The place is great but don't go there for nail extensions, got them done for a trip and in 3 days they started to falling off, really disappointed

Today I came in for an ombré acrylic set (first time) and a pedicure, and I had the worst experience. At one point, I was the only customer in the shop and there was a lot of yelling back and forth in Vietnamese between the staff - they also had somebody on speaker phone. The staff member at the front looked angry and was screaming so loudly at the person on the phone and nobody did anything about it. I tried to mind my business but it got to a point where it was concerning and very unprofessional that I had to ask if everything was okay. A young male did my pedicure and was very gentle and took his time on them, which I appreciated. However, I felt that the work done on my finger nails by one of the female technicians (could be the owner as I’ve recognized her throughout these years) were rushed, gel was too thick and too bumpy instead of flushed to my nail. The acrylics were also not properly glued directly on the entire nail and I’m afraid they’re going to pop right off or collect dirt.

Over the years, I’ve liked coming to Sky Nails because it was convenient, reasonably priced and was able to get serviced right away but I don’t think I’ll be coming back after today’s experience.

The last time I went I was happy with the service but this time I was rushed I didn't enjoy the experience. The nail polish application was good but I think it should have been done slower I felt like they wanted to move to the next appointment. If you want to be pampered maybe go somewhere else.

My last technician has amazing retention but I couldn't book her in time because I had to urgently get my nails filled for exams (they've grown too long, it was hard to type). So my tips were still nice and stable, but horribly overgrown.

I walked into Sky Nails for the first time today, and decided to give them a try without reading prior reviews. They were able to seat me right away at 5PM with no appointment. Sara (h) tended to my nails and she is SO efficient! She had my nails refilled (hard gel) in an hour.

Sarah was very gentle with me, she’s mindful of heat from the drill bit, no painful or awkward twisting of my arm. With coffin nails, I find that some technicians forget to file down the edges just a little bit so they're not sharp in a way that's easily caught on clothes, but Sarah made sure to soften them a little so there's no risk of poking or snagging without sacrificing the shape! She's friendly and polite as well, made very easygoing small talk with me during our session.

Based on my experience today, I'll definitely be a returning customer as the quality of work and speed of delivery is satisfactory! I'm not there for a luxury experience, I'm there for the outcome, and the Sky Nails team delivered? Thanks again Sarah, I’ll visit again soon!

This is the second time I visited this nail salin and I always regret it.my nails are damaged and my cuticles are not cleaned, My sister came here to get nail set and after 2 weeks it’s starting to fall. I don’t ever want to recommend and I will never come back to this location.

It was a scary experience. The girl applied hand cream on my hand and used the towel to try to “accidentally “take my diamond ring away. Then I realize my ring gone and I asked her, she grab it from that towel …. Immediately.

Good service, the ladies are so kind and friendly.
I love the work, my nails looks very cute.

The pedicure was lovely and done with precision by a young employee.
Different staff member did the manicure which was quite disappointing. There was some communication difficulties and the fingernails ended up a little short and a different shape. Another staff member applied the gel polish. The colour was great but the application left a lot to be desired. Didn’t always follow the cuticle line and didn’t cover nails evenly. Will not return to this salon.

I was originally referred to Sky Nails over 20 years ago by a friend and have been a regular ever since.the owner and staff are always friendly and kind and I have never had anything but the most awesome manicure. I've referred tons of people as I am always being asked where "where I got my beautiful nails done".

I really love the services here. The staffs are friendly, the manager is great. I highly recommend this place

I have been going to this nail salon for pedicures for years and have always had a good experience, but today's experience was exceptional! A young man named Kai made me feel very comfortable and did a great job.

They filed into my nail body and broke the nail when trying to take off the gel polish, it burned so much. Prior to this, they were trying to scrape off the gel polish using an extension instead of using acetone to soak it off. Extremely damaging to the nails and unprofessional. Do not come here

They obviously use low quality products because whenever I had my nails done there, they would chip right away. When i have gone back to get it fixed they never apologize and charge me to fix it. This has happened twice already. I tried to give them the benefit of the doubt but they are consistently bad. I also noticed when i would be there, how many people were coming in complaining about the work and were there to get their nails fixed. Horrible quality nails and service. Dont go, save your money.

My girlfriend had just the worst experience.she came in to get her nails done and get her eyebrows tinted. Instantly she could tell how the workers at the salon ignored her entrance in the salon until they noticed her expensive jewelry (shallow). She asked if they did eyebrow tints and they responded with mixed answers, (yes / no) the owner tried to convince her they could do it even though the workers their were convinced they were unable to do it. While my girlfriend was mid nails, the owner walks over and lathers a black liquid all over her eyelids, done very sloppily may I add. Once she began to feel a burning sensation she asked them to remove the strange substance, and they angrily charged her double! Which makes no sense to me considering they were doing her eyebrows WRONG. Since we are both teenagers we are often on the brunt end of ageism, so they yelled at her in store demanding she pay double the cost of the actual treatment, not letting her leave the store otherwise:/ absolutely horrible experience and close to theft. Hope this place gets shut down, reading all these bad comments now and I am amazed.

I have come here for 2 years now, and last week went in to get gel mani pedi done with my mom ($75 per person). Less than a week and the nails are peeling off and chipping easily already (used to last up to a month without peeling). My mom complained that the LED light was painfully hot and the employee just said it is supposed to be hot to set the gel in. I searched online later and learned that heat spikes are NOT supposed to happen and DAMAGE your nails. Very unprofessional! And yeah they only speak with each other in Vietnamese so the service has never been great. But they can't even get something as basic as getting nails properly done. Never coming back here again.
