Great location, with several other entertainment options right beside it. The cinema halls are clean, well maintained and the seats are very comfortable. I normally go to the Ultra AVX cinema and generally book the Dbox seats, which are fantastic. The arcade is fun if you get there early, or if you want to stay after the movies and have more fun. The concession folks are friendly. I have visited it so many times, and have never had a bad experience.

Lots of parking great theater and bowling alley behind is extra to have there to knock few pins down after or before the movie

I saw so many low rated reviews about this cinema and I started regret that bought tickets. But reality appears fine. Staff selling popcorn isn't friendly, but the rest is ok: seats comfortable, Imax screen is fine, washroom smells fine. Of course its not the newest building, but not as bad. At Wednesday evening on Marvel's was only 2 other couples besides us. Might be back, as it only one Imax close to Vancouver.

We came on a hot day and the IMAX Ac was really weak. During one of the blockbuster movies the seating was really full so it was not easy to adjust to the warm inside. Where did the old cold cinemas go?

I went here to watch MI dead reckoning in IMAX. The movie experience was good and I wouldn’t say its amazing beacause the seats are small.

Cheap movies. Because of COVID-19, playing older classics (Jaws, Karate Kid, Batman, Jurassic Park and many others). Great to see them again. Has been pretty quiet each time I have gone. People scared to go I guess. Have seen 3 movies within 8 days. All different sized popcorns have costed more than each of my movies. Raised their prices at the concession stands. Just need to show more of the old horror movie classics (The Shining, Halloween movies, Nightmare On Elm Street movies, Exorcist movies, Chucky movies, etc.) Would be cool to see some 3D movies. Would pay a couple more dollars to see those. Would love to see Titanic 3D again.

Great location and friendly staff! Went in at 12PM to see train to busan: peninsula expecting to be lots of people on Tuesday specifically but the theater was super empty due to COVID restrictions.not too many people inside the auditorium and everyone was well spaced out.online ticketing was very simple and fast.overall, an amazing experience since it was our first time seeing a movie in cineplex after some restrictions have been lifted.would love to go back again!

The movies are great at this location but the movie stopped once when watching a movie called Midway. They gave me a voucher for two free deluxe movies with a bigger screen and better options for food and alcoholic drinks. Thumbs up!

This review is for the Met Opera Series.

I go to movies all the time and don't usually have any problem finding my movie and buying tickets. I would give 5 stars for the theatres.
This time, though I wanted to find out about the opera series. It was such a frustrating experience.
I thought it would be a simple thing to go to the website with a search for "Cineplex Burnaby opera". No. It mentioned $150 Met Opera members?
I would look up "events", then have to choose the theatre, then the Province. Then I'd have to scroll down to find the opera performance.
I was sent around in circles - it was so frustrating.
Perhaps you need a genre search. I could have looked up "opera" or "action", "romance", "comedy", "drama", or any other genre, which would bring up a screen with those movies.

Movie after covid -19 was such a wonderful experience. I have been to this cinema many times but after covid it was different. First of all it has never been so quite and secluded before.
But in spite of less people outside, friendly and helpfull staff made you feel welcome.

Extreme cleaning practices were in place. There were only 10-12 people in the theatre hall seated more scattered then required distance.

No popcorn butter or condiments available but most importantly ticket was just $5.00 n on tuesday it is just $2.89

Theaters are always clean and well maintained. Arcade is typically always full functioning. Service is fast regardless of lines. Atmosphere is great for all ages

Was a good experience. Short lineup to walk up to. Short lineup for popcorn and a drink. Didn't order anything else. Movie was good.washrooms were clean. Went to an earlier movie around 4pm so there were lots of seats to choose from. Will go back.

Tons of free parking spots. The cinema itself is no clean (at least floor is sticky for most of the time). Unlike some Cineplex, you can play Timeplay in there.
Traffic wise, there is only one bus route to get to there and with only 2 roads (only 1 major road, Steveston Hwy) link to this area. You can easily get stuck once an accident happens on Steveston Hwy, it will at least take you 30mins to 1hr just to get out of that area.

There are 18 screens plus an IMAX too, and the seats are pretty comfortable, so it is certainly not a bad place to watch a movie, or have a date with the family or significant other. While this location is far away from city center, parking is plentiful, and there are many other activities here too, including a bowling alley, ice rink, and even an aquatic center.

Excellent movie theatre! This is the best place to go watch big new movie releases. It's just an exciting place to be, with fun arcade games, a concession with popcorn, snacks, and pop, and lots of theatres! I love the TimePlay game that happens before movies, its a really fun, interactive, and enjoyable addition to the movie experience. In addition, the theatre is kept very clean and tidy all the time! Great job to the staff! Highly recommend!
