My new "go-to" in New West, quality of ingredients is very good, and pricing is fair.one star off as the sashimi and rolls weren't cut consistently and a little sloppy to eat.

Great quality sushi! The size of each roll is very generous as well. I have tried most of the sushi places in downtown New West and this is my favourite by far.

I love to get take out sushi from this restaurant. The food is always fresh, delicious, good size.
Is my go to when I want Japanese food.
Staff is really friendly.

Order from here at least once a month. Excellent sushi, great prices, friendly and efficient owners. Literally what else can you ask for. Perfect sushi takeout spot. 10/10.

Finally had time to check out this place. My new favourite place to get sushi take out in New West.

Their rolls are very good, Jellyfish roll was interesting! Sashimi is the freshest in the neighbourhood. Will definitely go out of my way to get their fish. The quality here is much better than the two across the street.

They listened to my note in my take out order & managed to fit the rolls all together. Great for less waste & takeout containers.
Owners are friendly & service is fast.

Delicious sushi! Very generous sized rolls! The Alaskan roll was my favorite and the kids liked the teriyaki chicken and cali rolls.

Been here a few times. Great value for the price. The owners/workers are always so friendly and nice. They seem to really try to get to know their customers and value everyone that comes in. Always a pleasant experience ordering from here - pick up or dine in. Great place!

Great sushi, reasonable prices, you place and pay for your order at the front and then go find a seat, they will bring your order to your table, no complimentary tea.

Great small business with delicious sushi. Good value for money even with recent increase in prices - portions are decently-sized. Will be coming back!

Taste and services are no issue at all. I have been there a few times. But minor issue is quite pack inside and on my last time there are many people there and talking loud since chairs are back to back. My son couldn't eat properly.

My favourite sushi place. The quality of their food is sooo good. Their salmon and tuna nigiri are so tender.

Parking is always tricky in this area but place is cozy and nice. Not too many seats and self serve water and utensils. Pricing is ok and taste of food was nice. I would say this place is more geared towards students and locals around.

First time coming here today, I just couldn't give up trying this place. Definitely a gem in New Westminster if your looking for fresh good sushi at a fair price. Definitely will make this place one if my "must visit" places whenever I'm in New Westminster looking for fresh sushi. I highly recommend you try this place. The chef and cashier (wife/lady) are nice and friendly.

The sashimi……wow, very thick cut, fresh, no fishy smell! This is very rare.

Our favorite sushi place in the neighborhood! Always fresh, consistent, generously portioned. We noticed the price has gone up a little recently but totally understandable as we love this place so much, don’t want them closing because they lose money from such cheap prices lol

Futomaki roll was very good.not a fan of the seaweed on top of the mango paradise roll.edamame was a bit overcooked and mushy, with very little seasoning.

Bit of a hole-in-the-wall sushi spot across from Douglas College. It seems to be geared mainly for takeout but they do have some seating if you care to dine-in after placing your order at the counter. There's self-serve areas for utensils and tea.

Options here are fairly simple and classic. I've had a variety of nigiri here and they were all pretty good. Nice buttery toro. The negitoro and BC roll were also pretty good.

My bf and I eat alot so we ordered the ROCK party tray which consists of 8 different rolls. Let me tell you. These rolls were THICC!

Overall it tasted very good and we had the staff is lovely. The price are cheap &affordable
TIP: if u are a student, make sure to bring ID so you can get extra 10% off. I would come back again for the party tray and to try other things on their menu!

Update: I had class every week at Douglas and would come here during my lunch breakk. The food was delicious everytime and I cannot get over on how thick the sashimi and rolls are. Pls come here to support them. I think this place is really a hidden gem

Some pieces of my roll tasted odd like it wasn’t fresh and I was only given one serving of wasabi and ginger when there were multiple orders. The edamame wasn’t salted as well which was disappointing. Unfortunately because the reviews are really high so maybe we were unlucky.

Fresh generous portion. I spend the same amount else where I maybe lucky to get half of what they offer here. Also it’s good quality. Will definitely my New Westminster to go Sushi place! Again the portion and taste just blew me away!

I’ve walked past this place a million times on my way to Douglas College and I never though to stop in until today - and it was great! The portion sizes were large and the lady and chef up front were both very friendly.

Just ordered takeout from here. Can't get over how thick the fish cuts are. Really tasty and good portions. Cheap price for what you get. Friendly staff.

This place is the definition of a hidden gem. The rolls are amazing and sashimi is so fresh with a thick cut. But the best thing is: the portion size. They’re cheap yet the portion is so huge it surprises me every time. Not to mention the service is super nice and friendly. Try them out if you can and support this local business:)

The only Sushi restaurant constantly visit, since they offer great portion with affordable prices.

Enjoyed this sushi place twice today. Good portions and very well priced. My only comment for improvment and the reason for 4 stars is that I would like the seasoning of the rice to be more flavourful. Recommend place in New Westminster.

It was my first time eating the Maki B roll (spicy salmon, california and BC roll). It was delicious and a fair price. Definitely coming back

I scoped out this dope little sushi joint as the best looking around the New West town center area and it did not disappoint.
We got the Mix B Roll Combo with the Brazil Roll which was all awesome, tasted fresh and a very plentiful filling portion for great value. The fish sashimi portions as you can see from the photos were super HUGE and almost eat the underlying rice! The Miso Soup 味噌汁 was also very yummy and not too salty, Edamame Beans also really good and a hefty sized portion.
The only downfalls, is that the Tomago roll was quite mushy and tasted over refrigerated or something. Aside from that, there was a lot of plastic involved and kinda takes away the fresh feeling and is very bad for the environment.
An overall enjoyable feast for two under 25 bucks was great and would return. The place itself could do with a little more of an authentic character which would give it more of a cozy relaxed vibe.

Same as other reviews: fresh taste, big sushi that won't fit in my mouth, gigant sashimi, quantity & quality for your buck. Free self-serve tea. Finding free parking is hard in this area thus not 5 stars from me, but that's not an issue for everyone.

Top quality deliciousness, large amount for what you pay. Everything is great about this sushi place. Just order in advance so that you don't wait too long because everything is done fresh.

The prices here are deceptively low for the level of quality AND quantity you get here. Absolutely nutz.

Portion was hudge and sushi was very good. The interior is not fancy but the food is great. Definitely coming here instead of the place across the street lol.

While the portions are fairly big, the pieces were all too large to comfortably be one bite. The ingredients were not the quality I expect. It is slightly cheaper, but definitely not the best sushi in the vicinity.
