Sicamous Public Beach

Very beautiful beach! Had a dock and lots of sand. Had a free parking lot beside the beach.

Great park with playground, concession stand, family washrooms, splash park, sandy beach, live music on through the summer w/ beer gardens, volley ball nets and large fields. There's plenty of parking at the back and the boat launch at the front.
Also walking distance to downtown Sicamous.
Nearby the beach you can find boat rentals too. This place has it all.

Located half way between Calgary and Vancouver.

Loved the beach!
Short shoreline but the sand was good.
Not busy on a Tuesday

The beach was empty and the water was warm, gave us the wonderful opportunity for a sunset swim:)

A small sand beach (depending on water levels) but it is close to downtown and has a grassy area with trees, a small spray park and playground nearby.
The park is clean, plenty of garbage cans, and there are washrooms close to the water.
There are two floating docks inside the roped off swim area but the water can get deep enough to send out a good cannonball.
Next to the boat launch and a rental shack.
Two different spots to park your vehicle, one by the water, the other parking lot is "behind" the park.

What a good good place to stop for a swim and a break. Not far off the road has clean restrooms and nice beach to chill on.

Beautiful beach, safely roped off and lots of families! My family are here from the UK.we sat on a bench in the sun, it was heavenly!

The water was too high to really appreciate the destination, but it was still a cute place to stop and relax during our road trip. Would love to see it again.

It's a beautiful sand beach with a stunning view, it was calm as it was a weekday, not sure how it's been busy weekends.

So you hate algae blooms that affect large swaths of Shuswap lake? Well then Sicamous public beach is the place for you! Not only is the sand so nice, there is a beautiful park right behind the beach. If you don't like trains however you may not want to go here. I still give it five stars regardless, it's that awesome!

Not the smoke from wild fires, but all the 50+ motorized boats including noisey speed boats on the lake made breathing fresh air impossible could be a real nice beach without all that pollution

Reasonable public beach right downtown. Lots of coming and going with the marina traffic and the train tracks - kids quite enjoyed.

Soft sand that glitters like gold, really fun little beach right next to active train line with rotating bridge and tons of cool boats and house boats, 2 docks, kids play areas and water spay area.

Well enjoyed by the kids. The free life jacket borrowing station was wonderful. Clean and fun. The floating docks were great too!

Good beach. A bit noisy as the rail way goes right there but overall it was a nice day for our family on the beach. Both kids loved it although we didn't even use the spray park that is next to it.

Local music in the park is awesome. The viewhs are breath taking. Great post card material.best fishing. Water skiing. Tubbing.or hanging on the lake on a boat. Boathouse capital of Canada. Great cabin renting through out summer.

This is a great little beach! My kids love swimming out to the doc and jumping off. The sand is pretty soft and clean. The water was really warm when we were there in August. There's also a nice grassy area with picnic tables, a playground, a splash park and public washrooms.

Great family beach and park area to soak up the sun and relax and the marina close by for rentals. The beach is quite small though and lacks a variety of food vendors as well as easily accessible washrooms.

Lots of things to do for my granddaughter and the area is kept very clean. I was pretty impressed with the whole experience in Sicamous.

Parking can be tough, close to a lot of shops. Good little splash park and playground. The sand on the beach is very good

Quiet and nice sand. Not many rocks so it's nice walking in to the water.the only negative is the train that rumbles by every so often.

I have never even heard of sicamous. But I have returned to it two years in around just for its beauty and sparkling sand. Such a beautiful little town.

Tucked away between the mountains- gorgeous view. We will definitely be making this a stop of ours on our way back home to Calgary.

After fueling up we stopped at this little beach to cool off. Lots of people where here watching the sunset. We swam. The water was beautiful and not to far out of the way if you were travelling. Great amenities for kids. Roped of swimming area and play structure. Not to far to walk. There were some steps from where we parked. Just lovely.

Beautiful view, clean water that sparkles with fools gold. Not a large beach but nice and sandy. Spray park for the kids. Two different parking lots, one at each end. Only downside I found had nothing to do with the park.people.please! Please! Pick up after your dogs!
