Sizzling Tandoor

I have ordered from this place twice. The first time, I took a bite of my curry and found a staple in my food. I didn’t complain since accidents happen. I tried again a second time and I found yet again, another staple…

I’m big fan of Indian food, this time wasn’t the best but i appreciate the chefs work it could be improved, I like the service was absolutely great!

The only comment is the tandoori chicken was little dried, I didn’t feel it was fresh!

We were to this place today evening and we ordered chole bature. The service was awesome and the food was very very tasty. The waitress Anu was absolutely awesome. She checked with us now and then and made sure that we were served well and taken care of at all times. She was very efficient and always had a smile on her face. This lady deserves a hike. Awesome service.

Sizzling tandoor have always been one of my Indian cuisine choice. What is amazing is the service by Anu. I have been to this location multiple times this week and her smile and attention to details have been my reason to come back to this specific location. Yesturday I saw her working alone and taking care of the full resturant yet ever single time I needed something she was avaliable. She has great knowledge of the menu and drinks. Perfect customer service she derserves a raise! 10/10. I will be emailing the owner about my experience as well.

Truly the best indian food in westshore. Dal tadka, Lamb roganjosh, cofta gravy.everything was superb. Loved the naans and lassi

Love the food but unfortunately it’s become too expensive to come in as a single person to get one curry - with taxes, tip and sub whole wheat roti comes out to about $28-$30.

My favourites are paneer tikka masala and aloo gobhi.
The dal makhani Is not very good

Honestly the food is good. Although I can’t help but feel shortchanged when i drop 70 dollars on food and end up with a miniature serving of rice and no naan included.

Turmeric gives quadruple the rice two curries and naan for 22 dollars.

Serves good Indian food. Price is on par with other Indian restaurants in Victoria BC. We had Butter Chicken, Chicken Tikka Masala, and the Mixed Sizzler, with Garlic Naan and Rice. The food was good. The garlic naan could have had a bit more hint of garlic to it. The staff were very friendly and cooperative.

Food excellent quality and service was friendly. Restaurant was quite empty and lacking atmosphere. Suspect it has yet to recover properly from Pandemic slowdown. Recommended for nice authentic Indian food experience.

I ordered Gobi Manchurian and Onion Cilantro Naan for delivery. Both items were so undercooked that I had to throw my food in garbage. Both, food and money wasted.
