Heidi, a member of his front staff, is a perfect blend of professional and personable. She will go above and beyond to ensure you have positive experience while visiting their clinic. If there is any confusion surrounding dental plans, billings, bookings, etc, she will take the time to ensure that by the end of the conversation, every detail surrounding your visit is understood.

This office is very humble, cozzy & the team is extremely friendly! My first exam as a new patient was mind blowing. He took so many records to examine me 100%. He is definitely up to date with technology & has very advance devices to photograph my teeth to be able to explain things to me. Having travelled a lot in my life, I have had to see several dentist to fix my teeth in different parts of the world, but no one comes close to how Dr. Bhatta changed my life. I have always had extreme fear of needles, but Dr. Bhatta's freezing was painless. Every time I have had white filings in my mouth done, I have always always had sensitivity to cold afterwards. But Dr. Bhatta told me that he put some sort of desensitiser under my filing and therefore it would have smaller risks of sensitivity. Whatever ever it was, it changed my life. I can eat ice cream now:) I have also always had a funny way of closing my teeth together, but he magically also fixed my bite that has now in consequence made me feel like a have less of a desire to clench my teeth together, a bad habit that I know I have. I must say, that if I have to rate this office, it would be a 10 star! I am very happy that I found him to be my dentist!

Dr Bhatta is gentle, extremely professional, tactful, HONEST, down to earth and kind (never pushy.)
His staff are experienced, non-judgemental, and always cheerful.
Its more like visiting old friends when you come in. Rating 11/10 highly recommend him!

Friendly and very understanding people. I really appreciate how fast and efficient they are. And I absolutely loved how they took their time to check everything and inform me about everything I needed to know. I NEVER felt rushed. I really recommend this place if you are looking to be taken care of.

I came to Smiling Creek after a bad experience with another dental office and my situation was extremely time sensitive.

I was trying to get a few things addressed before losing my insurance, and my previous office made mistake after mistake and wasted a lot of the precious time I had left. I needed my problems addressed fast, as I was running out of time.

The team at Smiling Creek was very friendly, fast and efficient, they got my estimates run by my insurance company right away (while for some reason it took my previous office months to get me an answer!). They got me scheduled for a checkup where lovely Kira and Dr. Bhatta listened to my concerns very carefully, and gave me some recommendations. I really like Dr. Bhatta, he has gentle but confident bedside manner that I very much appreciate. The whole place has a great energy, that I find very pleasant. It feels nice being there (yup, in the dental office that is!).

Long and short, in less than a month since I came to see them for the first time, I had a new shiny bridge! Having it in also fixed my bite, which apparently was wrong for months causing me very annoying tension headaches, that started seriously affecting my productivity. And they even managed to get me in for a checkup and a hygiene appointment before my coverage ended.

I was very late during today’s first visit but the dental team was understanding and still accommodated me despite delay. They were warm and very efficient. The office is clean and welcoming. Dr. Bhatta and the Dental Assistant Kira displayed great professionalism and keen in listening to my concerns. They were throrough and informative; explained every single steps they had to do including fees to be incur and goals to achieve high standard oral care. I’m so pleased I read reviews about this clinic and it was a great decision that I chose Smiling Creek Dental.

I have been visiting this office for about 35 years-ever since I was a small child and Dr. Friesen was the kind and very capable dentist there. Dr. Bhatta has owned the practice for some years, now. He is genuinely kind, caring, and smart. He always makes me feel more cheerful when I visit! I had my first visit with the newest dental hygienist-Hannah-today, and she was knowledgeable, cheerful, and very good at moving around my teeth without causing any discomfort at all. Cynthia, the office manager, has the most delightful, positive energy, and is always very pleasant as she works out all the details of my visits there! I am very happy to continue to give Smiling Creek Dental my business, and I recommend it heartily to others!
