The IMAX theatre offers remastered film, higher sound quality, and a larger viewing screen for an ultimate movie experience. Birthday parties are offered on Saturdays and Sundays. Family favorite Saturdays show one movie between 11-11.30 a.m. For $2.99 per person. Tickets can be purchased online in advanced or at the box office door by kiosk. Play in-house arcade games, fun for the whole family, while you wait for your movie to start. Bring along your scene card and swipe when you purchase your tickets for free points that go towards free movies or groceries at Thrifty Foods.

We love going to this neighborhood theater. The seats are comfortable. Bathrooms accessible. Fun and games for adults and kids. Healthy availability of snacks. We go at least twice a month.

Well kept and clean but at least in the IMAX theater the seats are pretty uncomfortable, having to lean back at an akward angle or do a balancing act.

Love the IMAX option. Our Go-to theatre for movies you want to see on the big screen. Better chairs at some of the other downtown theatres, but the big screen and great sound can’t be beat.

Paid for the D Box seats they were awful they don't recline extremely uncomfortable, not worth paying an extra 10 bucks. I hear the Odeon is far better. The whole night plus ridiculous priced popcorn and a water 38 bucks never again.

Even in a time of Covid, everything was done really well. The whole SilverCity staff were very polite and my family felt very safe. Great work!

It's great to finally be back at a theater, there was never a time where I felt unsafe because everyone in there is vaccinated

Small screen and credits fuzzy for Dune. Probably a low resolution projector out of focus or both. Disappointing for $20/seat but the sound was ok

Set up for physical distancing and checking for double vaccinated. Moved quick and smooth. Felt safe

Attendant wouldn't give me a glass of water, and directed my to use a water fountain during a pandemic. Yes, I understand your counter was closed - its a cup of water. I dont believe in being rude to customer service people, but it ruined my movie. I kinda wish I'd let her have it in retrospect.

Glad to see them back open, but maybe it's time to retrain the staff. Quite a bit of confusion over there. With all the other cinemas adopting a more comfortable seat, I wonder when this massive theater will do the same?

Today I went and had bought my tickets on line, when I got to the booth, I told them I was short one ticket but the movie was about to start, they told me I bought them for the wrong theatre (west shore) so they sent me with a manager to fix it. Not only the manager (Crystal) was super super nice and helped me with my tickets she was also able to help me with that extra ticket and managed to sit us together. Really great costumer experience considering was all my silly mistake. Thanks Crystal we felt really valued guests!

Was a good experience returning back to the movies after Covid closure. Great how when you book your tickets online it fills up all the seats around you so no one is within 6 feet of you. Movie Popcorn mixed with M&M are always a great way to end the day!

Great movie theater. Although, they should update some or all of the theatres to have at least semi-reclining chairs. It is hard to sit upright for a whole movie

Met the cleaning staff of all people here, these guys were hard working and very helpful. I believe they are Filipino, so that makes it understandable why they were so friendly and accommodating in helping us find the washrooms. They seemed very happy doing their work. The place looked spotless, washrooms were clean and tidy. Feel more at ease with the covid situation knowing this staff pays attention to detail and gets the job done right. This is my go to cinema from now on. Cinema staff blocks off seating areas making sure there is proper distance between each other inside each theatre. Cinema staff are polite and very helpful too, I thought that I chose the back of the theatre but had taken front row and they were able to fix my mistake and get us better seats and saved our necks in more ways than one lol.

IMAX has the best picture and sound at this theatre. BUT Landmarks Guildford theatre has 4 k Laser with Atmos sound, even better then the IMAX.

Starting to age but it's the nicer of the two Cineplex theaters in town. I go for the buttered popcorn. The line for food is always packed with not enough staff. They need the self serve Coke as well.

Not sure why they think I want to mortgage my house to eat popcorn, have a pop and, if I have a spare tenner, get a bag of candy to share. I realize theaters make most if their $$ from food, not ticket sales, but do you really need to keep posting profitable quarters on my time out?

I paid 30.00 for two movie gift tickets. When tried to redeem it, it only had 2.00 on it. Very embarrassing. I was ripped off. Also seats not very comfortable. Non reclining. Would like tickets for 26.00 I paid and didn't receive.

Compared to some Cineplex cinemas I have been to, this place doesn't seem clear. Interior and hallway was right but isn't very interesting. So far inside the theatre was good. Seats were not that comfortable - wish they had reclining seats.

I like this theater for seeing big studio movies. I've only had two bad experiences here and they were due to a specific few audience members. For the most part this theater seems to attract a good and usually not too big audience which is nice. I also enjoy the special event screenings this theater does like with Back to the Future and Studio Ghibli films, it shows that the manager who organizes them really cares about what they do. Overall, a solid theater.

The theatre good and clean, the staff was nice, and the movie was enjoyable. There was a strange blue dots on theatre 7 although. But still a great place.

Nice, lots of space except for Tuesday & weekend evenings. Nice concession selection but prices are, as usual in theatres, high.
Saw major studio releases in IMAX: a nice visual experience but disappointing audio: ATMOS Sound would have made it amazing.
Seats are OK non-recliners with plenty of seat and leg room; quite comfortable for 2.5 hour movie.
Washroom facilities are limited when theatres are full, not bad if you see an afternoon or weekday feature.
I would have given 5-stars if seats reclined and there was better surround sound in the IMAX theatre.

Went and saw the joker. Seats were a little small compared to other places but other than that it was great!

Retro! Very nice seats and big curved screen. Auditorium on a steep slope so you can see over the person in front. Sound volume is just right. Buy your tickets ahead! Wish you could buy your popcorn ahead too. Good food.

It's a nice place! The side arcades are really good. Don't get the pop though, 6 bucks for a large? Seems a little out there. Hotdogs on the other hand, totally worth the $6.

Saw a film in the IMax and am not a fan of those seats. They recline somewhat but there is no way to lock them into one position. Only half the concession was open so lines were long, hope this isn't the new norm. I also found the volume of the "coming attractions" very loud, I had to turn down my hearing aids. I left the volume down for the feature as well. I did enjoy the movie through.

Only the IMAX is worth going for. Not well maintained and other screens not comfortable as in lousy seats.

Resolution and framerate needs to catch up with current quality. Floors were decent and seats are comfy. Everything is expensive but we all knew that already.

I still enjoy the big screen movie experience & being able to get out. Warm popcorn & a good movie. Yes!

Solid theater, nice and clean. Sadly this one doesn't have those fancy recliner seats like the downtown theaters. Still, seats are very comfortable - even through long movies your butt stays awake.

The theatre we were in definately needs an upgrade. I havent been to a movie here for awhile, it was great back then, but now it needs to be upgraded with better seats with more room.

Good size theatre for our movie, Blinded by the Light. Great sound but seats are not comfortable. Very clean here & staff are friendly & helpful. Popcorn & treats way over priced but that's common now.

Aside from being quite hectic at times the theatre is clean and great, my favorite for movies in victoria

Not a bad little theater, the concession area is in a bad spot, creates a lot of congestion. Still hard to accept Victoria doesn't have a VIP theater or time play.

Movie seats are comfortable. Sound is WAY TOO LOUD! I don't go to movies often because of that. Need to wear ear plugs! Otherwise, screen size is good. Did not buy any drinks or popcorn because it is so expensive. Washrooms are clean.

It is sad to see how impersonal going to the movies is. It was nice to have a little friendly interaction with the young lady behind the popcorn counter. (hence the rating.) the movie was good.would go there again.

Went and saw the new Godzilla movie there. Ticket line went super fast and was ushered by a friendly guy. Washrooms on one side is pretty small compared to other cineplex theatres but still manageable.

The theater and staff where good, the movie was good. The seats are not designed to accommodate children under 5 years old, but you have to pay for 3 years and up. Ten minutes of commercials before the movie begins NOT GOOD I can watch commercial free at home.
