I might have just been really hungry, but the spicy papaya salad was EXACTLY what I wanted that day.

Big portions, and friendly staff. Restrooms are clean. Food is great, we love the pineapple friend rice and tom kha gai, medium spicy level is great. But my husband wanted more spice, and ask the server for chili oil, turns out theres 3 options. And he loved the sambal.

We stepped in one hour before closing to find two tables with boisterous Thai customers-we don't speak it but can i.d. The language. Always a good sign. Massaman curry is above average. Tom Yum soup is good but as ASEAN expats we should have asked for Spicy instead of Medium. Green curry is typical of North American style, with bamboo shoots and peas. The real deal has Thai eggplants & other ingredients, but you can't fault that. On the whole a great place for Thai on Vic island.

We Order the vegetarian Pad Thai - TWICE! Loved it that much! The tofu, egg, sprouts, carrots and peanuts, were so tasty!

We ordered deep fried pork with rice and chicken spring rolls. The deep fried pork was cold. The spring rolls had no chicken. Staff was friendly with though.

One of my favorite places downtown to pop in for lunch. The chicken Pad Thai is delicious!

Ordered 2 Pad Thai and spring rolls for $55.00 and I’m missing an entire order of Pad Thai. They refused to send another driver so I could have my dinner. Will NEVER order here again. Girl on the phone was rude also

Nice cozy place in Downtown Victoria that happened to be open during a snowstorm. They were about to open in 20 minutes, we asked if we could sit inside till they opened and they were kind enough to let us in.
We ordered some Spring Rolls to share, fish curry with bamboo shoots and beef dish from their Chef Specials. Spring rolls were huge and delicious and the fish curry was probably the best I've ever had. Beef dish was like a 7/10. Highly recommend ordering some rice with the fish curry.
The staff is very friendly. We enjoyed our experience a lot!

Great portion, good service. If you want to try authentic thai taste, you can make a request and they can make it for you.

I ate here last night. I found the staff to be beyond amazing people that will ensure you have an authentic Thai meal. I have been to Thailand and this place would be considered excellent in every way. The food can be as spicy as you like with 3 levels of spice, and a fourth "Thai Hot" options as well (bring a fire extinguisher).

One of my favourite Thai restaurants. It’s worth a trip to Victoria to eat here. Consistently good.

Pad Thai was great. The other dishes we had were very good, but I've had better. Still enjoyed the meal though. Love Thai flavors!

Great tasting food at excellent prices.
Ordered the Pad See Ew, it was fresh, vibrant and punchy with flavour. This dish often suffers from being one-dimensional and oily, but this was certainly not the case here!
The service wasn't anything amazing, but was polite and efficient. It's a shame that the mango sticky rice dessert was sold out on the day I was dining.
Definitely a spot I will return to!

This restaurant is the best Thai restaurant that I've ever visited. I recommend that you try Pad Thai because it's really tasty. I will be keep visiting this restaurant to eat more Thai food.

Pretty authentic Thai food. Green curry was excellent and when my father in law ordered a dish witb pork neck the waitress came back and advised us that most westerners don't like that cut of meat because it's very fatty.which I thought was honest and well approached. He changed to a beef dish and all was good after that. Pretty sure it's a family business because they were very interested in making sure we were happy with our food.

This was our first time going there and our last time. First of all it took them forever to come take our order the restaurant was empty second of all they messed up our order third of all we asked for white rice and it never came they even tried to charge us for it. The food wasn't that good the beef was overcooked in my opinion. I don't recommend

Food was delicious! However, the deep fried banana has the wrong batter and is also deep fried with other foods, so it taste like halibut. I would also recommend adding chocolate. Service good.

Ordered the fried calamari, chicken curry and chicken fried rice lunch specials.
Quantity was perfect, taste exquisite and service was good. They didn’t have all the beers but the food more than supplemented the shortcoming.
Recommend to all craving amazing Thai food in an original authentic ambience near Wharf Street!

Got the pad ki mao. This was spicy and tasty. My wife got the chicken skewers, which was excellent.

Was in town from the mainland for a day trip. I wanted to support a small local business that was either Thai or Vietnamese. I found this place randomly walking down from the tourist area (Government street). I'm pretty sure this place is family-run.

I had the $15 "Chicken & Noodles" Lunch special. We got there shortly before 1pm and had a few other people inside and same with when we left. It may have been busier closer to 11: 30/12. We were in and out in ~45 mins.

The rice noodles, chopped bell peppers, & carrots seemed kinda oily. This was my first time having Thai food so am not sure if that's normal. We don't cook with much oil at all. So, it's probably just standard.

The deep-fried spring roll your lunch special dish comes with had potato (I think?) & some kind of stringy vegetable in it, & it came with a small dixie cup sweet and sour sauce for dipping if you like.

The chicken was perfectly fine for me. It was diced (a mixture of chunks and stringy pieces) & mixed into the rice noodles & vegetables. For my personal preference, it could've used way more bean sprouts (like at least 25% bean sprout/75% noodles & veg.) But bean sprouts probably cost a lot right now, as does everything!

My lunch special was enough for 2 meals, for me personally. I got a to-go box & had the other 1/2 for dinner.

The short woman server with black hair was extremely polite & brought us waters right away without us even needing to ask.:)

The bathrooms were good. No issues there. If anyone has mobility issues, the floor tilts down a bit in the bathroom, so just keep that in mind. But the faucets give you a great amount of water and not just low pressure almost drops like in mall bathrooms.lol.

I personally liked the darker ambiance. It may not be your thing, but to each their own. The decor was obviously Thai as well.

Amazing! Anyone who's left less than 5* doesn't know what they're talking about. I've been to Thailand twice on my travels and the vibe is authentic and the food is so so so good.

The meal was great and the staff are very friendly and accommodating. We showed up somewhat close to closing time and they agreed to take us in.

I've ordered takeout twice now and it's very good! When looking at the prices they do seem high but they don't add extra charges for meat AND the portions are very generous, so it's appropriate. I can get two meals out of one serving. They also offer a range of gluten free options - very nice. I've tried a few Thai places around the city and this is easily the best.

Very tasty but there was a piece of red pepper that had a grocery sticker on it… maybe lacking attention to detail?

Worth a visit, takeout or an online order. Located 1/2 block from Wharf Street at the foot of Fort Street, the Siam Thai Restaurant has a very nice ambiance, lots of wood and good spacing for COVID protocols, and friendly staff. Service is fast and menu is pretty straightforward.

I had the Chicken Spring Rolls (2 for $7.95), Tom Yum Talay (Seafood Hot and Sour Soup $11.95) and Cranberry Juice (refreshing! $3.95).

The Spring Roll appetizer good, the Tom Yum Talay tasty. I'd recommend adding steam rice, would have made the soup awesome! This soup really hit the spot on a rainy, overcast day in downtown Victoria.

There are just a bunch of vegan options here but the ones we've tried are pretty amazing. The veggie tom kah is a vibrantly flavoured coconut soup with lemon grass. The veggie red curry is possibly the best in town. The veggie spring rolls are awesome, too.

I have been here for 6 years in a row now with my team and it accommodates all 20+ of us every time! Really good food with large amounts!

Food was good. But service fell well short. It was a busy Saturday night. The main course took over 90 mins to arrive and that only happened after I forcefully asked where It was. They clearly had insufficient wait staff and kitchen staff to deal with a full restaurant. Wait staff were apologetic but unable to deliver. Overall experience was poor.

This place is AMAZING, great food and awesome staff, they are so friendly it's just like being in Thailand! Never having had thai iced tea before, i had to give it a try and it was SO WORTH IT so in highly recommend it and their curries!

Ordered the orange beef, online it was just beef and crispy. Not what I got, all veggies and 5 pieces of soggy beef. Was told the online ordering company misrepresented the final product. No refund and had to go to an atm cause cash was only accepted when I picked up due to the seperate online company. Not happy. The pad thai.great but will go somewhere else to not deal with the false advertising.

I've been back for the pad thai lunch special many times. Servers are nice and portions are fair. Obviously good enough that I'm a repeat customer.
