I have membership for 3 months now and haven’t used it for a couole months so they are holding a balance. I wanted to book a facial for mid October but it seems my credit card in expiring in December and they can’t book me until I give a new card number. Note again, THEY HAVE MY MONEY ENOUGH FOR MORE THAN ONE FACIAL NOW. They have new young people just out of 6 months of beauty school who must be paid a minimum wage. They don’t have any senior people to even ask how to override a problem like this. The facials as someone had said are just people applying product after product.
I would say, stay away. Find a place with good experienced specialists.

I'm a long-time member of Skoah, and I never had an issue with esteticians because I chose my estheticians carefully, and I always request the most experienced ones. I usually have one estetician who is doing my skin. The problem with skoah is that their wonderful esteticians are leaving skoah too soon. The turnover of esteticians leaving skoah is overwhelming, and as a member of a few years, I always wondered why great esteticians are leaving the organization. That's my biggest concern with skoah - every time I go for my facial, my great estetician will be gone, and I will need to figure out who will do my skin and what type of quality of facial service I will get since not knowing the estetician. I'm doing facials all my life, I have great skin, and in any other facial/spa in Yaletown, I used to have one estetician for years. So far, in skoah, for +3 years of being with them, five great esteticians who were doing my skin left the company, and if I quit my membership with skoah, it will be because of skoah management inconsistencies to keep great esteticians on board and not because of esteticians per see.

My facial with Nawaal was amazing; so relaxing and informative! The front desk staff were extremely friendly and the facility was gorgeous. Thank you again!

Went here last weekend for my first ever facial and it was fantastic. One of the most relaxing experiences I’ve ever had. They were great!

Such a great experience! My teenager and I had our facials together in the same room. I swear I left there looking as young as them. The quality of the service was amazing and my esthetician could not have been better! (I highly recommend the gold serum!) I'm picky about my products and it's the real deal. Thanks Skoah Yaletown!

This website was very accommodating to ordering a gift card for somebody who lives in a different province as me. They even allowed me to set a date to send it so I can have it delivered to my friend on her birthday via her email across the country!

I had a facial done here about a week ago. This was only my second facial I’ve ever had done, as my first one was also with SKOAH about a month ago. That first time I told the employee what products I used on my face and I was told they took down my info in a file for next time.

This time, I expected to be asked about my skin type, products I used, and if I was allergic to anything etc because I had a DIFFERENT esthetician. I didn’t think anything of it because they had my file on hand to refer to. Unfortunately during the facial she applied a chemical exfoliant to my skin which immediately started to burn quite painfully. Throughout the facial I was not told what products were being applied.

For the next few days my skin remained inflamed, swollen, and it was very painful as it peeled a lot and felt tingly and itchy (photo attached for reference). It sucked because a lot of people asked what happened to my face and I had to spend $$ on some products to repair my skin barrier.

When I asked for a refund SKOAH ghosted me for two days and only got back to me after I followed up. The best they could do was to give me a complimentary facial and to “educate me on skincare. ” I really just wanted my money back.

I went to Skoah for a facial with Dermaplaning and my skin is so good and smooth right now. I loved it!
Also, their costumer service is excellent. I really recommend Skoah!

Wow, Linh was SO caring and I sincerely enjoyed my facial experience. The store entry is organized, open and much larger than most Skoah’s I’m used to. The experience during the facial was so motivating and during the massage I was in bliss! Linh is amazing. You’re my new go-to location in Vancouver.

Going to SKOAH has become part of my annual birthday tradition. I love the soothing atmosphere, friendly reception, and the personalized skin assessment/facial that they offer. This particular location is round the side of the TD Canada Trust Branch and ATM, if you're on Nelson walking towards Hamilton.

For 2022, I ordered the Facialiscious Facial, which is a 75 minute client-focused facial complete with a skin assessment and rejuvenation, full body massage, and skin education so that you know how to continue maintaining the "skoah glow" that you will inevitable leave with. You receive a lip balm and a welcome note upon entering your room.

I had the immense pleasure of being taken care of by Jessica McLay who was well-versed in all skin types, and especially darker skin tones. We had an invigorating conversation about AHAs and skin best practices which, coming from someone who knows NOTHING about skin care, was much appreciated. I especially loved her creative analogies as she explained why certain products were useful and critical to skin health. After my facial, she provided me with a hand-written note of all the things we discussed so that I can be empowered to experiment and figure out which would be best based on my skin's needs. I am making a point to list her name, because when I return (hopefully for my next birthday), I intend on booking my SKOAH facial with her.

Speaking of birthdays, I received a 25% birthday discount which was also a nice touch to round off the high level of hospitality that I received.

As you can tell, I am a fan of Jessica - and SKOAH (since they are part of my birthday lineup). I highly recommend and will be returning - maybe sooner, rather than later ;)

Power facial was so relaxing and enjoyable, they customize the products to your skin concerns and needs. Highly recommend, I will be back in 4 weeks!

I've been coming here for over a decade. It's such a great location and of course the facials are divine. Facialiscious is where it's at.

I've had a lot of skoah facials in the past and at various locations. I got to say this was my best one so far. This is also my favorite location. Some locations you can still hear the mall noise outside and that's far from relaxing. The staff was informative and friendly.

The best part was Caitlin but I think she goes by Lihn or Lynne. She was so attentive and gentle. She checked in on me with every step. The scalp and neck massage was luxurious. I almost fell asleep. Overall she just put me in a good mood for the rest of the day.

My skin felt amazing after and I will be considering getting the yearly membership now.

After the warm reception at the front desk I sat waiting to be taken in, and while I was waiting, a lady had just finished with her appointment and she looked like she had just returned from planet Zen. She seemed so relaxed and grounded that I felt excited for her, and since it was my first time at this spa, it was a little reassuring.

The space itself is exactly how it looks on their website. It's clean, serene and the staff are friendly and professional.

I did my Power facial with Jessica and she was wonderful.
What stood out for me was that the facial was completely catered to you personally and I don't just mean technical skin stuff, I mean in terms of experience. They make sure that your stay is 100% to your taste and liking. This is evident in several things that you'll see if you choose to go. I loved the fact that she asked me, before she even started, if I'd like to know about the products she was using on me, or if I'd prefer to have quiet time.and I chose quiet time. The message chair was super comfortable, the music was at the perfect volume and the temperature was neutral with the option of having your heating pad on the bed turned on or off.depending on your mood.

First time guests receive $10 off their first treatment and $20 off their products which I appreciated. I mean there's not much else to say really.it was a great facial with great staff located in stunning Yaletown right by El Guapo. Margarita anyone after a facial?:)

Thoroughly enjoyed my ME-TIME and walked home glowing with a big grin on my face just having returned from planet Zen.

I’ve been to skoah a few times and I generally enjoy the facial and the comfy beds are a lovely way to unwind. It’s great to have a neck massage in the process too.

Cons for me:
During the facial some of the women who have helped me out spoke too much about the products and what they do for the skin. This led me to believe they were trying to create a story early on so I’d be primed to buy things. It was the case both times.

When leaving the treatment there is no way to pay until you have your discussion with your service provider about products. And I’ve had a few too many experiences where I can feel how pushy they are being about selling me something.

It’s a huge turn off to feel like the whole experience is a sales call. Sometimes I just want a facial without buying anything or getting any info. I’ll ask when I want info and I’ll let you know when I want a new cleanser recommendation etc… I get that products are part of the business but I’d say build genuine relationships first and the rest will follow.

Skoah Yaletown is fantastic! I've been to this location a handful of times and I've had nothing but exceptional experiences. Not only are the facials fantastic (the facialicious is my favourite) but the products are underrated/are so incredible on my skin. The staff is also over-the-top kind and accommodating- they brought in their regional manager to perform a facial on me because they knew it was my wedding that weekend and wanted to fit me in even though they were short staffed that day. I would give this place 6/5 stars if I could!

Such a fantastic group of people operating and working at this location. I love the text message service, where you can take care of anything you need before your appointment. Just such a seamless experience. I truly wish every other company had a similar communication style and platform. Plus their services are awesome! Can’t forget that! ️

Facials at Skoah Yaletown are always fantastic! My most recent one was a Facialiscious with Jessica. She addressed all my skin concerns, answered all my questions, and killed it (in a good way) with the massage. I left relaxed with better looking skin than I walked in with.

Olivia was amazing! Had the facialiscious facial and it exceeded my expectations. This facial is worth every penny and the massage that is included is sublime. My skin looks and feels amazing. I love this location and would recommend that you request Olivia!

I’ve been going here for years, and every time it’s a mini vacation. I also use various skoah products, and it’s great for my sensitive skin. The facialists take time to explain what would work for your particular skincare concern.

I love this spot. Their facials are amazing, they have put their prices up in a the last few years but I feel they have gotten better. The 45 mins facials are a great treat but the 75min facial especially the ones with some massages are amazing. Scalp massage before and after make it. I use their products now and really see a difference. Really would recommend.

From the moment I entered Skoah to the completion of the facial, I was impressed by the attentiveness and care from the wonderful staff. Given the option for a calm and quiet or more informative/conversational facial, I opted for the latter and had a truly relaxing and high quality experience while learning about the products and approaches for different skin concerns from J. P. (Jyatsna P.). She was fantastic and talked me through the different aspects of the facial, and provided incredibly helpful recommendations on routines and product application. Highly impressed! Definitely will be back

Go and see Ashley! This was the best facial I've had in years. Ashley knows what she's doing and you won't be disappointed. The products felt clean and light on my face, no scents were overwhelming, the staff were so lovely and welcoming and Ashley made sure I felt comfortable and pampered. The ambiance, lighting, cleanliness and overall atmosphere is everything that you hope for in a spa and the products they carry are amazing. 11/10!

My girlfriend and always find ourselves back here as it’s the perfect way to treat ourselves. The staff here are always so friendly and professional. It’s a clean and relaxing environment and they use quality products. My skin trainer, Teagan, was amazing and so gentle with extractions. She listened to my skin concerns and gave me some pro tips on what to do at home.

I was super impressed with the care and attention I received at my facial appointment the other day. It was my first time there, I was welcomed in with a friendly smile. I am not huge into using a lot of products and I often worry about going to places like this and then feeling pressured into buying a bunch of things I won’t use but that was not the case. I felt like she met me where I am at and I really appreciated that.

Also, small thing but big thing actually, she communicated and asked how I would like to experience the facial, ie: in silence or talked thru what was happening. That really goes a long way I feel.

Great service and all the staff were really kind.

My girl was awesome! Such a wonderful facial. They got me in right away and were super friendly. The massage was amazing and the products left my skin feeling glowy! I also bought the gel cleanser which was reasonably priced. Will definitely be back.

Ashley was fabulous. She made sure to check ahead of time if I wanted a step by step description or if I wanted to just relax. There wasn’t a moment that I did not feel comfortable and relaxed. Ashley is very skilled and knowledgeable. My skin feels so fresh and clean. I went with cucumber scented products and I am excited to go back again and try their other wonderful scents. I have been getting facials from skoah Yaletown since it opened in 2001. My skin has been thanking me ever since.

The facialiscious facial is the best! My skin care trainer, Ashley, did an incredible job. I appreciated that she asked if I wanted her to go over each product during the facial or if I wanted to just relax. I felt completely rejuvenated after the facial!

After discussing my goals and objectives at length over the phone i booked a power facial. On arrival I asked for clarification that this treatment would work towards my goals and was told it would. It didn’t. It was a very superficial treatment and one I could have done at home, so I was disappointed.

When skoah asked for my feedback i told them the above. They told me that it was my fault for booking the wrong type of treatment - despite being advised by two of their staff. They told me that at least i will know for next time. Not ideal.

Otherwise facility is clean + modern+ well maintained, and staff are nice.

I had a very good experience at Skoah Yaletown. I had a facialiscious and loved the treatment. My skin care trainer was Amanda. She was very kind since the very beginning and managed everything in a very gentle way. I liked that she explained to me all the process and personalized the treatment with products that would go well with my type of skin. I also have extra sensitive skin and usually get dermatis after facials. I didnt react negatively to any of the Skoah products, my skin feels healthy and looks great. The place is super clean and they even had a follow up with me to check how my skin was 24 hours after the facial. Definitely going back for more treatments!

I had a great experience at the yale town location. 5 stars facialucious facial! I enjoyed the treatment, great tips and products.

Was a bit disappointed with my facial. 3 days later and my skin looks dull and bumpy, there were hardly any extractions done, I had two pimples that were not touched at all. It was not what I expected from the Fascilicious, my skin is super broken out right now and looks worse than when I came in.

The massage component was useless and was a big reason I booked in as well.
