Very happy with Ruben and his team. I came to install a dash cam on my X5. He told me to go with Thinkware as it was one of the best. Couldn't be happier I can't even see the camera when I'm driving.

I would give these guys 10 stars if I could! They installed my JBL Basspro Hub spare-tire sub in about 3 hours with the remote tucked neatly away in my driver's glove box for a more than reasonable price. If you ever need anything audio related for your car, these guys are definitely the best!

I was looking to upgrade the speaker (non JBL) in my 2021 RAV4 Trail (4 doors and dashboard.) With so many car stereo shops in my area I wanted to make sure that where I went was familiar with my car and had done previous installations. I posted a question on a RAV4 Facebook Group I belong to and the administrator of the group said to checkout SoundsGood Auto as he was very familiar with their work.
I went to the SoundsGood Auto location on Boundary Road at Kitchener Street in Burnaby where I was greeted by Jack a very friendly and knowledgeable young man working in the Showroom. Jack new instantly what I was looking for in quality sounding speakers and recommended Focal IS165TOY Toyota Plug & Play (front door speakers and dashboard midrange speakers) and Focal IC165TOY Intergration Coax speakers for the rear doors. These speakers are specifically designed for the Toyota RAV4. Also included in the installation was full 3 layer sound dampening material for all four doors.
Jack had me booked in two days later and the crew started on a two day installation.
To say I’m happy with the new Focal speakers and the quality work performed goes beyond words. It’s easy for people to say they, “Highly Recommend” a place of business but what I can say is, if you are looking for ‘anything’ for your car sound system do yourself a favour and pay a visit to the guys at SoundsGood Auto, you’ll be glad you did.

My remote start install was more complex than usual but Ruben and the guys went the extra mile to ensure it all worked out. They have excellent diagnostic capabilities which came in handy when I had a bad antenna. I'll definitely be back for future installs.

Amazing is how I would describe the service I received here. I am normally very hesitate when doing business with people but I really let my guard down with these guys and they blew my mind! They got me bigger speakers and the sound is just phenomenal compared to what I had previously.

Reuben answered all my questions, even when I called like 10 times in one day, he was so helpful from the consultation to the pick up where he showed me all the pics of the replacements. Plus it only took like 24 hours from the consult to when I picked up my car too. I would highly recommend this place if you are getting any car audio system - you won’t be disappointed.

Went into the Burnaby location to enquire about a backup camera. Was greeted by Ruben, who was polite, professional and provided exceptional service, including advice and tips on installing the camera days after the purchase.a rarity! A local shop with excellent service; nice to see.

My experience was with Ruban. I essentially walked in not being in the sound market for sometime with the goal to get back into car audio. I told him my vehicle that I had with a brief setup description and he totally new where I was coming from. I briefly told him what I wanted to achieve without dropping product choices. He told me a recommended budget and how he would pick the products based on testing and team consultation. With me giving him complete trust and choice of the installation and product I got to witness what an unrestricted artist can produce in his trade with a given budget. I was very aware of his raving reviews on customer service and he was proud to assure me of his reputation in this area. When it comes to service and knowledge boy did he deliver. I wont tell you how he went above and beyond for me, I'm sure that's a unique experience that is different to all his customers, however what seems to be consistent is his effort to please and impress. I can't say enough good things about this place! My mechanic recommended Sounds Good when I asked about changing the audio system in a used car I purchased.

Ruben, the manager at Sounds Good was very helpful and suggested some options for my car. I opted to start by just changing the antiquated radio/phone system and leave the existing factory speakers. I was anticipating at best a 20 - 30% improvement - but I am blown away by how great the sound is and how this digital sound system has upgraded my car. Not only that, but the quality of the work is exceptional!

Had my compact subwoofer installed under the drivers seat of my Jeep Wrangler a few weeks back. Bought an Alpine model on Amazon and had Sounds Good install versus attempting myself. Install took a half day. Ruben was easy to deal with and transparent all throughout. Sound is great, install is clean with no issues. Reason for 4 instead of 5 stars is price. Box stores are significantly cheaper but I wasn't prepared to take the risk of quality plus I live close to the Burnaby location and wanted to support a local small business, particularly during covid. They did not try to upsell me. Very happy with the outcome and experience.

Ruben and his team did an amazing job. Ruben himself as a salesperson was honest and professional. The installation was exactly what they promised and was extremely clean. I'm looking forward to having them do more work on my car.

I first brought my car to sounds good about a year and a half ago and have been back around 5 times for different installs. They've done my remote starter, dash cam, alarm and full system. Because I wanted top end equipment and the cost to do it in one shot would have been too much money, I decided with the help and guidance from Ruben to do my stereo in stages. I'm on stage 3 and couldn't be happier. I have very high expectations and they have more than exceeded them. They have such a passion and attention to detail for each project they take on, like it was their own vehicle. Brought my 77 280Z here to have a sound system, power locks, and alarm installed. And wow, I couldn't be happier with the work I received. Soundsgood fabricated me a custom center console which looks brilliant inside and the sound that comes out of the car is amazing. They took a car I love, handled it and worked on it as if it were their own. The craftsmanship and quality that comes out of here is amazing. Highly recommend.

Was not thrilled. Went in with blown JBL speaker to ask for advice. Was told that needed to either replace entire audio system in car, buy new speaker from car dealer for $400 or spend about the same getting the speaker refurbished. All it took was a $40 repair kit from the US and about 3 hours of work and letting the glue set up and it's absolutely fine now and sounds great. Not impressed.

Edit: Adjusted my review a bit, I was pretty annoyed at the time, and the car has since been sold.

Amazing guys that run the place. LOVE the radio they recommended. The installer Jessie (who is amazing) cleaned out the garbage that had been installed by another company and made my audio dreams come true. Thank you, thank you, thank you. Super highly recommended! By far the best experience with the guys at SoundsGood Auto. They were very knowledgeable with their products and experienced with installation on a wide range of cars/ trucks. We were helped by Ruben who was helpful and super friendly. He went above and beyond to make sure we were happy with the work done. The finished product definitely exceeded all our expectations. Crisp, full, audio. Top quality upgrade. Followed the suggestions, now I can hear the entire soundstage of every genre. From the creening of Frank Ocean, to the studio rawness of the Rolling Stones. Now I have to upgrade my home system. Fidelity.

Came here on a friend's referral and now I'll be doing the same! Needed a replacement remote starter on my '98 Acura EL and Ruben & team found a disaster under the hood and major fire hazard from the starter previously installed at a now-defunct retail chain. SoundsGood helped clear everything out and installed the new system with full features without nickel & diming the pricing. Beautiful, clean showroom too!

The best experience! I am a layman who knows nothing about car audio. When I realized that I needed a car audio, you can imagine how much advice and help I needed.

But they did it, they didn't blame me for nothing, they gave me the best advice and price. I really don't understand audio, but my friend is an expert. After he listened to my audio, he praised him.

This is great. You know, there are some businessmen who, when they find out that you are a layman, will give you a crazy price and a bad speaker. But not here!

They treat me like they have been friends for many years. They are honest, patient, and importantly very professional.

I have an ML350 on my car. Seriously, I know this is a very difficult car. I have hurt my hand more than once by its anti-human design. For example, you have to change a bulb. Not to mention the need to upgrade the sound system, but they did it, it works perfectly.

So I think I became their loyal customer, and my future audio upgrade will be here, oh, and my reversing camera. In short, I recommend everyone to come here, whether you are a rookie or an expert.

I highly recommend these guys when it comes to audio for your car! Just had my aftermarket head unit with Apple CarPlay/Android Auto installed and I’m just blown away with the quality of their work. These folks know customer service. I was highly impressed and I’m a born cynic. I drive a ‘92 Corolla, with the stock tape player and speakers all long dead, only radio. Decided I’m going to drive this T to the end, so I drive up, Ruben at the shop says to me, “hey I know that car - had one! ” No measurements needed, I wanted a cheepo unit to get me through traffic, he fitted up 4 speakers and the bt unit in about 5min flat. When I came to pick it up he and his team had it all set up, tuned and configured.even remembered my radio presets from previous unit. Does what it’s designed to do, installed by courteous and friendly folks, and btw the shop and garage are spotless and comfortable. Lots of resources.

Great people, got a super value used/demo Kenwood double din deck with Nav in 2017. Install was professional. Lady in the front very helpful.

2 years later 2019, my unit stopped working. Brought car in to SoundsGood to have a look. Techs checked everything and got it up and working and resoldered wiring just in case. Didn't charge me a dime. Wow, really good customer service and they back up their work. I won't go anywhere else! Highly recommend.

My experience here was amazing. Ever since upgrading to my Subaru, I missed having a high quality sound system. I went in to check things out, and Ruben helped me with options for my budget. Not only did he give me options, he gave me options with upgradable paths I can take for the future. A huge thing for me was there was no pressure to buying the more expensive systems. I left my car there for the day and now I have an amazing sound system with no rattle. The customer service here is unreal.

What a place!

I started by emailing Ruben, asking about a sound system piecemeal into my JDM vehicle. He was very patient with me and we discussed my piecemeal idea and a complete install. I've decided to go for the full install, and went over it with his colleague, and felt pretty happy about it.

I never went into the details at this point (and I should have asked), but I was able to figure out pretty easily what components were going into my system at this point.

I booked far in advance, and was unable to make the first appointment. To my surprise and relief, they easily rebooked me for another date and I dropped the vehicle off. I was informed it may be needed overnight, and it was as I knew good jobs cannot be rushed.

I waited two days for the job to be done, and when I picked it up, not only was I completely blown away by the sound of the components they decided to install, I also checked out the install.

EVERYTHING IS CLEAN. They did an aftermarket subwoofer control knob, and it looks like it is supposed to be part of my dash. The amp is installed underneath my passenger seat, and the dashcam was hardwired. I cannot find it anywhere. The only part I can find is my usb plug in for my head unit!

I have an aftermarket boost controller that had a bit of a mess in terms of wires, and they cleaned it up for me. I also had a microphone on my steering column, and they decided to adapt that for the mic for my new headunit.

These guys went above and beyond in terms of service and installation. I paid a higher price than I might've elsewhere, however I feel secure knowing I have a sound system that was professionally installed.

Take your vehicle here. Don't go elsewhere, for fear of missing out on a great crew and great service.

Purchase a 2 channel dashcam from Visions and had scheduled a Saturday appointment which was quoted for 3 hours as it needed to be hardwired. Upon drop off they said they would need the car all day. After discussing my limited options, I left Visions, very unhappy, and found SoundsGood. I spoke with Ruben and he said no problem, should only take 1 - 1.5 hours. Dropped the car off a few days later and had it back within 2 hours. Punctual, courteous and professional. I would definitely recommend SoundsGood!

When my FIAT 500's driver's door speaker got blown I didn't know where to turn to. I went to my dealership and they told me the speakers made by FIAT were worth $9 and that they'd be covered under warranty - however, being the audiophile that I am I did not want to keep replacing cheap speakers over and over. Luckily I read the online reviews of SOUNDSGOOD and they did not disappoint. Ruben (the manager) was incredibly friendly and approachable from the moment I entered his shop. He assured me that he had previously worked on my car's model. Ruben also took the time to ask me about the genres of music I listen to and recommended speakers accordingly. He gave me a few options and asked about my budget and the final price ended being close to what we had agreed upon. The job was completed on the same day and the bass and overall sound is very good. I would recommend dealing with SOUNDSGOOD/Ruben to anyone who is looking for car audio installation/repairs.

I didn't take my car here. Read the good reviews and called this place plus a bunch of others. Their quote was the highest, but the products may have been nicer than the rest. Though, their knowledge about my particular car was below average compared to the others. I recommend you do the same and call around and then go with the place you feel most comfortable with.

Easy to talk to. They explained everything clearly. Their labour might be $$$ but you'll definitely get what you paid for. Highly recommended.
