Silver Dragon Chinese Restaurant

Had Chicken chow mien and Sweet and Sour Spare Ribs. Taste was terrible. Spare Ribs were soggy. Only thing okay was the soup.

We went there thinking it was going to be a decent place as we have done take out from here but when we got there we got our food had little to choose form it was far from fresh and we had to get drinks from a 2L and small plastic kids cups

We still like this place for take-out. Seems the food is a little bland compared to our last take-out, not sure why. Western style Chinese with easy pick-up, and easy parking.

Ordered two chicken dishes costing $38.
They ran out of mixed veges n cut up stems of broccoli which was hard n chewy!
Total grams of chicken was 250 grams for both orders. I paid $38, and it’s a shame n will never return nor recommend. ️
No wonder it’s always empty!

They were very busy with orders. Not to busy in the restaurant. They now have buffet on Sundays.

We ordered, sweet and sour soup, sweet and sour pork, ginger beef, two different rices spending 96$ on skip the dishes. It was so awful, I actually threw it out this morning. There’s no one I could even share it with because the quality was so bad!

Ordered through skip the dishes. Got a message that needed more time. Food arrived and they forgot our sweet and sour Pork. Call and was told they are very busy! And if we order again we will get a free order! So. Basically we had a plate of salty greasy food! Egg rolls were battered and greasy. Filling was mush! Awful is the only way I can describe this meal!

BEST YET by far. Good service, good price, grrrreat food. We ordered SD special Chop Suey, Singapore style curry chow mein, Szechuan green beans with pork. All three dishes were Exactly what we have been looking for, wanted. The Chop Suey 10/10, Singapore chow mein, and beans 9/10. This Will Be Our Place. FABULOUS. Tim, Cathy House, White Rock.

Sweet and sour pork is maybe the worst ive had in my life, I had better in favelas of Rio no cap.

Best crispy Almond Chicken ever and it was delivered! Dry Garlic ribs are delish, I cant wait to try the rest of the menu!

Ordered mushroom fried rice, seafood crispy chowmein and prawns with black bean sauce. The rice was ok but the chowmein was lumpy, clumped together and cold in some spots. NO taste. The black bean sauce was separating. Total waste of money.

First time and it was awesome! Fresh noodle and rice. Shocked at low star reviews. Gave it a shot and wayy better than any other chinese food place in the white rock area that I've been too.

I got pick up one time, usually delivered.

I love old school Chinese. The Almond Chicken and Beef Rice Noodle are amongst the best ever.

Quick and reasonably priced.

I love this place. Best Chinese food in White Rock. Tried several others but just not the same so always keep coming back. Love the hand made egg rolls.

I receive personalized, friendly service from May. The food is always great and is always on time. This restaurant took a hit with Covid and now major construction nearby. I proudly frequent Silver Dragon because the make excellent food and the owners are wonderful, hard working people.

I don’t believe I have ever rated a restaurant before but our experience this evening was so disappointing that I am taking the time to put it in writing. I had often wondered about this restaurant due to its proximity to the parking lot of Coast Capital Playhouse. So I suggested to my friend that we park our cars and walk over for a meal before the performance. We had the dinner for two and it was the worst Chinese food I’ve ever eaten. I am always up for taking leftovers home but not tonight. The waitress was pleasant but the people who could have been the owners were very annoying, sitting near our table and playing programs or something aloud on their phones. I couldn’t hear my friend properly. Also, the female spoke in an extremely loud voice on the phone and when dealing with customers picking up their orders. The place is big and was nearly empty yet her voice drowned out my friend’s from the far end of the room.
