Today I had the pleasure of being helped by Michael, the store manager. I had been having some difficulties with my MacBook, which is running windows for work, and my feeble attempts to sort the problem led me to visit the experts today. Michael was very kind and patient on top of being knowledgeable and ultimately was able to get my laptop functioning again. I feel good knowing there is friendly help available and will be sure to visit them the next time I need any of my Apple devices serviced.

They were great. Fast, friendly and informative. I took my MacBook in because one of the keys wasn’t working correctly. It was just a minor issue (needed to be cleaned) so they were able to fix it while I was waiting. Because my laptop gets such heavy use it is likely that it is starting to get worn out, particularly the keyboard, so the issue may come back. We discussed what my options were if it does become a recurring issue, including repairs or replacement (and how much I could expect it to cost).

If I need work done on my Apple products in the future I will definitely be coming back.

Kamloops is so lucky to have this store available! I needed help troubleshooting an issue with my MacBook - I was pretty stressed about it - but the team at this location was great. One team member was able to book a same day appointment and the other was able to solve my problem. Both were professional and very friendly. Very grateful for the help I received today!

Store Manager is amazing, makes you feel special, I feel he is truly trying to give you good service and value. The last three visits have all been positive. I recommend this store for apple products, and apple repairs.

The Simply in Kamloops has always been really great in my opinion but the last three times I’ve been, I've been helped by John who truly goes above and beyond any other customer service I've ever seen. He spends the time and effort to really address my questions and genuinely seems to care. After three very helpful visits, I finally learned his name, so thank you John for helping me get the phone I wanted, helping me get it fully set up and protected!

Got my new MacBook from Apple 2 days delivery and didn’t get harassed. If I could give less then a star I would. I had bought so many items from this place and never felt so uncomfortable before while
Trying to shop. Fix your staff owner I will never recommend anyone to go to your store. I strongly recommend Apple products but not simply computing. Simply stay away.

Once again I was stupid enough to come back to this place. Nothing has changed. Worst managed store for an Apple provider. Apple should be ashamed of this place. Products are still good but this store and its management is horrible

Simply Computing Kamloops can be relied upon for strong technical expertise and excellent customer support.

Sometimes, however, things don’t go as planned and quickly finding a new option for the client is required.

In my case, I was ready to replace my old Macbook Pro which runs with twin 24-inch monitors. Consensus seemed to be that the new 2022 Macbook Pro with M2 chip could do the job. However, after purchasing the new Macbook and getting my data transferred over, I found out that it wouldn’t support dual monitors which was a deal breaker for me.

The next morning, I phoned and then met with the Store Manager. He confirmed a mistake had been made and this was not the computer I needed.

He quickly identified another model which supported dual monitors; confirmed availability and he personally organized technical staff to set the computer up, transfer my data over. Everyone did so in a very professional manner.

Based on my experience I will be back to Simply Computing for any upcoming upgrades or questions about my Mac products.

The techs and store manager at Simply are super helpful and quick. I went in to buy a new computer and was showed all the different options and which one would work best for me. I was given all the information I needed to make the best decision thanks to the store manager. Friendly and knowledgeable, I highly recommend.

I took my I phone X in for non responsive touch screen. I was greated by VP, he was very polite and professional, I was keep up todate during the repair process by Liam. They were able got get my phone replaced by Apple. Out standing customer service from both gentleman, I highly recommend Simply Computing Kamloops

Came in to get my sons AirPods looked at he was having a volume issue. We received prompt service. The manager explained in detailed the issue, he was able to fix it on the spot! We will be back. The friendly atmosphere & helpful advise exceeded our expectations coming in! 10/10 would recommend

Great service.had a slow iMac, they diagnosed it, suggested various fixes and quoted for each one.chose the cheapest option and it was ready the same day.they went above and beyond and didn't charge for the migration of data.worked excellent.thanks guys! I now have a fast iMac

My I pad got lock and I needed password to open. BUT password in notes in the computer so couldn’t access it. Supposedly my fingerprint would unlock but that doesn’t work I’d computer shut down.
My Apple ID was also locked in but luckily my daughter had used it and remembered it
With that in hand Chris Hamill was quickly able to get my I pad back to normal including I cloud storage.
All with a smile and small fee.

Bought an iPhone 13 from Ahnaf and Michael. They were both extremely knowledgeable and efficient, and cheaper than Telus. I now have a trustworthy computer store where I can get all the answers I need from their staff. I highly recommend this store. Plus I like shopping local!

My Mac desktop crashed and it needed an install of the operation system. I had texted with the staff at Simply Computing in Kamloops to have it repaired. They replied very quickly to my texts, they setup a convenient time and date for me to bring in my desktop into the store going the extra mile for me as I do not live in Kamloops. They were very friendly and true to their word. The install was completed in 1 day (it usually takes 2 or 3 days depending on what the customer needs done). My Mac works great, it is like having a brand new computer. Thanks to everyone at Simply Computing in Kamloops. I would highly recommend them for repair service or if you are looking for a new computer.

We brought in a fairly new iPhone that had a badly damaged screen. The phone itself was being as uncooperative as it's possible for an inanimate object to be, at every step of the process. The staff and manager went above and beyond to replace the screen, working later than their closing time to finalize the fix. The customer service was second to none: courteous, patient, professional and knowledgeable. Very highly recommended.

Nicest staff and store manager I’ve encountered in 4 years of Living in BC!

Had a series of odd and extremely unconventional circumstances that made my laptop died. Despite of everything, Michael (the store manager) tried to do everything he could to make my life easier.
I’m a videographer and I rely heavily on my MacBook Pro for all my freelance projects, so a couple days without it was already a huge issue.
After my laptop had more issues, Michael made sure I was given the best deal possible under all circumstances.
I definitely recommend the store for any Apple Lovers haha, it’s been a great experience.

Good selection of apple products. Last two visits I found the salesman wasn’t so well trained in the products. Example: I bought an Apple Watch and asked for a glass protector for it. He gave me a bumper, I assumed it was also a glass protector but it was just a bumper.

Even though they weren't able to provide the service I needed at this time, he spent time ensuring that I knew exactly what my problem was and pointed me in the right direction. I've given 4 stars only because I wasn't actually able to get the service I needed.

The store is really nice & user friendly with the different stations. I was greeted when I arrived at the entrance. I did have an appointment however I was next in line. Michael was very efficient, friendly & made me feel comfortable with his positive demeanor. I recommend Simply Computing definitely & will go back for assistance. Great place! I was having a tough time troubleshooting an issue with my new ipad and pencil and they were more than happy to let me test out the pencil I'd bought elsewhere on their display devices. Had some advice on what the problem probably was, too.

I m so thankful for the people in this store. My call was answered by a friendly and cheerful young man named Christopher and I was able to get an appointment with him today. He had pretty well figured out the problem by my description over the phone, and right away he was able to fix it. I am so impressed with the staff. They are courteous, friendly and knowledgeable. Both Christopher and Michael, the assistant manager suggested and found, something that will keep the problem from happening again! Would I recommend this store? You bet! I love the staff! And my fixed computer! Thank you everyone and especially Christopher!

I have needed to use the services of simply computing on two occasions over the last two months for apple devices. I have found the service to be excellent. The staff are knowledgeable, friendly and efficient. It was really easy to book an appointment via the apple support website, it all worked flawlessly. Very impressed indeed!

I just wanted to bring to your attention the excellent service I have had from Pranav Chaudhary recently.

I needed some solutions for my iMac and took a chance randomly selecting someone to assist me remotely through your SA online service. I was most impressed with Pranav Chaudhary that I booked a second session with him a few weeks later.

Not only was he able to help me to understand the issues I was having, but he provided practical solutions for me to work on. In the end I took my iMac in for a new hard drive install (Sorry, I live in Victoria so I couldn’t take it to your Kamloops store). I had been dreading doing anything with my Mac for months (actually more than a year) as the last time I took it in (Vancouver), I did not really see any improvement.

We worked out both software and hardware issues and once again I am thrilled with my computer. I would not hesitate to recommend Pranav.

My experience was with Sebastian and revolved around my concern about spyware or malware which periodically was coming onto my IPad. I initially saw him on March 2 and it was suggested that bring my iPad back on March 4 which I did.
He reviewed everything he could think of which resulted in nothing showing up.
I sincerely appreciate his willingness to complete the process.
I have already suggested to someone that they take their product to his company for review and will continue to do son.

Duncan, an Apple Technician at Simply Computing Kamloops has been an amazing customer advocate and resource who's been actively involved in a repair that Apple themselves are creating issues over with me.

I have regularily received updates, assistance and interaction outside of the scope of Duncan's normal duties. As a person myself who has worked in the industry previously, as well as someone who's spent many years as a Manager or General Manager of businesses I can say I am very pleased and surprised with how much Duncan is willing to support the clients of Simply Computing.

The rest of the staff have also always maintained a warm a friendly attitude and always seem to be incredibly supportive of the clients I have witnessed while I have been in the store.

Thank you for being such a supportive business to the Kamloops community.

Staff are friendly and helpful, there is a waiting area with chairs as they limit the amount of customers in the store. There was two people ahead of me when I arrived and I was helped within a half hour, although they didnt have what I was looking for the guy working there was very informative and helpful. I left with a solution to my issue and his card in case I needed any additional help.

A few months ago I definitely needed tech support! I would like to thank Michael Stack for helping me with my Moms IPad after she had passed away, he was so kind and understanding. He did an amazing job figuring out what needed to be done. Very friendly, knowledgeable and efficient. Great job!
On a follow up visit Blake and Sebastian were very helpful as well.

Had to pick up an extra charging cable and adapter for my Macbook Pro this morning. Saloni did a great job of showing me options and helping me make it as economical as possible. When I got back to the office, it wasn't functioning properly. Wasn't sure which piece was to blame. Popped back into the store and she tested each piece, found a workable solution. It's hard to shop during COVID, and even harder to troubleshoot, but I'm pleased with the service and with the willingness to help me find the right products.

Absolutely terrible place i came here for a iphone battery replacement, and when i went to pick it up they told me they bricked my iphone and its completely unrepairable now. They didn't compensate me either they broke my phone and then told me goodbye. For a 18 year old kid its hard to afford to buy another iPhone and they lacked any compassion or empathy for my situation after THEIR MISTAKE. You just can't make this stuff up, a terrible place with terrible service.

Impressed with the quick turnaround of my most recent service! I had a 2016 Macbook that I wanted wiped clean and latest OS installed so it was like brand new. I was quoted a very reasonable cost ($50 or so) and it would be about 3 days. To my delight, I received a phone call in less than 24 hours that it was complete and ready to go! Very good value, in addition to genuine customer service. Thank you Regan and team! Always a pleasure.:)

I took my MacBook Pro to get a battery replaced. Got a quote for $213.33 from the gentleman helping me. 149 for the batter and 40 smthing for labour plus tax. He confirmed the price with two of his coworkers and a price guide of sorts before confirming it too me. I was satisfied and checked in the MacBook. On the day of repair someone calls me and tells me that Eddie the gentleman helping me gave me the wrong price and it would cost me 478$ instead. Then he says if you don’t want to get it done we will only charge you 50$ for diagnostic and return the laptop.

I had to use all of my Jedi patience to tell the gentleman that I already knew what was wrong with my computer and I was not paying 50 diagnostics fee for them not doing anything.

This is an interesting dilemma. I think I want to write to CBC Market place to do a show to see how many customers these retailers put through situation like this and steal their hard earned cash!

Brought in my iPhone because Apple Pay stopped working. The phone is 1 year old and I purchased AppleCare+, they told me my phone has a tiny bend in the frame (that I or no one else can see) and I will need to pay the complete replacement cost. I brought it to an official Apple store and they fixed it for free.

This is one of the best places to take your Mac!
I had purchased my MacBook Pro in 2011 and have had it in for only two issues. They knew exactly what to do and were extremely well priced for the services. I was also encouraged to purchase a back up system, which I can say is great for a piece of mind about losing any data.
I would highly recommend them to anyone I know with a computer problem or even to buy a new one.

I read the "most recent" reviews of simply computing & I have to say I was honestly a little worried to take my phone in. But telus would want $500, a cell repair place said $115. Held my breath went to simply. The guy said "I think its just the screen protector, mind if I take it off? " I said that's fine, **REALLY my breath now. ** Yep! That's all it was.phone is perfectly fine, just the screen protector. Thought holy cow! They had the tempted glass screen protector in stock & they installed it.

Have purchased a number of new products here and liked the customer service.however, recently took my apple watch (4 months old) in for a "Carry - in" service for Apple.i had already called apple and they just wanted me to ship it to them, Simply wouldn't do that and instead "diagnosed" it themselves. Would only ship it if I gave a damage deposit equal to the value of the watch.similar to a lot of other service posts for Simply, i was treated the exact same way.not sure i'd go quite so far as to call it a money grab, but they definitely weren't able to listen to the customer and the issue. Right away grabbed the watch and went to the back without me explaining the issue.

I'm not an electronics tech, but looking online and at my watch it appears to be a swollen battery issue which seems to be a very common issue with this watch. According to Simply, this is my fault.

Very poor customer service. Was told my I-phone was a "human hair" bent so they can't do anything (not even try to repair the actual problem) and to call apple.

My iPhone is not bent so this made me feel like they just were making excuses not to honour warrenty on a iPhone that shuts off constantly by itself. Thankfully apple itself was a lot more helpful than these people.

I should have read the reviews before wasting my time. I will not be returning.

We have always had excellent service at Simply Computing. When our over 10 year old lap top was acting up they decided that they could repair it. They offered us the $53.00 solution & now the lap top is working great. They could have sold us a new computor for 1700.00 or more but they said they would try the cheaper way first. We appreciate their honesty. Thank you Simply Computing. We've used you before & will use you again. Robert

I took my iPhone to Simply Computing because they are the only store in Kamloops that will deal with Apple Care. The only thing wrong with it was the screen, but I was told that my phone was bent and that I would have to pay $145 to get a whole new phone. I paid for it and they ordered my new phone. Before I received my new phone, I was called and told I needed to bring my phone back in for 'testing' and was not given any specifics as to what the testing was or if it would affect my warranty. I was told they would not give me my new phone, which I had paid for, until I brought my phone back. I was very disappointed in my service and inconvenience decided to cancel my order. Since then, I took it to an Apple store in Calgary, and they replaced the screen and battery free of cost, with no mention of a bent phone. Clearly a money grab on behalf of Simply Computing, combined with some of the worst costumer service I have ever had.

My daughter phoned was plugged and small amount of dry rice was in the charging spot and it took 86 seconds to remove it and we were charged 44 dollars. I am not sure if this is a going rate per hour,

Just got my iPhone replaced. Very good customer service, actually, probably the best customer service I've experienced in the past few years.

Sure fixing our technology can be a bit "up there", but knowing for sure it is fixed with the best standards possible, gives us a priceless peace of mind.

We had a few concerns regarding our old computer. Brandon clearly explained what may have happened to it, checked the computer, and set it up to our liking. Although all employees were very busy, we were well attended to when it was our turn.

I've shopped here for quite a few years, purchased many items and have always had phenomenal service. As such, I've recommended family and friends to the store; however, upon purchasing my husband a Mac book air, the staff (all new faces) had a difficult time figuring out billing and shipping (for tax purposes). Many times had to go to the back room to check with other staff - took very long. In addition to this they said that we were not eligible for student discount because it was a day after September 30th. In all the years I've purchased, I've always received a discount for being a student (most people come here for this very reason). At the very least this should have been extended considering the service and staff confusion. The next day I was suppose to receive the item, but the lady who help us the day before called in the afternoon at 3 pm to check if anyone would be home upon delivery. This seemed odd considering there was no mention of a call before or even a forewarning in the store upon purchase. She also said that the item would be shipped in the early morning. When she did call, I was busy at the moment, so couldn't take the call. All in all we didn't receive the product until 2 days later. Very disappointed in the customer service overall and will likely go elsewhere next time.

I had to go to Simply Computing for a fix, as I ordered a refurbished MacBook Air from Apple that arrived damaged. I was unable to send it back to Apple for repairs.

I mainly interacted with the owner (I think) of the store. When explaining my problem, he dwelled for far too long on how I should not have purchased a refurbished computer. He asked how much it cost (which he should not have) and when I gave him a range he said that it "wasn't that much cheaper" than a new one, which I could have just purchased a new one from Best Buy.

It's shocking that I have to say this, but shaming your customers for not buying new or full-price is beyond inappropriate.
