Silver Streak is one of the last locally owned small businesses in sooke that employ 20 - 30 sooke residents. They build an amazing product that can be found in all areas of the globe. Sometimes they have something funny to read on their road sign too #supportlocal #madeincanada

All these clumped 1-star reviews are coming from a small, petty mob of people who have never had dealings with the business nor own a Silver Streak. This small, triggered group of people are upset about a road sign that was meant to be funny. Looks like all the good reviews are from actual customers that know what’s up! Go, Silver Streak! Been around for 35+ years supporting this community and building beautiful boats. Keep it up!

If I could give 0 stars I would. This company promotes hate and transphopia. They have a sign up on the main road that is absolutely disgusting. Our community will not tolerate this bigotry.

It's a shame that one can't just build a quality product and leave their disgusting views to themselves. By actively broadcasting this pathetic attempt at a 'joke', the owners are actively inviting criticism. If you can't take the heat, get out of the fire.

I've got no time for people who don't understand the harm their 'jokes' can cause.

Once again the team at Silver Streak have gone the extra mile.

Unfortunately a careless boater caused some damage to our Silver Streak boat, which we use as our sole source of transport to our remote home.

They worked on our boat, even though they already had a full workload, and had her fixed and back in the water in less than a week!

The work ethic and quality is excellent. From service, parts, accounting and management…a seamless end to end service delivery.

The owner of this business posts large public signs encouraging mocking minority groups and other strange conspiracy theories. There are lots of other great boat shops. Take your money elsewhere.

We need less hatred and ignorance in this world and unfortunately this business displays a sign of open transphobia for everyone to see. No thank you Silver Streak. You are causing harm to local people, including children, whether you believe it or not.
