The consistent issues I've encountered at this pharmacy have left me frustrated and concerned. The subpar customer service has manifested in various ways, from unresponsiveness to a lack of resolution for problems. One glaring example is the repeated delivery mishaps – my medication has been mistakenly sent to another person address not once, but twice. This not only raises serious questions about their operational efficiency but also poses potential privacy and security concerns.

Moreover, the problem of overcharging has added a financial strain to an already problematic situation. Finding inaccuracies in billing is not only inconvenient but erodes trust in the pharmacy's competence.

For a service that deals with crucial matters like health and medication, these recurring issues are unacceptable. It's my hope that the pharmacy takes prompt and effective action to rectify these shortcomings, ensuring a more reliable and customer-centric experience for everyone relying on their services.

Had our evening appointments booked for COVID mRNA and Influenza vaccines here yesterday. 7: 50pm was the only time slot available when we booked right after we received the email notification. Very displeased with how they handled the appointments. Not only were they behind schedule but they also did not even have the Moderna vaccines reserved for us when we booked specifically for that online. We were only told that they just had Pfizer vaccines left when it was finally our turn. The reason given to us was that they had far too many walk-ins during the day. In my opinion it was very bad practice and morally wrong. The whole point of booking the appointments is to have the time slot and selected vaccines reserved for us when we show up for our appointments. Because of that, we had to run around quite late in the evening to see which pharmacy has Moderna vaccines. It was so frustrating and disappointing to say the least. We will never ever go back there again.

Notes to SDM Customer Care:
You may need to educate your pharmacy staff what is the right thing to do when it comes to handling customers who have appointments booked for COVID booster shots. Funny thing was when we went to a different pharmacy that evening after we left SDM. We were told that they had Moderna vaccines reserved for some individuals who had appointments but didn’t show up. As a result, we were given those unclaimed Moderna vaccines. We were so pleased with their ethics and kudos to their professionalism. An excellent example for your pharmacy team to learn from.

My mood was marred this morning because of the service of the store employee Zoey Cho who works in the cosmetics department. Because the system does not have an option to put zero stars for her customer service I decided to provide my feedback in writing.
She did not show any skill and understanding in communication with the clients. During the payment she dropped several purchased items on the floor and even after she saw that I was very upset by her service she didn’t try to apologize and did not attempt to correct the situation by doing something nice for the customer. As a result, the hairspray cap was broken and cannot close. Unfortunately, I only noticed this at home and didn’t have time to go back to the store. Then I asked her if she could give me some samples of a new cream but she replied that I was not eligible because I didn’t buy any creams today despite my purchase was $120 for haircare and another female products.
May I say that this was a good service? I have never experienced such service and attitude in another similar store in Metrotown mall which staff is always very friendly and welcoming to customers. I am really disappointed and made a decision to avoid visiting your store in future.

The caucasian lady in cosmetic section was absolutely rude and horrifying. I was trying a perfume on my hand that she started shouting that I need to ask her. Like why? The perfume is right there. Why would I ask you? And if I had to ask you, couldn’t you be a human being and not yell? What kind of a professional behaviour this is? I don’t like to shop there anymore.

I’ve been to different pharmacy locations and I never encounter a rude pharmacist. She is unprofessional and I believe she needs to go back to school to learn more about human relations skills and be more professional when it comes to dealing with patients. I came to this location to get my prescription. I showed her (co worker) my prescription and I was mis directed. I waited half an hour for nothing. I was disappointed, I patiently waited standing in a very short line up like one person ahead of me. I am pregnant with my toddler with me. I understand the guy pharmacist who looks like new in the job, who mis directed and instructed me that I can pick it Up without waiting for half an hour.but still I waited anyway for half an hour for nothing, and charged me even I have a voucher and insurance. I know he was trying to help me,

Used to be good. But since 90% of the old staff all left at the same time. (Why that happened. U can guess) now they just have all new unqualified staff at the pharmacy that dont speak english and working alone due to short staff. You can guess. What could happened when you need meds from there. Do not go there. You will put yourself in danger. Or worst. Your family. All that after you wanted 2 hours because he was too busy finding something or pretend he is finding something to hope you guys just leave after an hour. No work. No mistake. Guess its better when he does that. Than trying to understand what you need and looking for things for an hour and end up giving you the wrong thing. And when you told him its not it. Ok could not check out from a self serve register with anything that's marked clearance. And waited for longer than 10 mins to find that out from a stock person. As the call button didn't work. Why not only have clearance right at the cashiers with a sign noting that they need to be scanned by a cashier. And having staff tell me that I need to wait again in another line up.yeah how to make me not go

The blonde girl from cosmetic made me feel very uncomfortable today. Spying on me from behind, watching like I was going to steal something. Too bad because I have had a very good experience before. Never going back.

Indian dude came whistling and having fun putting some labels next to me. I asked him if this is all they had for sandwich meat. He said "I don't have anything! ". Then he waved his hands and said all we have is this. I laughed. Customer service in Vancouver is dead. When I worked in customer service, I gave far better service than that.

Avoid the beauty boutique in this store. Store staff doesnt accept return, but they confirmed return when I purchased!

For baby products and medicine is excellent.
For beauty products is not bad but expensive.
Waiting time of pharmacy is not less than 30 minutes when you have a prescription.
Some items at this store are usually 2 -4 $ more than amazon or Walmart.

I have never been treated so poorly going to shoppers. Everyone is so sweet usually. I have worked multiple retail stores so I understand the policies around theft. I came in from shopping at a cookware warehouse (where they left the security tag on and did not take off) this was called a tweezerman eyelash curler marked as $9.99 on a small white sticker. My boyfriend walked in before me to get me medication - my heart was really weak and I have breathing problems. So I was trailing behind him. I wanted to follow to just walk around to follow him. I walked into the entrance, stopped at the door and the alarm started to beep. I then stopped and looked at the security guard, very puzzled I then looked in my purse and realized that the curler was the reason! I let him know very politely and told him I got this at another store, it was a warehouse so they don’t take off the tags. I even took it out to show him because I wanted to show that I can cooperate. The warehouse is in aberdeen Richmond. This lady, named Jenny. Came up and attacked me with accusations. I couldn’t say anything because I really was so amazed with her demeanour. I was so incredibly disappointed in the way she treated me. I then explained but kept getting interrupted. She kept on saying “show me” “show me” and kept coming forward almost trying to push me into the wall. My heart started to feel so tight I told her yes I have a receipt and my boyfriend had it, I need to call him because he is in the pharmacy area. She then screamed across the store “HER BOYFRIEND IS COMING”. I wanted to faint because I was so sad to see her behaviour- I hope other customers don’t have to interact with her and this attitude she has. I really hope no one does. My boyfriend came over with the receipt and showed her all the details and she grabbed the curler out if his hands and screamed at us saying she will not disarm the tag- but keep in mind and shoppers can pull the security footage to listen to the conversation that we never asked anyone to disarm anything. I recorded this conversation in my purse. We politely showed the product and receipt- but did not get anything but constant yelling and no apology. I stopped breathing and almost collapsed because of this. There are many ways you can approach a customer, especially when they cooperate with the associates in store. If they do not then I would understand. My heart could’ve given out at shoppers because of this Jenny. I hope shoppers can pull up this footage to see and so they can see that this is a liability. This isn't made up Shoppers and you guys can pull it up with your cameras to see.

Jenny (the Chinese lady) at the beauty boutique deserves way more than a 5 star for her exceptional customer service. I bought a few beauty products and after I paid she realized that my 20x the points didn't go through. Before I even said anything, she immediately offered to help me fix this problem. My phone was also about to die and I needed it to load my PC card, so she EVEN OFFERED to charge my phone for me! At the same time, I realized that I bought a wrong item and she helped me do a return right away. I felt bad that she had to help me with so many issues, but she was like " no need to be sorry, it is okay! " She is such a kind lady! Thank you Jenny for going above and beyond! 10000000+ stars!

I was served twice by one of the cashier employees named Jonathan. He was friendly, courteous and provided exceptional customer service! I could tell he enjoyed his job and was helpful, when I forgot two items. I was very happy to have spent my Shoppers Gift card at this wonderful location.

My wife went to pick up medication for my son and pharmacy told my wife our company insurance already expired, my wife called me, I texted my copy of my card to them which is the same as my wife. This was very embarrassing and concerning. I then to explain to the pharmacy staff on the phone I still work for the same company and if this is not resolved I will just take it to another place, they told me and my wife to wait. At the end they found out they TYPED the wrong number on the their terminal, it was not our fault. There was no apology for the embarrassing situation. This was not ver good customer service.

Worst cosmetic department service. Abysmal. Asked for Effaclar serum from the La Roche Posay brand and instead the staff kept on rudely insisting the acne spot treatment is the serum. Zero sense of the most basic training in cosmetics. How they manage to hire such incompetent people is beyond me. Just get rid of staff in this department and save yourself the pay cheques.

In this time when Canada Post is losing tons of business due to Amazon and a new way of living, one would think that they put effort to fight for every customer. But not, obviously. We have tried twice in two days to mail small calendar from the post office at 4827 Kingsway Shoppers Drug Mart, still unsuccessful. And not only they have no supplies to work with, they are unhelpful and rude to customers. So, if you absolutely need to use post services, there is another Shoppers just few blocks away at Old Orchard mall: great service, fully supplied.

Also: Shoppers Drug Mart at 4827 Kingsway - when I get in there to mail my calendar yesterday, I ended up purchasing things in your store. So it works for you too. But if I have to go to another post office, I will also shop there. Yes, they are independent business, but they are in your store and you could encourage them to do better job. Until then, I will skip using Shoppers Drug Mart on 4827 Kingsway, both post office and the store.

Picture is of the empty (unstocked) wall of envelopes, one hour after opening. Louis (the representaive) was extreemely unhelpful, dissmisive, not offering any sugestions or solutions, very unprofessional and bad busines. He told us that there is no manager nor supervisor on that day (and the manager name is "Jackie Chan" which we do not know if it is true or not but from his behaviour we understood that there is not point in complaining to them either).

Wasted my time and paid parking only to find out this location does not accept printed coupons from the internet, even if they are original prints from reputable coupon sites like smartsource.ca and websaver.ca. Company policy clearly states internet coupons are accepted, but individual stores can choose not to abide by it. Really dislike that corporate policy and store policy are able to be inconsistent like this. I went to another Burnaby Shoppers (that has free parking to boot) and they accepted my coupon with zero problems. I will no longer shop at this location. Prefer to keep my business with stores that are aligned with their company policy. One star given just because the staff were nice about it.

I asked them to pull over my prescription from another location and they were so helpful. They took down all my information and did it with no problem. They even called me back to confirm the quantity I wanted and to double check the spelling of my name within 20min. Had my prescription ready in an hour! Great customer service!

Complain on Post Office staff in 4827 Kingsway - He weighed and measured my package and gave me a quote of $39 standard shipping. I said 3,4 times that the lady that quoted me $24 in the same shoppers a couple of days ago and I also said he should measure the box which I put in a large thin plastic bag. He did not reply and blow his nose "Hm" the last time. Did not double check.

I went to another Shopper drug mart and they charge me correctly for $25.

I am very mad at his attitude. He ignore what I said about the wrong price quote. He don't even know to to measure correctly.clients would pay a lot more if they have not get a quote from somewhere else!

If you let customers wait for 25 mins from your fault, you should at least say sorry.
Jenny was not helpful at all and rather rude.

The beauty manager lied on me about the return policy. She told me that there store has a limit for over $400 returning, they can only exchange, totally wasting my time.when I call the store and ask other manager and also shoppers online customer service, they never had this policy before. Just she does not wanna lose any commission. I don't post you name this time, but I will tell my friend never go there for shopping. Do not forget the Racial discrimination happed in your store.

What's the point of having a phone at the post office if no one ever picks it up? The last three times I've phoned I've been left on hold for at least 10 minutes only managing to reach the pharmacy and being told that there is a long line at the post office. I can understand that sometimes it may be busier than others but this is an absolute joke! Spending up to 30 minutes on hold and being told to call back later just to be stuck in the same loop is unacceptable! Maybe try hiring some more staff if it's always so busy? Useless post office avoid if at all possible.

Clean and light shopping floor. Shopping space is a bit crowded. Price is good with discounts or on sales. Employees' attitude is just ok. Check out speed is normal. Credit cards accepted. Street temporary parking available. Metrotown shopping mall located across street. No public restrooms available.

All staff in post office-so rude I hate to go there but I don’t have a choice because all mine big packages goes there. There is one woman who never tells you hello, you are welcome, or even thank you! Also she speaks in her language in front of you, and you dont know whether she talks about you or not! Know sometimes you have bad days but you don’t need to put everything on customers!

I walk in and right off the bat three works start following me and the older lady has mean look and kept shaking her head like I was a problem for being there I asked them what's going why do you follow me is anything wrong she snaps and we here to serve and then shakes her head at another worker then crosses her arm glaring at me so I leave and get the stuff I needed to buy and paid for and leave like wow not a nice store at all then there's a line up 8 to 10 customers and none of the others workers come to help such a bad experience coming to this store I've heard bunch of complaints from other customers but me I gave them the benefit of the doubt but now this place lost my business never go to this store

Pharmacist was kind but it took 40 minutes to get my medicine. Also I came with 3 drug prescriptions and they only had 1. If you are very sick and need medicines ASAP do not go to this store.

I will never come to this location again. I am of color and I usually come to shoppers and spend lots of money everytime I shop. I was paying for my things not sure if the LPO told the security guard to watch while I paid for things but I felt very embarrassed as there was a line behind me and my boyfriend. He never watched anyone else except us he literally was like 6 feet away staring at us.

When I went to the pharmacy today, there was only one person working and it was really busy. However, staff was still very friendly and fast considering how many customers were waiting for her. Would recommend this place.

Majority of the staff there are super helpful and friendly, they have amazing service which is why I often drop by at this location for my shopping needs. After numerous experiences with one of the cashiers (Shailya) to be specific, consistent attitude for no reason and throwing my items in the bag? After the first couple negative experiences I let it pass, but after today I am by far annoyed. Please train your staff on customer service and how to speak and treat your customers,

Didnt have what I wanted. Since closure of Safeway choices have changed. Wholesale isnt quality in bread. Would hate to go to mall just to get good bread. Its choices!
