I see a lot of negative reviews, but I’ve never had a bad experience. It’s easy to book appointments on their website and the doctors are great.

I've been a patient at this clinic since 2017 and have always had great experiences and they have helped so much with many issues and working with me to treat my cancer over the years. However in the past few months many of the best doctors have left the clinic without announcement. Today I had an appointment with Dr. Wong and he was extremely cold, dismissive and defensive. The secretary booked me incorrectly for a phone appointment for something that should have been in person - this caused a severe delay in a form being filled (over a month). Instead of taking accountability or apologizing Dr. Wong proceeded to argue with me and threaten that I should find a new clinic/doctor and that "there is no such thing as a family clinic/doctor" when I literally had a family physician at this clinic for over five years? The way I was treated the past two days by this clinic is extremely disheartening and I hope they can rectify the issues of the ego's of their staff - especially for the people who have been coming to this clinic for serious health issues for over five years.

Another stupid clinic that advertises themselves as a walk in clinic yet doesn’t do walk ins. Useless place. Avoid at all costs.

Pretty decent clinic. It’s had less doctors and longer wait time lately, but the reception picks up the phone and the doctors make the most out of their time with you. That’s more than I can say for 95% of clinics in Canada these days.

Receptionist was extremely rude and unprofessional. Why have a sign on the door welcoming new patients just to be told your not taking any more.

I went to see Dr. Eric and he was extremely rude, I was very nervous and it was hard for me to explain what was happening to me. He was very impatient and angry, making gestures of disapproval and impatience, when he went to check me out, he looked untidy. Since I've been in Vancouver I've been there but only 2 times have I been treated by 2 friendly empathetic doctors Dr. Lovett was the best but he's not there anymore. I would never go back to Dr. Eric, I only saw in the disgust and wanting to get out of the box quickly.

The lady in the reception was so rude. They don’t accept new patients, they should take off the writing in the front door that says “new patients welcome”

I love this place. I’ve had a couple of all around excellent experiences here as of late. But unfortunately they stopped accepting walk-ins immediately after I was able to get in, so I think I was very lucky. (Best to arrive very early to walk-in if they open it back up)

I did witness someone get mad at reception due to them not taking more walk-ins - I know it’s frustrating but please don’t get mad at them for doing their job. They are after all trying to help and really don’t deserve your frustrations.

The main walk-in clinic I go to. Easy to book an appointment. Clean. Staffs are friendly. Doctors are friendly and trying to help. So far I had great experience with Dr. Krivokapic and Dr. Xu Qian.)

This review is about their online services and front desk staff.
Their website does not currently work for booking appointments.
Trying to call to book an appointment or change my information (update my phone number) has been an incredibly stressful process.
This is very disheartening because I love my doctor. She has been amazing for myself and my baby.

Please fix your booking system and make sure your front desk staff understand how stressful booking a dr appointment can be. A huge trigger for anxiety.

Being a patient at Simply Wellness Kingsway location since 2017 has been an amazing experience all around.

My family Dr. (Dr. Kamath) at the clinic is amazing, although I am sad to know he is retiring and moving away in 9 days. The medical office assistants are kind and helpful, and the clinic manager has been amazing.

All of this has been a very welcome change, especially since my last experience of 10 years + with a different very negligent Dr.and abusive receptionist.

Hats off to Dr. Kamath, Monica and the entire team at Simply Wellness Medical, Kingsway location.

I am currently an international student and I feel this is by far the nicest clinic i have been to. The staff is very polite, doctors are professional and know what they are doing. If you book an appointment then it is very smooth and you do not have to wait much. I have been to many clinics where even after the appointment it i had to wait so much.

Overall the clinic is very good.

Dr. Tamara is very patient and knowledgeable. It is my second time to deal with this clinic. I really like the staff and doctors over here.

Dr. Kamath didn't send in the refill for my girlfriend's emergency psychiatrist prescribed anti-depressant and now she is suicidal. When will doctors learn this stuff is serious and you can't just take people off medications or forget to send in prescriptions. I'm dead serious that this is happening right now.

I was referred to this clinic by an virtual clinic as I haven’t been able to get into my usual walk in. I was greeted in the exam room by the coldest medical professional I’ve ever encountered. I was there to get updated treatment referrals from a car accident and Dr Tamara Krivokapic seemed irritated that I was there right from the start. I had to ask her to repeat a question because I had trouble hearing her and she appeared annoyed she had to repeat herself. She didn’t seem to comprehend that I would still need treatments for things since my accident was “practically four years ago” as if there is an exact timeline for everyone’s recovery. Kept telling me I need to go to a Family doctor (I’ve been trying to get a family doctor for the last ten years with no success) or telling me I should see the doctor I first saw, despite me telling her that said doctor was no longer taking patients. She gave me the limited referrals for the treatments I’m currently getting but at this point I was too anxious and triggered by her lack of empathy to remember any other referrals I had been sent to get. She then started typing and then looked at me sitting there after a moments for a moments and goes, “you’re done. You can go now. ” As I was leaving the room I glanced back and saw her shake her head slightly and let out a loud sigh as she continued typing on my file. I have never dealt with a health care professional with as little human empathy as she did. I will never return to this clinic and encourage others to avoid as well.

What an awful clinic. I have had a negative experience with nearly every doctor here. They do not care about your needs at all.

-one doctor rushed my entire appointment because he was behind on his schedule. Last time I checked, that’s not my fault. He was rude and condescending. Every time I asked a question or for more clarification he sighed and gave a lazy answer. He admitted to being uneducated on the medication I needed, and when I asked to speak to a different doctor due to him not helping me, he just asked me why and did not refer me to anyone else. He also kept cutting me off mid sentence while I asked about my medication, something that is not only rude, but incredibly dangerous. Conversations about medications are extremely important, and he just brushed it off as if it was nothing, I left the appointment with none of my questions answered.

-another doctor insisted I get my disability tax form signed by my family practitioner. It went in one ear out the other when I informed her that I am not comfortable with my family doctor because he is not understanding of my needs and is condescending towards my disability. She practically ignored this and told me she did not want to sign it because she doesn’t know me and she is “not comfortable” signing it. Isn’t that ironic? After this, she provided me with no information on how I can get this signed elsewhere, and even said she was worried about her license being threatened if she signed it. When I asked her what I was supposed to do if I don’t have a family doctor to sign it, all she said was “then that’s a problem. ” Wow thanks! Most importantly, she would not even look at this form nor would she look at my official disability diagnosis. What’s the point of this clinic if the doctors don’t even act like they want to help you? Absolutely ridiculous

Went to see Dr. Eric to check the infected cyst on my back. He clearly saw the infection but didn’t prescribed any antibiotics and just told me that he would make a referral to see another doctor for the removal. A week later the infection got worsened and the cyst ruptured. Called the office and they said they haven’t processed the referrals and I had to go to urgent care clinic to drain blood and pus. If it was treated a week ago with simple prescription, I wouldn’t have suffered every morning cleaning and dressing the wounds.
Still waiting for the referral.

The receptionist has an attitude problem (I think her name is Yva?). Strange vibe, She’s, rude and doesn’t try to help you at all. Barely does her job. You have to beg her to get an appointment with a doctor. This is not a “walk-in”clinic. Don’t waste your time.

Great experience! Booked an appointment online and was able to drop in the same day. Staff were friendly (had an appointment with Dr. Eric) and I was able to quickly pick up my prescribed medication next door.

As a senior, who had a recent health issue I was so pleased that I chose this clinic. Simply Wellness is welcoming, clean and has a friendly atmosphere. They reply to messages in an timely fashion and appointments are arranged quickly. Dr. Eric Yu is very attentive with your health concerns. I would recommend Simply Wellness to anyone. They truly make all attempts to address your health concerns. Bravo!

My GP moved to this clinic. From the beginning, their procedures seem deliberately set up to avoid having to speak directly to you, or ever see you in person. They rarely answer the phone, you are directed to their website. On the website, they only give you the option of requesting a phone appointment or if you are requesting a face to face appointment then one has to go through a convoluted process.first you need to set up a profile with their online site. After that you're either submitting your cell or email and then even just to get to the next step in making an appointment, you have to wait for a secure pass code to be sent to you to login with that. For seniors, people with disabilities, or those who aren't comfortable with technology, this is the perfect setup to exclude those from care.
When my GP moved there, they first lost my registration with her so I had to argue with them and re-provide evidence that I was her patient and should be "allowed to be part of the clinic". Even after all of that it took me 3 or 4 calls/emails in order to get a response/confirmation that it had been corrected. When they've sent referrals to specialists they have missed including any of my contact details for those specialists and so a re-submission needed to be done = months lost. When I contacted them to let them know of this omission = no reply, no apology.
I am in the process of needing to find a new GP as mine is making a change, and I hope the next one is NOT associated with Simply Wellness.

Great experience. I was able to book a same day walk in appointment and Dr. Crory was very friendly and efficient. One of the better walk-in experiences I’ve had in this city!

I was in this clinic with my son who was with fever and headache. There were 2 receptionists. We were very underserved. I thought the most important to a health clinic was to be the respectful and educated with their consumers. Because I don't speak english very well, when we left the clinic without being seen by a doctor the two receptionists were laughing at us. This happened two days ago about 4 p.m

Excellent, seamless service. After a different online clinic failed to call or contact me for my phone appointment, I was able to make a phone appointment at Simply Wellness for the next day.

The appointment page was easy to navigate, there was prompt confirmation by text and email, and I was given a few forms to fill out ahead of time where I could explain my issue and history in some detail.

Dr Xu called right on time, was very thorough, and had a great, gentle manner. He sent a prescription to my pharmacy and I was able to pick it up an hour later. Highly recommended.

Don't remember his name but he was a brown male doctor. Discussed about hormonal medication and told him that I may be sensitive to hormonal changes. Then he asked me if it's not because of my personality. Not even a psychiatrist will say that. Very condescending and rude. During the whole conversation, he made me feel like I was just bothering him. Why be a doctor when you lack compassion?

Waited for a whole day in the pain to talk to them on the phone, and received the answer to go to emergency room to receive a more accurate answer.

Booked an appointment at 2: 30pm, doctor no response. Called 2 times and waited 1.5 hour to verify whether the doctor is still available to do phone call appointment booked hours ago.

VERY DISAPPOINTING!

Was able to book a phone consult with a doctor within thirty minutes of online booking. Their online system was easy to use, and the doctor was polite, courteous, and helpful.

Great place for any medical issue. But their phone service is not at all in any way accommodating. It would help if they answered their phone calls. By far the longest I've waited on the phone.

I am rather new to the clinic maybe approximately a year. I have always received professional treatment. It is a busy office with many types of doctors and services available. My physician is Dr. Lovett and has been for 9 years. She is a very talented caring doctor. I have nothing but complete faith in her as my primary care doctor.

All the staffs are so sweet and feel like family! All willing to help U! All doctors are expert and friendly! I really recommend this clinic!

Doctor diagnosed me wrong after a very short checkup and I paid to see him. The receptionist on the phone was also very rude and unprofessional when I asked could the doctor follow it up as I felt I was hard done by. She replied with if you want to see him again pay more money or go elsewhere.
I then went elsewhere to see another doctor and sure enough I was right in that I was not diagnosed correctly.

Spent $160 for a full physical and only received a consultation, I went in with 3 issues, only one was slightly addressed. Honestly made me lose faith in general practitioners a little bit more. I will not be returning as I felt like they honestly did not care.

Really bad experience, they give an appointment for x hour and you have to wait more than 1 hour extra, incomprensible

I was an unfortunate victim of the U-Dream scandal, and I have been going through many physical and psychological issues the last couple months. From beginning to end, my visit to this clinic was an amazing experience. (Who can say that about a walk-in clinic?) The woman who checked me in was very kind. I was ready to have to wait a few hours, but I was called into a room after what felt like about ten minutes. Then I was only in that room for five minutes. Dr Kamath was so kind and understanding. He listened to my whole sordid story, and never once interrupted me. The whole place is modern, clean and relaxing. I feel so lucky to have found it today.

I came back from a trip with a high fever and terribly painful cough. I made an appointment for a walk in here at Simply Wellness. I walked in and it was very busy but not too bad of a wait (20 minutes with an appointment). I saw a female doctor and she told me I definitely had a fever but it will go away. She also checked my mouth and throat. She then told me to take a tylneol and go home to rest.

The cough got worse and I went to my family doctor. Turns out I had bronchitis. I needed two different inhalers and meds.

Wrong diagnosis.

I had two visit's a few weeks apart at this clinic with an extremely swollen knee, torn ACL and damaged meniscus (Unknown at the time). After explaining my injury (Classic ACL, hard pivot, hyperextension, and loud snap) was told that my knee was fine but just needed ice and rest, most importantly I was told that they "Cant just hand out MRI's" and was never contacted by them again even though they said they would "try". Obviously it is anecdotal but I felt that I was not cared for at all by the doctors in this clinic and that there was a mentality of getting patients in and out the door as quick as possible.

One of the best walk-in clinics I have ever been to. The ladies at the front were friendly, welcoming, and efficient. Doctors are amazing. I would recommend this clinic to all.

Was welcomed when I came in, it took about 40 mins to get processed and unfortunately I was sent elsewhere after the wait. The space is clean and the staff are pleasant and polite. Would come back.

Over all a great office, this is one of the few offices in town that actually accepts new patients. I've been here multiple times since they've opened and everytime they fit me in no problem and I usually call the same day. It sucks when you call your doctor and they tell you to come in in a week or two when you actually need to see them right then and now, this place gets it and that's fantastic. I've been treated by two different doctors and they were both fine, nothing amazing but nor were they terrible. The front reception ladies are also pretty good. Highly reccomend this place!

My little Emma went here for flu shot. A doctor was amazing. My daughter is usually quiet nervous but a doctor tried to interrupt my daughter while doing a shot. I asked a receptionist if she would take new patients unfortunately she is a walk in doctor. Amazing doctor thanks so much for treating my little one so well.

I would least recommend this clinic! They cancelled my appointment at the moment I arrived! They are the most irresponsible clinic staff that I have ever seen in vancouver!

They just aren't on the ball when it comes to communication or follow ups.
Things take months when they should take weeks.

Since moving to Canada I have had very negative experiences with doctors at walk in clinics and so had very low expectations when attending here. I was completely blown away by the two doctors I have seen here. Both were extremely patient, kind, helpful and in no way rushed or diminished my concerns. The front staff are very nice and you can make appointments even as a walk in, and the times they give are the actual times you will be seen.
Amazing right? I cannot recommend this clinic highly enough.

Really good clinic where the doctors take time to listen.
We have not been to any other clinics so far in Vancouver but after the reviews I have seen for other places, this clinic really stands out. Staff and doctors are so nice, 100% would recommend.

I'm in love with this clinic! After 4 years of looking for a good clinic and doctors, I finally found the one. I'd definitely recommend this clinic to anyone and everyone. The doctor listened to every detail, referred me for a test and the follow up was done in 2 weeks (the doctor had informed it'd take 2 weeks approx.). Usually, mostly everyone has a complain regarding clinic receptionists, but this one here listened to my requests, very friendly and went above and beyond to anything that I asked for.

Great experience with this clinic so far, they follow up immediately and listened to all my concerns. You can also book walk in appointments which is ideal! That’s why they fill to capacity early which I always wondered about.

Made an appointment to have my daughter receive her mumps, measles and rubella vaccine only to have the doctor refuse to vaccinate her at the appointment because of her age! Such a bad experience especially for my daughter! I would not bring her here again. If you are looking to get your child vaccinated I would take them somewhere else.

Went into Simply Wellness this afternoon and had the most pleasant clinic experience I’ve ever had. The girl at the front desk was prompt, kind and attentive. I’ll definitely be going back for any of my future illnesses and medications.

I typically dread going to the Dr’s due to previous unpleasant experiences. Simply wellness was the first clinic I have visited where I looked forward to returning. It is a clean, lovely environment. The staff are friendly and polite. Emily at the front desk was cheerful and made the visit as smooth as possible. Dr kamath was friendly and took his time during our appointment. I will definitely be returning!

I was seen immediately by a kind knowledgeable wonderful doctor at a walk-in appointment. I can think of nothing that would have made this experience more positive.

We just came back to the clinic for the second time. This time we met Dr. RUSS. SHE is professional and friendly as well. My daughter liked her so much that she said she wanted to come back. We were walk in patients but we were lucky this time to see Dr. Russ who seems to earn positive reviews here. I gave 4 stars because last time we saw a doctor who was in a rush and so not very helpful at all.

It was my second visit Dr. Elizabeth Ross and I must say what a wonderful, current and on-point dr.she is. I felt very well comfortable talking to her as he listened to me very carefully thus I didn't feel rushed while talking to her. I sometimes tend to repeat myself when I am quite involved in conversations that I am having. She is patient and confident in her abilities and that gives me a huge comfort.

I must say that she is an attentive, competent doctor who you as a patient would def want to have in your town. Thank you very much Dr. Ross.

Dr. Ross is by far the best doctor I've seen to date. She is very knowledgeable, concise and compassionate. I can't recommend her enough!

The front reception was polite and the place was clean. You can call for an appointment so you don't have to sit and wait for hours. Dr. Ross was always on time.

I'm hoping to stay healthy, but if I'm not well I'm heading straight back here.

At 1130am on Saturday already met there quote of walk in patients. It does suck, but can not be helped. Looks to be a small clinic.
