Alyssa was extremely helpful and helped me get an appointment right away when we had to scramble because my son needed a cleaning. She was very professional and very personable to deal with.

I am always put at ease when I have an appointment. All the staff are welcoming and thoughtful. Dr Kennedy takes time to fully explain what my choices are and the pros and cons so I can make an informed decision as to what I want for a treatment plan.

Meghan, the dental asisstant, is great for calming people with dental anxiety/anxiety in general. I have been a patient for 7 years and had generally good customer service.
However recently as my health has taken a downward spin, its harder to keep appointments without cancelling. I think this was frustrating for them. Initially when I got my husband to call as I was feeling unexpectedly nauseaus, they were cool with the cancellation but forgot to cancel the remaining appointments as we would need to start over given that the time slots were different. But they didn't because they booked longer time slots (jamming multiple treatments into one appointment) even though I told them I couldn't book longer ones because of my pain, discomfort in the chair and health reasons. They then charged me for these until I had a long discussion with Dr. Kennedy to which he decided I could now only book same day appointments, much like his 'paralyzed patients? ' I felt like he was suggesting I was being dramatic. He removed the charges thankfully but left me feeling like I did something wrong as his front staff was crying and suggested she wouldn't agree that I was being kind.

Lately I'm being told that my crowns look like dentures and are too long and opaque by multiple people. Two years ago Kennedy told me if I decided they were too long I could come back and get them thinned at the bottom/shaved down but given our relationship now, I don't even think that's possible. Have to say that I dont feel valued as a customer but more like a burden, as he has frequently suggested if I am unhappy to go to someone else.

As embarassing as this is, I also have PTSD and insomnia so due to my lack of sleep and anxiety, my 'odd' behavior may have put them off. I guess I'm too much lol I agree my health situation complicates things but there was definite error on their part. Instead of trying again with a clean slate and dealing with the occassional cancellation with 24 hrs notice and better communication, I was no longer welcome?

Lovely bunch of dental peoples! They all were amazing! Walked in rinsed my mouth with mouthwash. White leather furniture was nice to see. 3D X-rays were very high tech. Hygienist was very good! Everyone so friendly and great first time!

Had a back tooth extracted! Other than wisdom teeth 35 years ago this was my first tooth removed. The entire staff at Smile are extremely professional from the ladies at the desk to the dental assistant. Dr Kennedy is a kind, patient and gentle dentist. Highly recommend.

Dt Kennedy is friendly, professional and knowledgeable. Amazing with my 3 kids. The office is clean, fresh and welcoming. The staff are amazing. Highly recommend.

The team of dentists, (especially Nathan & Bruce Kennedy,) assistants & staff are extraordinary. Their support, personal care and outstanding dentistry work and consultations suppress any other experience I have had anywhere else in the Lower Mainland and Vancouver Area. There no other place, I would rather take my kids, and continue to work on my smile!:)

I had a full mouth of crowns put in by Dr. Nathan Kennedy. I was extremely impressed with the process from selecting the look of my teeth to getting a free bite adjustment! The results are great! Been coming here for years and I’ve never had a bad experience. The front desk staff are all very friendly and super helpful and the hygienists are very professional and proficient. I’m in and out quickly and my teeth feel great. Dr. Kennedy is my dentist and he’s always been very attentive and professional as well as understanding when I have any questions.

I came to Smile Solutions with a complicated case (after the previous dentists, who either screwed up my gum with an unnecessary bulky bone graft or put me through so much dental pain that I never imagined was possible). The initial idea was to protect worn out enamel on my molars with crowns and to place an implant with a crown in place of a lost tooth. Dr Kennedy never dealt with the implant system I had placed in by a different doctor before, yet he accepted me as a new patient and skillfully managed to finish the remaining 80% of the restoration work. The staff I dealt with is very friendly and helpful. Either the temporary or permanent crowns caused no pain. The bite was adjusted right away and new crowns feel solid and comfortable. Now I have a pretty white smile, which I am grateful for. I have been in at least a dozen dental offices throughout the States and Canada and I can confidently say that he is a wonderful dentist; approachable, gentle, considerate, resourceful and masterful. I would recommend Dr Nathan Kennedy to anyone, any time.

The staff is exceptional - friendly, knowledgeable, and helpful at every turn. It clearly starts at the top and works its way down, because Dr. Kennedy and his dental associates are the same - friendly, helpful, and very professional.
