finally I put back all the soy milk and the eggs in their ordinal place, because that man did not allow me to take those bags.
This is the first time I find out such a good sevice shop can hire an unpolite and also rude man in this shop.
At last I still need to buy those milk and egg, so I go to Chioces. The lady working there, seeing my hands holding so many heavy things, she offers to help me to put two packs of eggs and two packs of milk in those bags (those grocery corner bays).
Does this unpolite person should do such thing to a customer?

Terrible manners from a head supervisor woman cashier.

2020-Oct-12 Thanksgiving, I walked in while carrying a grocery bag containing a raw beef that I just purchased from nearby super market. I took a quick glance to see if an item was on sale, then walked out. As I walked out through the cashier, an old, short, dark skin, black hair, Southeast Asian woman cashier with a "head supervisor" name tag stopped me and used an insulting and snobbish tone to question if I paid for what I had in my bag. And not even an apology afteward finding out she wrongly accused.

She can question, but should be with better manner. Was on way home with good holiday mood before ruined by her unprofessionalism and rude manners.

Very professional and expeditious in all my treatments and medications Staff are polite and I recommend this location.

Is store is not well equipped for covid19. There are no markers outside the store 6' apart and none inside on the floor. People are not keeping their distance. They should be reminded by the staff to keep a distance. Markers are the floor are so important.

I’ve come here over the years and have consistently been profiled. The security follows you around like a hawk. This has happened about 4 times to me and only at this location. The lady in cosmetics tonight wouldn’t even hand me my toner and insisted she keep it behind the counter until I paid for it. So rude. I never have this issue anywhere else. Spend your money somewhere else where you will not be treated as a thief.

Pharmacy is well run by competent and pleasant people. I'd been going there over four years, they were always great. Thanks Chester!

Had an issue this morning 11-23-2019, talked to the Manager/Supervisor lady was very nice polite and helpful also she went out of her way to secure me the Call of Duty game that was not available at her store at a different store location. This was great customer service and much appreciated.

Never had a problem with this shoppers, they always have the things I need and free parking is a plus. However a few weeks ago I was in the beauty section and I was asked multiple times if I needed help finding something both by the security and the beauty associate.on the 3rd or 4th time I was asked again by the beauty associate she told me that If I am ready I should pay my items with her. This made me feel really uncomfortable and did not end up buying anything. Im a customer i'm not here to steal or anything like that and I felt as if I was being treated like so. I get that being asked once if I need any help is okay, I don't mind, but repeatedly following me and asking me is not. Really poor customer service there. The shoppers gets a 5 star but the beauty incident is why I gave 2 stars.

The worst customer service I have ever experienced. The cashiers and the supervisor cashier was rude. The entire staff is so incompetent and give you conflicting information. I had to go to the owner to get some help as the entire staff was so incompetent. When I purchased some products in the beauty store I was told I could return the items even if they are opened. When I tried to return the staff refused to take the items back. They said they don’t do that in every shoppers store. That is incorrect! The other stores I went to have been really friendly and took my product back as I was allergic to it. The cashier supervisor was rude about it and doesn’t know what she was talking about. I will never go here again!

I am unsatisfied with the service of the cashier, if you are the customer and you’ve been told that you should have prepared your card before going to the cashier, how do you feel? My 2 hands was full of groceries plus my back pack was on my painful back and that’s what I heard from cashier? How can I prepare it for you? , wow where is the customer service right there? In fact I didn’t even delayed anybody, i found my wallet in a sec, this is not the way, you should talk to your customer.

Went here to play lotto the other day and was disappointed thoroughly.

Here's what happened:

I filled out a lotto slip correctly and handed it to the cashier. She places the slip into the lotto machine and the machine immediately rejects the slip. This happened like six times. I asked to see the slip and verified that it was filled out correctly. She tried yet another time to enter the slip into the machine and the machine rejected the slip again. The cashiers reaction was to gesture at me with dissatisfaction as if it was somehow my fault. She also placed my slip back onto the counter as to gesture that she was done trying. At that point I asked her if she was serious and her answer was simply "it's not working. "

She wasn't helpful to me in this situation nor was she putting any effort into solving the problem. She didn't call for a manager or supervisor. She projected her frustration at me, the customer.

Finally, I asked for a pen and re traced the number selection as boldly as humanly possible and returned the slip to her once again. It worked, finally.

As she handed my slip and ticket back to me I mentioned that these machines need to be cleaned periodically. At this point rather than being relatable she continued to hold the look of anger on her face and she didn't comment back. My point is if someone isn't properly trained in customer service and also isn't trained to troubleshoot problems that's an issue. Additionally, who's job is it to solve those problems, mine as a Customer? No.

I will add that this is otherwise a good location, they have a good selection of products, and items go on sale frequently. Nonetheless, there are several such shops in that area and so customer service may be a deterrent here.

Terra Losa Shoppers’s Drugmart is a clean, neat and most friendly and helpful staff in all departments, in addition, you will find most of the essentials that you might require.

Great place, welcoming, decent prices and the pharmacy closes late, midnight, so really convenient.
