Yummy gelatto with a lot of tastes. If I had a time, I would go there everyday and try to taste everything. Cones are crunchy, gelattos are chewy. Very famous that maybe wait around 10~ 15 minutes.
Too much milk taste. All bases are same basically no matter what color you get you are eating the same ice cream. It is a little expensive for the size as well.
Ordered their Mudslide and April special flavour, Ube. It was decent, but the Ube could’ve had more flavour/sweetness to it. They could’ve also layered the cereal in between rather than have it sit at the bottom.
Stopped in to try the ube soft serve, but left disappointed as the flavor was very weak. You barely get the essence of the purple potato, but the coconut and biscoff toppings were nice added toppings. For $8, I would pass and get a proper ube dessert (halo halo).
The ladies made the sundaes quiet efficiently with a steady stream of customers on a warm weekend evening in Gastown. The space itself looks unkempt as boxes and supplies are stacked up haphazardly for all to see.
Amazing soft ice cream. They have different flavors and some of them change from time to time. Been there few times already and always had a great experience. Also pretty cool that they are open till late.
They have a nice place. It was clean and organized. The dark chocolate is my favorite and I always partner it with strawberry milkshake. It was such a delicious treat for me. I also recommended the place to my colleagues and I'm looking forward to hear their experience at this superb ice cream place.
My friend told me about this place because I'm having an extreme ice cream cravings lately. I love the many selection of syrups and toppings here. The blueberry ice cream was so delicious and I am so glad I went here. The staff here were so kind as well and the price is just right.
It's a cute place with fun soft serve available with different toppings. It's a little basic for the price though, and it basically starts getting puddly as soon as it's handed to you (possibly because it has more natural ingredients). I mentioned to them that all the ice cream flavors except for vanilla are ALWAYS gone when I go (I live nearby so I've been a number of times), and their reaction sort of made it sound like it's my fault somehow. One time they asked what flavor I want but were like oh we don't have that, oh we're out of chocolate too, actually we only have vanilla. I wouldn't complain about it except that it's expensive so I start to wonder why I'm bothering to buy it if it just tastes like the same vanilla ice milk you can get anywhere with some basic toppings. I would only recommend it if the organic aspect is important to you.
Soft serve ice cream shop. Ice cream is good but a little expensive. We tried the honey, blueberry and matcha one. The milk flavored one is better. Chocolate is too overpowering. Tried it because we came all this way but wouldn't try again.
The idea of the place is nice but the ice cream is like so basic and nothing special and the earl grey not good at all. A little bit sad that it was not good.
Super rich soft serve. I got the chocolate vanilla twist with cereal. Thought it was a little weird the cereal was all at the bottom and I had to dig for it, but this was a technicality. Next time I'd like to try a plain vanilla ice cream with a syrup
Blackcomb and Honeycomb Peak. Both so yummy. No sitting allowed inside when we went and it’s cold out now, so wasn’t expecting to enjoy ice cream shivering outside
Stumbled upon this place. I got the organic milk with no toppings and it was really good. The milk definitely tasted high quality with the soft serve denser and heavier than most places I’ve tried. The cereal at the bottom was better than I expected when mixing it. My wife didn’t like how it was less sweet than typical soft serve but that was a plus for me. Next time I’m getting the honey as I think that would go really well having had the plain.
Very good soft serve and chocolate sauce. Won me over with the fresh honeycomb. Also one of the few places where you pay for takeout without being presented with a tip option.
Soft Peaks (in Gastown) serves almost exclusively soft ice cream in chocolate, "milk" or twist. Then they have a variety of flavours on top which are mostly just flavours of sweet. The ice cream is good, although not amazing, and it's a nice treat if you're down there. They also have milkshakes.
The store always seems a bit cluttered and messy. It could really benefit from some love. Staff are great and always helpful.
Phenomenal.i grew up in europe and it reminds me of high quality european ice cream.soft serve isn't too sweet and the toppings make up for it.i had the california sunrise with mango soft serve and it was divine.went on sunday june 27 in the evening and service was quick.my only complaint- i had to ask if i can add a tip on my card.if you're the owner reading this- please make debit/credit tip options more accessible for your customers so your hard working employees can get the appreciation they deserve ;)
Very disappointed with the two Yuzu flavour soft serve ice cream that we purchased yesterday. The service was quick and polite but the ice cream did not live up to your reputation.
The Yuzu flavour tasted like it was premade which could be purchased from TNT or other Asian supermarkets. The Yuzu covered the creaminess of the dark chocolate and organic milk ice cream twist. I recommend to tone down the sweetness of the Yuzu to compliment the ice cream. We may come back to try the other flavours, but it is quite low on our "to try" list due to this poor experience.
The soft serve has no flavor. It's just frozen milk. And it's overpriced considering how underwhelming it is. 3 of us ate there and none of us liked it.
Absolutely delicious. Tried the honeycomb one and it was SO SO SO good. The soft serve is thick and filling and flavorful without being too sweet. Can't wait to go back
Server got me very confused while trying to make a choice … why so many different options when you have already decided to overspend your ice cream budget … then only some Apple Pay tap option to close the sale … cancelled my order went over to Bills Grocery and got a tub of Ben & Jerry’s (Cherry Garcia) a Jarritos Lime drink a spoon for $11.25 bobs your uncle
It's one of the best place to go for. I had Blackcomb with dark chocolate. It was really best ice cream I ever had in Vancouver. I suggest if you want to have ice cream visit this place.
Delicious soft serve! I had their seasonal mango flavour and it was sooo good. Topped with coconut flakes and chunks of mango. The small size was perfect for me - great after dinner dessert while walking around Gastown.
Had the tirimisu ice cream that states "home made toppings". It was just a half of a lady finger stuck in the ice cream. Ice cream was very tasty.just have to work on the toppings.
Updating based on the owners response.while all of that does sound absolutely amazing, I only had the ice cream, coco powder and lady finger on mine. None of the other items were provided. Would have been a 5 star rating if I had gotten what was described. Dropping another star due to knowing now that I didn't even get what I paid for.
The best soft serve ice cream I've had in Canada! It was so smooth and creamy near perfection! The flavors are all very unique, the one I got comes with a piece of real honeycomb. Highly recommend this place for great ice cream in Vancouver!
Ice cream taste test. This cute ice cream shop in gastown has organic vanilla soft ice cream, topped a number of ways. Ice cream's always a tasty, but I wouldn't say this is number 1 on my list.
Cute little spot for soft serve located in gastown and tucked away in a corner. Was in a mood for ice cream on a sunny Vancouver day, and decided to pop by. I ordered the small matcha mori ($6.25) which comes with a matcha mochi cookie and a matcha shot over the soft serve. I opted for the twist (milk & matcha) and it was super yummy! Good creamy taste, prominent matcha flavor and not too sweet!
The ice cream really taste like real and fresh milk! Really like it! But I missed that store didn’t have the waffle cone available! They have a really good variety of flavours and I really enjoyed the experience of trying ice cream with corn flakes!
Great little ice cream shop in Gastown. They serve soft serve ice cream, milk shakes, and milk bars. Their soft serve ice cream only comes in three flavors: organic milk, dark chocolate, and swirl. We opted for the regular size at $7.50 and it was plenty to feed 2 people. The small was $6.50. They really shine in their unique toppings, like matcha green tea powder, honey comb, yuzu marmalade, and maple syrup. There's only 2 tables inside the shop, so I assume most people take theirs to go. I've seen lines outside on warm days, but its good to support local!
Overpriced for what it is. Got the honey comb cone and spent over $7 - said that it came with the honey cone chunk and cereal flakes. When I had asked why there was no cereal flakes she said she needed to charge me extra? Even though the menu said it came with them? Go to McDonald’s and get a soft serve there instead.
We also stood at the counter and waited for at least 5 minutes before getting any service even though there were 3 girls working behind the counter (it wasn’t a busy time. We were the only ones waiting)
This ice cream is da bomb! The best ice cream in Gastown. Love the marshmallows in ice cream with chocolate drizzle, yummy! A must try for anyone venturing into Gastown.
You can really taste the difference between this soft serve ice cream and other places like Costco or McDonald's, etc. The soft serve itself is creamy, simple and delicious! I did find that I was underwhelmed by the way the toppings were served. Overall though, it's worth a try!
It was alright, kind of what you expected (more for the gram than for the taste). The ice cream was fresh and decent, although the matcha taste was a bit too light for my taste.
BEST! I visit this place every time I'm in gastown the ice cream is delicious I suggest the honeycomb menu with a vanilla and chocolate twist there is also a place upstairs for photos and the ice cream itself is very instagram worthy they use avalon milk for their ice cream so you dont have to worry about the quality the employees are also very nice
I tried a honeycomb peak twist ice cream and it is around 7 dollars which i thought a bit pricey for the amount of the ice cream however, the quality of the ice cream was pretty good and it comes with a piece of honey comb that pumps more sweetness although as the icecream was cold the honeycomb started getting hardened quickly and it gave me hard time to eat the whole honeycomb. For the next time I would try just original soft icecream.
I hate ice cream. I really do. But after having the tiramisu soft serve here I started to get cravings. I wish I was kidding. I'm willing to risk diabetes (family history, but I digress) to have the tiramisu again and again.
I take my wife down to Gastown to get dessert here, we usually come late before they close, I found everything there to be very tasty! Hot chocolate is very good too with roasted marshmallows! Well, this time I went the blow torch did not work so I got an extra marshmallow in place of that, but was still good!
Honestly, it would take a lot for me to give anywhere that sells ice cream less than 5 stars, but they are really doing a great job here. Huge fan of combining cereal and maple syrup with the vanilla soft ice cream. Would eat again.
Wife took me and my daughter.in my visit to Van. This place makes some good dang ice cream. It's a toss up between this and choclifino. In all of western Canada. Like it's that good.
Delicious soft serve with a good selection of toppings. Clean shop and helpful staff. You really can't go wrong with some Tim Tams or a slice of honey comb!
