Dr. Chander and all staff including the dental hygienist and receptionist were friendly and amazing.

Amazing experience! Friendly and child focused staff. Displayed great patience and understanding with my child who’s active and curious… especially in a dentist office. Approached child with compassion and giggles. Have raved about this place to friends already. So thankful I found Smiletown.

Dental Clinic is kid friendly, Staff are super friendly. My daughter loves this place and she did good on her first visit. Dentist is very gentle and knowledgable. I highly recommend going here

The whole dental team was fantastic, they made my child feel welcome the second we walked in. The receptionists, hygienists and dentist were amazing, I'd give 6 stars if that was an option. Highly recommend them!

Tia the hygienist was great and thorough in cleaning my child’s teeth, she wasn’t in a rush and very patient.

This dental clinic is very child friendly and kid-oriented. Their dental hygeinist and dentists are very helpful and gentle. The waiting area can keep the kids entertained while waiting for their appointments so they don't get bored and fussy when it's their turn.

Very bad experience always give appointment in school timings so much of waiting. I am shifted my both kids to other clinic got appointment super fast. Not understanding at all

Doctor Chander is excellent with children, so is his staff. Everyone is welcoming, friendly and polite. Love their layout -makes the whole experience fun for kids. My daughter has always enjoyed her dental appointments!

My 6 year old son feels very comfortable going to the dentist because of the great staff at SmileTown. He started out very fearful when he had to get a lot of work done. Now he's a pro.

After spending the night at bc children's with my daughter for a broken tooth and not having any thing resolved I was feeling quite tired and overwhelmed. I contacted Smiletown and they were very compassionate and able to fit my daughter in last minute. My daughter is 7 and terrified of going to the dentist. The staff were so patient and so friendly. They really know how to work with nervous children.

Excellent office! Majority of the staff is very friendly. The dentist office is a jungle theme and very clean. I wish I had a dentist like this growing up.

My 3 year old literally counts down the days to her next checkup. The staff are amazing and we thoroughly recommend this place to all parents!

I dont usually write reviews but I felt compelled to after my experience.

I am on disability and I had called about an emergency tooth extraction. The person I spoke with didn't know dental procedures and I was given false information on who to contact for coverage information. (This was actually their responsibility, as explained to me by my provider)

After that gets sorted, I receive a call telling me that the dentist will charge double my coverage. When I asked why, this was explained to me as a regular ordinary fee. The cost for an emergency tooth extraction is set out by the individual dentists.

I called to cancel my appointment because I didn't feel comfortable with the cost or the amount of misleading information I had been given.

This time when I called in, I got someone different and they refused to cancel the appointment and put me on hold. I was not given an explanation. I was then put on hold and after 5 minutes until I gave in and hung up. I eventually got a call back, the person seemed to be bothered by me wanting to cancel. This was not a great experience in any way.

The experience with SmileTown Dentistry, has left a bad taste in my mouth.

CAUTION.
This clinic gave my son Nitrous Oxide and conducted major dental surgery (non-emergency) without my knowledge or consent.

BEWARE- they are more than happy to overcharge you and do unnecessary procedures, rather than do simple checks like ask for the other parent's details for the child's file and ask for legal document's confirming guardianship & medical and dental decision-making.

My kids love Smiletown! They have wonderful, friendly staff, who are all amazing at what they do. They care for their patients. They’re very thorough and the office is very clean. We wouldn’t go anywhere else!

Love the patient and knowledgeable staff! My child has quite high anxiety and some days it can be challenging but I feel he’s in good hands.

I bring my daughter here for her procedures and Invisalign treatment, great atmosphere for children, lots of fun things to look at including tablets (shutoff due to covid) and a theatre waiting room. Makes it less intimidating to visit, a dentist office my daughter is actually excited to go to. The staff are all great, they know how to interact with the kids in a fun and calm manner. Reception is very welcoming, I recommend this place if your child is nervous or has other needs regular dentists aren't trained to meet.

Took my daughter here for her first visit and I was very impressed by the kid friendly layout of the clinic. Not only that, the staff were all very welcoming and the service was great! My daughters first experience at the dentist was a very positive one. I was a bit apprehensive at first, not knowing what to expect but the staff explained everything step by step which made me feel reassured and knew my daughter was in good hands! I will definitely keep taking her here!

My daughter absolutely loves coming here for her appointments! The decor is catered to kids and there is a waiting area with a TV for them to watch. The bathroom is very clean and the staff are all very friendly.

The whole team at SmileTown Burnaby are fantastic! Friendly staff are ALL well trained to work with children of all ages and abilities. Lucy at reception went out of her way to make my kids feel special and at ease as soon as we walked through the door. Karen and Hailey did an awesome job of showing them all the tools and walking them through step by step before doing any work. And finally Dr Chandra was kind and patient. I couldn't have imagined a better visit

Amazing staff, caring and understanding! I was really nervous about my daughter getting surgery but they reassured me that everything was OK! I couldn’t imagine taking her anywhere else! Thank you!

We been going to this clinic for 5 years now and my kids love it, they are very good with them and they get very excited for all the prices they get at the end, the decor in the office is amazing too, the staff is very friendly and Dr. Chander is very patient with kids.

We've been bringing our son here since he was five yrs old and we've had nothing but good experience with the staff and dentists. Highly recommended for kids.

Linda the receptionist was wonderful and explained their philosophy of doing it right the first time with prevention in mind. They price at the specialist level, which may or may not be covered with your plan. If they are more than your budget affords then use your family dentist, but still good to keep these guys in mind for those more cumbersome issues with your kids teeth!
