Silverdale Creek Wetlands

Lovely easy walk on a level path. Nice duck ponds and natural wetland environment. Birds and wildlife are seen often.

For a short walk it's nice but not worth the time we took with the school age kids. Not enough to see.

Great 20 minute walk! Lots of birds to observe and frog’s to catch. Caution on the foot bridges as they are rotting and in need of repair/replacement. Parking is limited to the shoulder of the road.

Awesome, well maintained walking trail. Trail is 1 way in 1 way out in a giant loop set up to view some of the wild life in the area. Beautiful

This is a short loop for a 15 minutes walk. Not very well maintained and too noisy due to the highway very close by. Parking is very limited too.

I stay at this hotel for about a month every year. I and there for work and it is centrally located to ask the places I have to be. With that said it is always a pleasant stay, and I collect reward points which make it totally with while. If you just need a clean comfortable place, this is it. Food is good, the bar it's friendly, and there is a pool.

Its a nice place for a stroll and to look at a few birds and small fish but is quite small overall. Great nature walk for children.

Beautiful place to go for a walk! Very accessible for children, seniors & those with disabilities. Lots of lovely scenery & animals to be seen. Today we saw lots of birds, a muskrat in the water, a snake on the water, and a lot of frogs. Very fun place to take kids to discover all different types of critters. I'd highly recommend

What a little gem of a spot close to town. A nice peaceful respite to grab some time with nature. The only thing lacking is a Porta Potty, if there was one there I would have given it 5*

Parking is limited, but worth the effort to find one. Look closely and nature will reveal itself

In the spring this area is full of a variety of birds and little critters. Very short walk but bustling with activity. Whenever in Mission area will drop by for a relaxing peaceful walk.

Quiet and soothing on summer mornings in spite of being so close to the highway. Lots of wild birds. You can take your dog but must be on a leash

A shorter walk. The path is stroller and dog friendly which is great and there's usually hidden rocks you can find on your walks!

The wetlands are a small oasis. Fabulous birding combined with amphibians and reptiles makes for a fun trek. It is completely flat, great for families.

Was an interesting place to observe wildlife but is quite run down now and didn't see amy wildlife except for a couple of muskrats.

Good for the most part we made it here to help out with my litte brothers but we have done nothing to worry about because they are going to go down to the ground for a while but we are not sure if we need to come back.

A short walk through nice scenery. Stroller friendly, other than a couple of steps to get over a bridge.

Beautiful park. Great place to go for a little walk and get some fresh air. Only downside was the amount of dog poop left behind by lazy owners, it was pretty shocking.

Great place to spend late afternoon, waiting for dinner kinda day. Short walk around it and almost stroller friendly, there is a part of the bridge that needs repairs.

I love this beautiful park with its short trails. They are currently overgrown and overflowing with lots of mosquitoes owing to the recent flooding. Part of the trail is still closed off.
