What a great store! I am so happy that I have found it! Everyone made me feel welcome and special as soon as I walked in. They have a great assortment of fabulous fabric of excellent quality on bolts and pre-cuts. It was all candy for the eye! They offer sewing lessons as well which I am looking forward to try! I can’t wait to go back!

A big shout out to Perry for putting the new piece into my machine so fast! When I phoned I was told it would take a couple of days - my husband took my machine in and Perry was there and put the new piece in in ten minutes while my husband waited! Perry you are amazing and we are so fortunate to have such an amazing repair man so close by.thank you.thank you.thank you! From one very happy customer.

I needed fabric to start sewing again after years of not sewing the Lady there was very helpful, knowledgeable, and friendly. This is a really lovely store, lots of selections I had fun today.also met the owner she was very friendly. Great experience over all.

Kathy and Perry always are so kind and helpful, as are the rest of their staff. They have so much patience with me haha. From my Brother machine when I first started going to their shop (that machine was such a headache! Thanks for looking at it Perry. She's running fine finally.), to my Janome that the boys put an entirely new motor and upper rods in so it runs like hot butter. I cannot thank them enough. I snag all my notions there, threads, needles, batting/foams, interfacing etc. It's just worth it. Stop in and look around, I'm no quilter, but their selection of fabrics are beautiful for some serious quilting action. Thank you all for always being so helpful and making me always feel welcome.

This is the best place to shop for great quality fabric for my quilts and other projects. They take the time to help me choose a fabric for the backing. I have been shopping here for years and found all Staff very friendly and helpful.

Good luck getting served here unless you have at least half an hour of time to waste. Invariably staffed by one person only who is always tied up at the till. Been here four times and will never return. Fabricland's back!

I had an issue come up which was handled quickly and courteously. The owners went above and beyond. Excellent, friendly customer serivce. I'll be back.

Very helpful staff and wonderful selection in a newly renovated store! They have been amazing at helping a novice find just what they needed and never oversell me on anything that I don't. To the reviewer below: stick to your dollar stores we don't need ya!

VERY limited selection. Very! In fact I've been to dollar stores with more sewing inventory (Qualicum). Notions, tools, basic sewing necessities, nope none or limited. And the female staff lady was useless.old gal came in looking for elastic.she said only behind the counter yet there was bolts of it on the wall to buy specific amount. Don't bother going here if you're a real sewer. Older man staff was nice.

I was unable to fix my two Kenmore sergers, but Perry fixed them up wonderfully! It is so nice to have them back in good-as-new condition again!

It was a pleasure to deal with these guys. Their a friendly, honest business. Well worth the trip from Langford to get my machine serviced. I’ll be continuing to go back. TY for the great service

I love the atmosphere and friendliness of the staff. Willing to answer all your questions. They offer a great variety of classes with amazing teachers. The fabric selection is out if this world.

Recently took a class at Snip and Stitch and was so pleased with the quality of the teaching. I was able to put the new skills I learned to use right away and the results were amazing. Class was Binding Basics with Cathy.

The staff are nearly always condescending, its very much a snobby "sewing club" vibe in the store and I get the same rude treatment over the phone as well. I never feel good after interacting with the staff from this store.

I have been struggling to find someone to fix my serger.my right hand for my sewing business! So glad to pick it up today back in working order! Yay! Thank you!

The greatest quilt store on Vancouver Island. Fantastic staff that I feel are my friends, a great selection of fabrics and accessories are wonderful. Sign up for the newsletter and find what great things are happening next. The classes are so much fun with teachers that are very helpful with lots of great tips to make things easier.
If you are not into quilting and sew clothing is what you enjoy doing the choice of fabrics and patterns are beautiful and the teachers are very knowledgeable on how to fit patterns perfectly to your body. If you are new or experience at quilting or sewing this is the place for you. The minute you walk in the door and see the latest ideas all over the walls for lots of inspiration you know you are at the right place.

My elderly sewing machine is up and running again for the price of a "general service". (Thanks S + S!)
