A very welcoming staff and atmosphere. All shapes and sizes of people so there is no stigma to already be in shape to go to this gym! I have been with Sooke Fitness for over a decade. If working out in the summer go early to avoid the heat. The setting is nice with the tv's and panoramic view of the hustle and bustle of Sooke. I find the cardio machines great to get the heart pumping and then there are many universal machines for a great circuit so you can get your whole workout in without picking up a dumbbell. If you prefer more advanced workouts the lower level is filled with weights for the serious body builder.

I've been a member of Sooke Health & Fitness for 11 years. Staff always give a warm greeting and are always there to provide instruction and assistance on the use of the facilities. Update equipment and cleanliness throughout provides the perfect environment for achieving your fitness goals.

Sooke Health & Fitness is the best gym I have ever attended, and I have attended many over the years. The facility is kept extremely clean, (during Covid they went way above and beyond.) The staff are wonderful, friendly, helpful, and cheerful. The equipment is kept in excellent condition, and all I need for my workout is there. Also great ventilation, which helps a lot in the warmer months. I would recommend anyone looking to join a gym to definitely give them a try, you will not be disappointed.

Fantastic staff — friendly, positive, supportive, and motivating. Great selection of equipment to use. Always tidy. I really appreciate the 24-hour access, as well. We’re very lucky to have a place like this in town.

Great gym, close to home so makes it more convenient to get there. Lots of different machines to choose from. They have a weight room down stairs with a few other bikes as well. Staff are amzing and friendly, always saying hi if there not busy. If you like to tan, they got a new stand up bed as well as a laying down bed. Place is pretty clean every time I’m their.

Great Gym! Have been going for years! It has a very good atmosphere, friendly staff and very clean as well! Lots of space and equipment makes it easy to get your work out done without having to wait for machines!
And they have a great selection of supplements!

Of all the places in Sooke to pick things up and put them down over and over and over again, or the move quickly but stay in one spot, I would recommend this one. It's not like you ever use your home gym anyway.

Decent gym. I'm on a free trial right now. Everyone I've met seems pretty chill, and it doesn't seem like a judge-y kind of place; people just do their thing and no one is bothered. I'll probably sign up for a membership once this trial period is over, as it has everything I need access to in order keep in shape.

Open 24 hrs. Clean and well arranged. Staff are very friendly. A great place to go for a workout.

Sooke Health & Fitness isn't your ordinary gym! Extraordinarily customer service, very clean facility. Amazing staff that takes the time to get to know you on a personal level. Checks in with you and asks how your day is. Those small touches mean the absolutely world to me. I am proud and honored to be a member at such an amazing community gym. Highly recommend!

Sooke fitness is an amazing gym with all the equipment you need. I have been going there for 6-7 years now and have zero complaints. Always friendly staff and a good atmosphere in the gym. I would highly recommend this gym to everyone.

I have been working out at Sooke Health and Fitness since I decided to get in shape after the birth of my second son in 2016. The facilities are clean, the staff know me on a first name basis, and the equipment is always well maintained. Sooke Health and Fitness has provided me with a place to burn off excess energy 24/7 and I have been known to pop in at all hours of the day and night. Even when I just couldn't sleep. I can't imagine using another facility at this point.
