Excellent cuban food. Very fast and friendly service. Food made by a cuban chef. Lot of food to fill everybody. Good prices. The ropa vieja and the shredded meat were terrific, as well as the beam soup (potaje). I would go there everyday if it was close to my house.highly recommended.

Probably the most consistent restaurant in Kelowna. Highly recommend it.if you have never been, definitely give it a try. We love this place.

The attitude of the server is extremely bad and makes me feel uncomfortable. She keeps urging us to order even we are not all arrived and skipped our table when giving her service. Food is good but the server made the wrong order, also took away my food in front of me and gave it to another table. Not recommended if you are starting your day.

We had an amazing experience here. We called a few minutes prior to see how busy they were and if they could accommodate 2 adults and a baby. The staff on the phone was friendly and set aside a table for us. We got there and were seated right away. Both hostesses were very friendly and upbeat.

We ordered the Cuban Eggs Benedict, Cubano sandwich, and the Flan. All of the dishes were delicious!

Will definitely be back next time we are in Kelowna. This will be our new brunch spot.

Ordered breakfast twice, ate in the first time and did take out the second. Both times we ordered the Eggs Benedict with grilled tomatoe and hash browns. Both times it's the best eggs Benedict we had in years. Great location (onewatersteet tower) and very friendly staff. Thank you!

It's hard to find a decent eggs benny and a good cup of coffee.that is to say, both were to my personal liking. The eggs benny was delicious. The mocha was just how I like it. Obviously subjective to your tastes but this spot is well worth a try. The staff were lovely.

Absolutely no idea what this business is referring to in regards to a coffee cup or cutting a sandwich. I ordered one sandwich and it was a sloppy mess, and didn’t taste good. Simple.

First dinner here and really enjoyed what we had.the deserts were awesome and Service was great as well

Went here on a date night to enjoy the live cuban music, and we were pleasantly surprised! The space is kind of small and fits maybe about 12 tables, but it was cozy and full of people. The whole place is very clean, and they have a refreshingly simple menu. It was easy to choose and the food was authentic and delicious! I ordered the Yuca Frita and it was perfectly crispy on the outside and flavourful and soft on the inside. The salsa dip it came with was delicius too! The prices did not reflect the quality of the food, they should be charging more for the food and the drinks. I noticed the space is used as a coffee shop during the day, so I'll make sure to come back! I would recommend this place!

I am moving into the building just above the restaurant so I have been trying many of the nearby eateries. I have been here a couple of times now for lunch, mojitos and today for breakfast. Every time I have been impressed. The service is quick and very friendly. The food is tasty and fresh. I have a soft spot for locally owned “family” restaurants. Some people complain about the prices, but I found the prices a bit high, but fair for the quality. “Corporate” restaurants have many advantages over the small family restaurants. So, if I need to pay a couple extra dollars, I am fine with that.

Bottom line with Soul de Cuba that they deliver a consistent and quality product with a smile!

Went to Soul de Cuba looking for soul and all I got was a $18 sandwich and a $4 can of coke. The service at this place was never much to write home about even at the old location but its surprisingly worse, the atmosphere is worse, the quality and size of the sandwiches are worse and as if the prices weren't already high enough those have gotten worse as well. $23 for a sandwich and a can of pop is not even remotely acceptable no matter how you slice it. This is not an expensive type of food to produce and as much as I loved this place despite the prices I just cant justify the egregious cost for what you get.

Amazing food and staff. I couldn't wait to get back to Kelowna to have their version of eggs Benedict again. Love it and will definitely be back.

By far the best Cuban food and sandwiches that I have ever had. Bread is buttered and heated just perfectly and everything else just melts in your mouth. I'm also amazed by how great their coffee is! The aroma and atmosphere is great, and you get very friendly service. Always a pleasure to visit!

Yum! I love mom and pop shops. The waitress was friendly, the food was plentiful and hot. I'm not a fan of Latin American coffee, but the fried plantains and cassava we're delicious. What's not to love?

Best eggs benny in Kelowna. Anyone that says different is either lying or doesn't know what Eggs Benedict is supposes to taste like.

Lovely place for breakfast or brunch, serves eggs cooked Cuban style, loved the Cuban egg Benny, it is a must must try. They also have a great option for coffees, if you are a coffee person this is the right place for you.

I was walking and needed a quick coffee, and grabbed a cortadito to go.
It was so good that I looped around the block to get a second one. Highly recommend.

This place is muy fantástico, I’ve never tried Cuban food before but this food is absolutely delicious and their friendly staff makes it even better. Great Cuban coffee. I love non-breakfast foods for the first meal of the day, so grabbing the full size Cubano and some yuca/cassava fries was a great way to start a packed day. The cassava came with a really delicious and tangy sauce. The Cubano was well stacked with a good proportion of fillings to bread. Affordable prices. Highly recommend.

Excellent cuban sandwiches. Good value on full. House special, steak and chicken (mango) all a real treat! Cool place and value; rare for this town.

The breakfast was really good. I ordered the Cuban scramble and it was really flavorful. Espresso was good as well. I'd definitely come back and recommend this to friends who are visiting Kelowna. The servers are very friendly and able to accomodate your needs and orders.

Neat little Cuban place, cute little patio, clean and cozy inside. Had Cuban eggs Benedict for breakfast.not sure what was Cuban about it lol. Hollandaise sauce was sub par, but all in all would eat here again. Price was fair and the stuff were attentive and polite.

Usually a fan of this restaurant BUT today we were the only table seated inside. One by one we saw the tables fill up and one by one we saw everyone around us being served their food even though we had placed our order well in advance and hadn't had to even open the menu since we were regulars. The kicker came when a group of three ordered take out and got their breakfast ahead of us despite the promise that "ours was next". A shame since we're locals and support this restaurant year round but at this point, not sure if we'll go back.

A friendly atmosphere greets you as you walk into this bustling little restaurant on Sunset Drive. We arrived for brunch and they quickly accommodated us, even letting us know there was a bit of a wait for food because of the brunch rush. We weren't in a rush and had a seat. Our food was served faster than expected and was fresh and tasty. We ordered the Cuban style scramble with minced Cuban lean ground meat and Cuban eggs Benedict. Both dishes were flavourful and hit the spot for brunch. We will be back to try dinner at Soul de Cuba soon!

Very tasty place to have lunch at - I got the full-size Cubano sandwich and it was a ton of food.saved the other half for later. Got a very nice family-run vibe from the staff. Great spot.

Quaint little cafe with the BEST egg benny I have EVER had. Quick and friendly service. Went twice for breakfast in one week. Will definitely be going back every kelowna trip we make.

This place is FANTASTIC and I can't believe I haven't rated it, yet. I go EVERY time I'm in Kelowna and enjoy a delicious breakfast from this quaint gem owned by a legitimate, Cuban immigrant. It's only the past couple visits that I discovered Ropa Viejo eggs Benedict. Shutter thine front door! What a masterpiece.
Today's visit was extra nice because he's got a couple new staff starting so it's excellent to see the place getting busy enough to justify more personnel. The food was simply perfect (times four) this morning. Congratulations and all the best for their continued success!

I really wanted to like this café; it's small and local, has BREAKFAST, and offers Cuban flavours. But. On walking in, the smell of used oil was so strong, I had to "non-smell" it to stay. Their extractor fan is either terribly inefficient or under-spec, their fresh air exchange is non-existent (?), or, they don't change their oil out often enough. Very unpleasant, and I could still smell the oil on my clothes hours later. I ordered the Cuban eggs benedict and it was tasty, but was accompanied by unseasoned hashbrowns. The coffee was great, but I take cream and that wasn't provided - the server poured cream into my cup from a jug and invited me to "say when". My lunch companion had a sandwich, which he described as boring. All in all, not a great experience.

Stopped in for breakfast on our way home from a ride/hike/ride on a Saturday morning. We had the Cuban Benedict with ropa viejo (shredded beef) and some very good coffee. The ambiance is upscale cafe, and though the space is small, it is well-laid out, and while we were there, the staff were able to accommodate a drop-in group of 10 without a fuss.
We noticed that Soul de Cuba offers a music night on the last Saturday of each month, and we've decided we'll try it out. If the evening dining is as delicious as breakfast, it will be an enjoyable date.
