I had my whale watching experienced cancelled and was never informed. Scheduled for 1: 30pm, I was there and waiting. Another couple was also there waiting, they called both numbers given to us and finally at about 2: 00 pm somebody finally answered and said it was cancelled. I had given both my email and phone number when paying, yet no effort was made to reach me beforehand. I had a good experience here before but getting ghosted when I paid like $170 for each ticket leaves quite the sour taste in my mouth. If I had been contacted, I would’ve been able to maybe come back the next day, I would’ve been able to make plans to replace the whale watching, but instead I simply got ghosted. Never did have anybody reach out in anyway to see if I wanted to reschedule, just eventually an email saying it was cancelled and I would get refunded. I received this email at 3 pm, an hour and a half after it was supposed to start. Really really disappointed. Unless you have a large group, I would highly recommend just going with one of the other options.

Awesome experience with our Captain, Adrian! Great customer service from the booking office, and we really enjoyed all of the fun facts about the area and the types of whales and orcas that inhabit it!

A great experience. The group wasn't too big and the guide provided us with a lot of interesting information. A sufficiently large distance to the whales was also kept so as not to disturb them.

Great experience. Worth the money, as saw a pod of orcas. Even without the whales it was a pleasant way to spent 3+ hours. The guide went to a great deal of trouble to get to the whales even though it meant going over time and him cutting into his lunch time. He also didn’t rush us when we were viewing the whales.

We had so much fun watching the whales, goats and birds. I particularly enjoyed the speed boat riding I would recommend the 5pm trip. The sunset was incredibly beautiful on the water. Our guide Ryan was very knowledgeable.

Had the best experience with Sidney Whale Watching! Took a tour midday on Aug 24 (2023) and had Adrian as our guide. Not only was he great at navigating us so close to a pod of orcas, but you could tell from his facts and stories that he too is a huge fan of these amazing animals himself. The small boat fits 12 people and all were so courteous and happy. Overall I think everyone had an unforgettable day and I would absolutely book again!

We hung out with a pod of 4 transient whales off James Island for an hour before heading to see "Cormorant Condo" Island and Snyder Island!

Our afternoon whale watching was amazing! We got to see not only orcas, but various other wildlife in their natural habitat - I would definitely recommend booking this experience.
A large part of this trip was made even better thanks to our wonderful guide Adrian - he was super knowledgeable, educational, and kept things fun!

We had a great tour. Perfectly organized with lots of interesting information about the animal world. We saw orcas, bald eagles, seals and many other animals.

Loved the trip! We saw orcas and humpbacks, and got views of the islands at sunset which were beautiful. It was also really nice because the zodiac was not packed and had plenty of room to move around. Adrian was a fun and knowledgeable guide. He answered all our questions and you could tell he is passionate about marine life. I learned so much today, thank you! Would totally recommend this place.

We had a wonderful time whale watching with Sidney WW! Captain Orion was so knowledgeable, and we saw so much wild life including orcas. We highly recommend Sidney Whale Watching!

We were in awe of the wildlife we saw on this tour. Adrian was our skipper and guide and was very knowledgeable about the wildlife we encountered. Was a bit disappointed we didn’t to see a humpback whale which I was really hoping for, but we got to see orcas (don’t think you’ll get up close - the whales are in the distance to protect them), and seal mums with their pups which were super cute. Note to people booking: We had booked separate bookings with our family which we hadn’t seen for a long many years and ended up being separated on two boats which was very disappointing especially for our daughter, so if you want to be in a group you should book all together. Also if you have kids, best to bring your own waterproofs because they don’t really have the right protective gear (for warmth) for children apart from the life jacket and some ill-fitting waterproofs. Also got the feeling the best tours would be in the evening as the wildlife probably surface more but that’s just a hunch from the information we were given. All in all a wonderful experience though which I recommended.

Fantastic time spent with Orion who was so informative and went out of his way to show us the orcas, a humpback whale, seals.even stopping on our way back as he eagley eyed a deer near the shore, baby seal and a bald Eagle.
We highly recommend the Zodiac boat, nippy but safe.

Had a lovely experience with this whale watching company!
Our capitan was a marine biologist and knew well kind of everything about the marine life in this area.
The boat trip itself was very comfortable and ofcourse we saw whales.

Fantastic few hours spent Whale watching, Orion the tour guide was great, very knowledgeable and gave us the best tour, we got to see Orcas pods which were amazing and breeching.
We also got to see other wildlife on the surrounding islands, won’t spoil the fun, you need to go and see for yourselves, we have been on other tours in Victoria this one in Sidney is by far the best! Thank you

What an amazing experience. Orion was extremely knowledgeable and friendly. We saw a group of transient killer whales, a humpback whale, propose, seals, bald eagles, and even a deer on the side of an island. Orion has an amazing eye for wildlife. Our visiting guests absolutely loved it and we will definitely be back for our four trip out with you guys very soon!

We had a very nice tour, the boat is small but you are very close. The skipper was very nice and always had everything under control. He even stayed out with us an hour longer because we had spotted orcas. This is exactly how a whale watching trip should be!

The tour was great. They make every effort in making sure you have a solid whale watching experience. Really appreciated the stops along the way for deals seals, sea lions and eagles.
