I've had the absolute pleasure of having my nails done by Polly since I first visited the salon. Her attention to detail and the precision of her technique are truly exceptional. I've had my nails done by Polly once a month for about two years now and I will come back 1000 times again to have my nails done by her. You're the BEST, Polly!

I had a great first experience with Mimi K at soho. Mimi did exactly what I asked for, was a kind fun companion, and did an exceptional job!
Most recently, I've seen Vicki at Soho. I love the attention to detail and the precise work on my cuticles. Her hard work creates a beautiful finish, and my nails last longer because of it

My girlfriend came to SOHO nail and spa to do her nails. However, the design she had in mind when she showed to the nail technician is different from what she got. Not only is the design different, but she was also appointed to another technician because the reserved tech was still busy. She and I were not happy overall. Will not come back again.

So I have been here half a dozen times and I usually have a good experience with my usual technician but this time I saw a new person and was a bit of disbelief.

I was going to get an express manicure, when the nail technician cut into the skin of my finger, photo attached, and when she went to file the nail down instead of using acetone for that finger, the electric filer pulled the nail out even further and cause even more pain/blood.

Never have I had this happen in 20 years of getting my nails done! Lol. I “only” got charged $10 instead of their $20 to remove the shellac polish. $10 to get injured!

I love it here and it's super clean. They follow correct sanitizing, which most places do not. Very relaxing

I walked in looking for a pedicure and happened to come the day they opened after a renovation! It’s beautiful and spacious, nicely organized and appointed. I was immediately greeted by my technician and asked what I wanted, and they quickly got to work setting me up with a clean chair, with good sanitation in place. The tubs are lined and I got new tools, and they wore gloves. They did a great job and was very patient when I was squirming because I am ticklish. She was friendly and did a beautiful job. They used a heated dryer to help dry my polish as I was wearing closed-toed shoes. When I went to pay, I found out they offer student discounts! I will definitely be back for a manicure!

I really like the service there. After renovation, the salon looks more airy and luxury. They offered me tea or coffee to enjoy my nails better. I felt very relaxed and Lucy took a good care of my nails. We discussed about which shape I wanted. I didn't like the almond shape, but I also didn't want it to be pointy. She met my needs! I'd definitely be back!?

Amazing experience! There was a slight unexpected issue during my appointment, and they quickly fixed it and offered a good discount! The customer service is always excellent, as well as the quality of service. My nails always last for Atleast a month, and never chip/tear!

I stopped by the salon on my way to see a client. I requested the Hailey Bieber nails. It looks nice, but only last one week until the middle finger’s nail polish started chipping? Been to many salons in downtown and this is the first time I tried something outside downtown Van but it was quite pricey. I think I paid >100$ for services I usually pay $60-$75 max

While the staff are very polite and good at what they do (when they actually do it) in my opinion, if you request a less popular shape or colour, you politely get coerced into doing something THEY want to do. I cannot keep paying $$$ for something that is not to my satisfaction. I have booked at least a dozen appointments at this salon. I’d like to think after the first couple appointments I would not have to beg to not have my nails filed into pizza shape (stiletto). Not everyone finds that’s attractive. It doesn’t suit everybody. Also, do not offer chrome option to clients, if all you have in the salon is gold powder. I think everything starts with management. I realize this is a business and a business must profit. However, to charge full price for something that is not satisfactory (and I made this clear and was not offered a discount or any other form of solution to my dissatisfaction) is not how one should profit. That’s not how you keep clients coming back. To dismiss a client’s complaint tells people you don’t care. I won’t be returning.

The first time I came to Soho I had a great experience at this place! Though the prices are quite high it’s really worth it! It was very relaxing and the staff were very friendly! I would definitely recommend this place it’s amazing and great customer service! The nails look amazing and the design just looks incredible!

Way overpriced. Only had a nail polish shellac change and pinky tip fix, that cost me $83 after tip. I usually pay around $50-$55 for that service at my old place. They didn’t even cut my cuticles or soak.

I’ve been going to Vicky for over a year and will never go anywhere else. My nails used to crack and bend until she started me on Bio Gel and now they’re strong, healthy, and I always get compliments on them. I’ve also seen Miyu when Vicky has been away and did an equally phenomenal job! Soho also uses actual Bio Gel, I’ve been to some salons in the past where they advertise they do but it’s not the real thing!

Quality of service has seriously gone down. I think maybe a majority of the techs are new but definitely disappointing. Cuticles have bleed the last 3 times I’ve gone (different tech each time) Will not be going back again.

Vicky does superb work on my nails; her attention to detail is excellent and I've left each time with exactly what I asked for - natural looking gel extensions - which are difficult to achieve due to the shape of my nailbed. She even thinned them down a touch recently when I made a comment about not being able to perform a task at work due to having nail extensions, which has definitely made a difference! Having been to quite a few nail techs, I appreciate her concentration and dedication to getting things just right. If you're looking for someone with serious skills and who listens to your needs, Vicky is the one for you.

I have to admit that the pricing menu can be confusing, it seems like everything is an add on; and it adds up quickly. Soho is more expensive than the other options in the area, but makes up for it with the skill and expertise of their staff.

Can't wait to get a fun vacation set next!

Really disappointed with #sohobeauty! They told me that gel removal was free AFTER getting my Gel nail service! But once I booked the removal service, they said that I had to pay for the removal! It's so upsetting to ask beforehand if there would be a charge and then be told something different after. Not impressed!

A comfortable, highly attentive place to get your nails done. The technicians are highly knowledgeable and they last for around 3 weeks!

The product used on the nails “gel” and “acrylic” were too hot on the nails it feels like it’s burning. On other salons, I didn’t have problems. I just hope they change their products for future clients. Also the price is supper high! $70 for only a gel polish? ! Seriously

I had a gel manicure done here. The technician, Maryna, is highly skilled and confident in her abilities. I showed her what I wanted and she proceeded to get it done perfectly. The front desk service is also great.

I got a new set of hard gel extensions. Mimi was so amazing. I have really small nails. She didn’t make my cuticles bleed, which has never happened before (even sets done by more expensive technicians). She’s really attentive and was able to recognize right away when I was uncomfortable. She’s also really good at shaping the gel. Almost no bubbles. Honestly, super high caliber work.

The girl that did my pedi was super nice. Customer service was great! Only issue is I came home and the bottom of my feet are still rough. The price of a pedicure here is almost $20 more than anywhere else I’ve gone. Which is fine. As long as the product is that much better. I won’t be going back or recommending this place for that reason. Very unimpressed!

Went in to get a gel overlay. Description in their website was not accurate so they didn’t have enough time for the service I asked for. Regardless, the tech Miz Wang or something, did something on my nails to substitute the gel overlay and it was the worst experience I ever had in my life other than going to Stanley nails a while back. When I finally found a new nail tech and she saw what soho did to my nails she took pictures to put in her “what no to do” file. It was horrendous and ridiculously overpriced. I would NEVER go here again or recommend it to my worst enemy. Ugh.

They were able to accommodate my needs for both nail services and a facial. The staff and estheticians were friendly and I was very pleased with the results!

I really like this salon. They seem to have really strong COVID-19 protocols and procedures to ensure staff and clients remain safe and healthy. The quality of services was also very high. I had a regular elegant mani-pedi combo. The service lasted 2 hours and the nail clinician (Angela) was very professional. My nails and cuticles look and feel clean (no smudging, no cuts).

My technician, Kayo, was absolutely fantastic. Very precise and gentle. She was so patient, gave me excellent advice on my questions, and gave me everything I asked for (eg: capping the free edge of my nails). I left with a totally exquisite manicure.

The prices are a little higher than other places but you absolutely get what you pay for! One of the highest quality manicures and customer experiences I've ever had. The receptionist even let me try on different nail polish colors while I was waiting for my appointment and the store was quiet.

This place is so cute! I had a facial, gel extension mani and gel pedicure. All the services were done well and the staff were all sweethearts. The space was clean & tidy and they are following COVID-19 guidelines diligently. I felt safe and taken care of and my skin & nails looked great

The staff here are so wonderful. The space is cute and very clean. The management is also very organized and have a good insurance policy around their services.

Never had a bad experience going to Soho Nail Boutique. They are always kind, informative, and take their job seriously. Only downside is the price points are just a little bit too high to stay sustainable- ie it's hard to come often. Would still highly recommend.

I have been getting my nails done at Soho Nail Boutiqe for years now and it's the only salon I go to. All of the technicians are extremely professional and always to listen to what I want. Each time I get my nails done, I leave feeling satisfied knowing I recieved a great service. My last experience with a gel manicure has blown me away! I got my nails done on November 17th and have an appointment on December 15th. My gel manicure has lasted almost an entire month with ZERO chips or lifting. Amazing! If I could give ten stars, I would.

Angela did a great job recommending nail accent colour coordination to match my dress for a special event. I love them! The staff were all very friendly and the service was high quality. I will definitely be going back.

I've been struggling to find a nail salon in the city that specializes in Bio-Gel and has hours that fit my schedule, but I'm so glad I found Soho! Miz was so thorough with my nails, and listened when I explained that I needed my nails built up so I don't bite/pick at them. She helped make sure I picked a colour that worked well with my skin tone, as well - I've never experienced that attention to detail! I will definitely be going back.

I’ve been a regular here for 3 years, but recently I was VERY disappointed with the quality of service I received. I’ve been charged with the removal of the UV nail extension, even though I did not have any? I did have a hard gel base, but this IS different from UV nail extensions, and it takes a lot less time and resources to take off. So charging me with additional $33 is just ridiculous! I do understand if they would tell me about the additional price before they started removing the polish, but they told me that HALF WAY THROUGH, which is unbelievable, because if I knew this advance there is no way I would go along with it. Very sad with this rip off and bad service, not going to return.

I have been going here for a few months to get my eye lashes done, but I have stopped, as its expensive and they don't last for longer than 2 weeks. If they were half the price, then OK. I have tried both ladies and every time, they start falling out within a few days. By 3 weeks, you essentially need a brand new set. At most other places, I can usually get away with not getting a top up for 6 weeks. I follow the care instructions and have been getting my eye lashes done for years, so I know the drill. It's a shame, because they do a nice job, but it's just not worth it.

Perfection at its finest. Amy and Angela are great nail estheticians. It's in the pricier side but it's worth every penny to me.

Travelled a crossed town to have my nails done there as I’ve heard good things about the boutique and am very happy with my mani and pedi! The nail technicians are very professional and super friendly, love the colours they picked out for me and great relaxing atmosphere!

Soho is my new found gem place to get my nails done. Their technicians and junior technicians are very professional, patient and most of all very willing to listen to customers’ needs and requirements. The store is clean, comfortable and modern chic. Highly recommend this place!

Got my nails done originally by Behnaz (purple nails) who was so kind and helpful, she even told me ways to protect my nails and self from getting damaged while i do daily physical activities. Then I returned to get them filled by the junior tech Hee Soo Kim (green nails) who often checked in to make sure I liked what she was doing and took feedback well. Had a great gel manicure by Daisy this week! She was thoughtful, careful and showed great attention to detail. I was impressed! I thought the price was reasonable for the service provided and pleasant environment. The colour selection for gel polishes was also fantastic and all tools properly sterilized.

I got a pedicure here and it was a great experience! Reasonably priced, gorgeous setting and super friendly staff. Quinn did a GREAT job on my toes! Super attention to detail. Will absolutely go back.

I took my daughter and 2 friends for a teen birthday party and they enjoyed it immensely. The nails all looked great as well! Price was reasonable.

I was very disappointed in the service I received at this nail salon. The nail technician filed off the existing nail polish I had on instead of using polish remover. Then she filed the tops of my nails flat before applying new gel polish. Now that it has been a month since this service, my nails are in the worst shape they have ever been in: they are paper thin, hurt when I touch anything due to the extreme thinness and the nail bed is red as seen through the nail. I emailed a complaint but have never heard back. I will never return to this salon again.

My first time here! The place is nicely designed and clean. Amy did my nails so precisely and took her time to get the perfect shape! She listened to what I wanted and wasn’t rushed to finish like most places.
