The food is great but unfortunately the cashier/waiter guy was rude af. I didnt feel welcome by his attitude. It's really a shame, i really enjoy the food but the cashier/waiter big guys are just the worst customer service Ive ever had at any ramen shop

Tried the Ramengers Spicy Ramen (Hero) and as much as I love spicy it was too spicy for me. Can’t even imagine what the Thor level is like. The egg was cold and took me by surprise. Hoping to come back and try out their other ramens because I feel like I missed out on better Ramen. The smoked pork was good!

I’ve dined in and gotten take out from here. Their spicy ramen is to die for. It’s literally the best meal for its price. It is also just so comforting.

The meat melts in your mouth and it’s soooo tasty. The eggs are perfectly cooked each time and.the broth! Definitely one of mine and my partner’s favorite places to go to on any occasion.

Amazing. The smoked pork is so soft and textured, spicy chicken so crunchy, and the ramen broth is so light.

Went here for the first time and while the service was good. The ramen was unlike anything I've had before. It has an extremely smokey broth and flavor to it. I would not say it's bad but definitely is not my preference. I would say this ramen is one of a kind and I can see why some people may love it. However personally it was not for me. If you are looking for traditional ramen this is not the place. However if you are a big BBQ fan you may love it.

Lovely spot for ramen with a sizable menu to choose from.

What stood out to me was the quality of meat being used. Very flavourful and quite generous portions. For the price, this place is definitely worth a try. Staff are friendly and accomodating.

To note, for those spice lovers.the hero level spice packs quite a punch so be mindful of that. I would also challenge anyone to try the thanos level spice. I would assume it'll turn you into a rocket come 4 hours.

The food is so good for such affordable price. The waitress was very friendly and service was excellent. Their smoked pork is a must try. I would definitely return to try other dishes.

The best ramen I’ve had in the Tricities lately. Soup was flavourful, noodles delicious, egg cooked to perfection, and tender smoky pork slices. Quick, no fuss service. Plenty of parking either out front or at nearby street. The only area of improvement would be the ventilation and relatively dark lighting in the restaurant. I will definitely come again when in the area.

I have to say, this is a very good understated restaurant. My teenager son goes there twice every week, two bowls each time. Best ramen across Canada!

Love going here. Food is great and always cool to see mans working here. Place is chill and menu is simple but good. Smoked pork is a must try!

This place is a hidden gem. The flavours are so different from what you would generally find for ramen. Generally you can find a table and it is family friendly. My favourite dish has to be the perilla or spicy perilla ramen and the smoked pork is the best out there.

What a cool, quiet spot to get a cozy, home-style ramen. The interior is like their home, very warm-family vibe. They pride themselves on their smoked meat, and the flavor was phenomenal. I wish they were busier but the location is not walking friendly. A must stop on the way to errands to quench my ramen craving.

$22 got me a small bowl of Ramen and 6 fried dumplings. The food was good, but nothing special. I should have got twice as much for that price.

If you blink, you'll miss it. The first thing you notice as you walk into this little place is the wood smoke aroma from their pork smoker oven (hence the aka name The Smoking Pig). I had the signature Rameners Ramen, delish. The topings come separate, so you can pick and choose. I'd like it a little warmer and the egg a little softer. The smoked pork is awesome, and the sweet pickled onions were a nice surprise.
Fun decor with lots of action figures, vintage comic posters, and even a punching bag!

This ramen shop is a gem. We've been to a lot of ramen shop cause hubby is always on the hunt for ramen. He grew up in Japan so he's super picky with his ramen and this is one of his top 3 ramen shops.

Santouka and Ramengers are my favorites. I think this is better than Danbo personally. If you like Ippudo from Japan, this ramen style is very similar. The broth is creamy but not too heavy. The noodles are not soggy. The egg is legit ajitama, and the chashu here is the best of all the ramen I've had so far.

Also, the basic ramen (~$12) comes with a whole ajitama egg + 4 topings!?

The service is great too. The owner is very polite and attentive. He's not super chatty or anything but as an introvert - I don't mind it one bit.

Support local businesses! Very great value, owner is nice and I love the concept. A place where things are a little less serious! Will come back!

Have such mixed feelings about this restaurant. The “win” here is the smokey chashu. Great flavour and definitely unique for a ramen shop. It’s the reason why you would come and visit.

Unfortunately, that’s about the only reason why you’d come. The noodles are cooked too soft and there wasn’t enough soup within the bowl…not to mention the soup was lukewarm at best.

But the biggest turnoff was the front of house staff. The moment we walked in, the gentleman running the shop was extremely rude. We told him we were a table of 3 and instead of a “hello” or any other greeting, his one line response to us was “there’s a wait. ”

Things proceeded to get worse with every other interaction thereafter while we were ordering, but none worse than when we asked if we could add an extra egg to our order. The response was a blunt, single lined response, “we don’t sell eggs. ” Even if that were the case, there are so many other ways to inform a customer that could show that you actually care about dining experience.

Unfortunately there are many ramen options out there, experience matters. This will be a one and done visit.

Service was a joke, might have been a one off but I don't think ive experienced such a rude waiter. Sucks because ramen was delicious, could have been an ace.

The service is rude. We asked if we can add an extra egg and got the impression it was ridiculous question. I went to pay and the server asked me which table I was from even though there are only 4 tables and he’s the only server who seated us. Food is pretty good, chashu is Smokey but noodles are overcooked and limp

Would not have gone into this place if a friend had not invited me. So glad I went. Unbelievable smoked pork - better than bacon! My son practically lives off packaged ramen and I had to take him here. He was totally blown away. Can’t wait to go back.

Ramen with smoked pork. It works! Delicious. The egg was medium soft, just right. Smoked pork on the side. Dumplings were meh, but the rest of the meal made up for it. Will come back.

Visited last weekend to enjoy some ramen on a rainy cold day. Definitely hit the spot with their spicy ramen and spicy perilla ramen.

Not really a lot of options but, what they offer is good as is. Good size portions as well considering the price too. Loved the broth for both bowls as well as the noodles. I don't do too well with spicy so I just got their regular spice level which worked our fairly well. Noodles were cooked just right same with the egg too. The chashu that comes with it has a nice smoked/char flavour as well which was an awesome surprise. Chashu was also fall apart tender, enjoyed that very much.

One thing you do have to try is the smoked pork they have on their menu. Probably one of their specialties which also has a limit of 1 order. Absolutely loved it. Melts in your mouth. I wish I'd ordered mine with rice as that would have paired with it so well. Will need to come back just to try this again.

Dumplings were not bad. Would prefer pan fried.

Best Ramen! Bold full of flavor broth. Perfect for rainy days. My new fav spot, especially considering its less than 10 min away and its local.

This place is sweet. The ramen is solid. Don't mess with the Thanos spicy, just start with the hero spicy.

5/5 for the smoked pork. Definitely worth a detour to get this, specifically. Moist, melt-in-your-mouth, smoky sweet pork belly!

The cold noodle was also pretty satisfying: firm noodles, tangy and light for hot summers.

Spicy perilla ramen was ok but the noodles were a bit soft.

The menu seems to be different than what is shown online, perhaps it changed due to COVID status, but there is not too wide of a selection; a very focused menu. Would be nice to see at least a vegetarian option, or indicate what can be adapted to vege. The cold noodles can probably work as a vegetarian option (replace egg and pork with other toppings?)

Exterior belies the kitschy cute interior, which is comic book/superhero themed; comfortable with AC. A few parking spots outside. Across the street from Mackin Park.

Excellent ramen the pork is very very good and they give you a decent sized slab of it with some of the belly as well which has amazing flavour. The egg is done perfectly with the gelled yolk. Noodles are proper. Try the perilla ramen.

Pretty neat place, I got it delivered due to the current circumstances, so that may have affected the quality of the ramen, but overall it was quite satisfying. I got the hero spice ramen, which I assume is one of, if not the spiciest they offer and it lived up to its name; very spicy, but nothing that can't be handled if you like spicy food normally. Quite flavorful too despite the amount of spice added AND it came with a whole egg as opposed to half an egg, sweet. Definitely not my first choice for ramen but if I'm in the area, why not have it?

Tasted like homemade ramen. Service was great. Fried chicken is not what your expecting, but tasty nonetheless. Well deserving of 4 stars. The guy even gave us a couple juice boxes because we were going to eat in the park!

I like the spicy ramen. The hero heat is as spicy as I ever go. Rich broth and the roast pork is awesome. Lots of variety in toppings and tender flavourful eggs. The fried chicken is the hidden gem here. Light crispy panko crust over juicy chicken. Try the salt and pepper. It stands up very well on it's own without sauce. We've been waiting patiently for restaurants to open up and it was absolutely worth the wait. Thanks again!

Came here 3 weeks ago and the ramen was great. Very disappointed to come back and find the toppings have changed. The pork before was great. But chewy what felt like beef on a stick wasnt so great. Broth tastes different too. After calling back to the restaurant inquiring and voicing my disappointment i wasnt offered anything. Wont be returning ever again.

Service is disgraceful. They are rude, inhospitable and have bad attitude! If you try to mention anything wrong you are met with combative aggression from a server that looks like he just left prison a week ago. Don’t bother giving them your time or money when there are so many better places to try!

Very bad services and not very good/ traditional ramen either, I would recommend Kintaro Ramen from downtown if you want eat some good ramen, they are super busy but worth to wait in line and service kept up to standard even very busy, compare to this one.service bad and food bad.

Wow, really didn't expect too much from this place but left thoroughly impressed. At first glance from the outside it doesn't even look like a restaurant. Inside decor is ok, older but clean. Menu is simple, not too many options to choose from which we prefer. Got 2 bowls of ramen, fried chicken and the smoked pork. Ramen came out seconds after we ordered it and boy, absolutely delicious. Broth is tasty and not overly salty like so many other ramen restaurants. Excellent noodles which I believe the menu states are made in house, has a very nice chew to it. Didn't expect 3 meaty pieces of chashu in each bowl, along with an egg and extra toppings for no extra cost. The fried chicken was also stellar, nice meaty pieces fried well. The honey garlic sauce was good, not great but the chicken was so good we didn't mind. The smoke pork was melt in your mouth, highly recommend. Overall very impressed. Friendly staff, for what looks like a 2-man operation it's efficient and the food is very good. Highly recommend.

We enjoyed the food, ramen was tasty and dumplings were good! Unfortunately I was not impressed by the service, the guy working was unprofessional, I have a feeling that if there's a different server, the restaurant would do much better.

Not sure what is with the bad reviews. Ramengers has consistently delicious Ramen with an ever changing menu containing a few staples. The service is wonderful and the fellow always has a smile on his face. The vibe is very hip and the music choices are so varied I feel like everyone can be pleased.

I'd suggest trying for yourself without writing it off from the reviews, because I personally haven't really had better Ramen, which is especially inconsistent in the tri cities.

Weird taste, rarely any noodles inside and Very unwelcoming. The chubby bald Asian guy was pretty rude and didn't even bother to check on me once.

Definitely not coming back even if the service was good. Still wouldn't have came back
