South Arm Community Park

It's one of our favorite spots to play Pickleball.
I wish they would create more of them.

Excellent place to bring your kids. Clean, big open area with a lot of nice playground equipment for the kids to enjoy.

A beautiful park, nice central location. A playground long paved walking paths, tennis, hockey and pickleball courts (with lights) bathrooms, picnic tables, large grassy areas for sports, outdoor pool option in the summer and beside the local community center. It is an excellent park to spend the day. EDIT; However, the new playground is much smaller and less open-ended than the old play area. Many of the main play attractions were taken down, and the park seems mostly to be for little children now, no real swings, and most stuff (like monkey bars) is low down for younger ages, my children used to spend hours playing in the castle, swingset, train, airplane, large teeter totters and dino-slide; A sad loss of one of our favorite, imagination filled playgrounds.

Love the new kids play area but the amount of trash everywhere is HORRIBLE. It's obvious the amount of public trash cans in and around the play area needs to be increased to prevent the mounds of diapers, wrappers bandaid etc all over the wood chips. Good amount of parking and public washrooms beside the outdoor pool area.

Multiple picnic tables. Sizable playground. Has basketball courts, and tennis courts. Has baseball diamond, seasonal water park, and dog off-leash area. Near elementary and secondary schools. Crowded at afterschool hour. Limited public washrooms. Free parking.

We love this area even before they upgraded the playground equipment. We like it even more now. There’s just so many things to do here. Kids will never get bored.

Wow. The kid play structure went from lv 20 to level 99 fast with the latest upgrade.
It's 110% awesome fun for kids and it's 3-12 years old welcome as well.

Bonus is the picnics area and benches available for parents to chill out on a weekend.

10/10 will recommend

There are some more room for expansion, and hope they will add more to this park soon.

Mainly here for the tennis court. It’s always very busy in the summer night. Good places with good people.

Good number of picnic tables under trees for shade - made well for a nice early summer picnic in middle of June. Ample parking. Good size playground for kids. Only thing was lots of pine cones on the ground and uneven footing, so just be mindful for elderly or clumsy people ;)

Wow a brand new playground just opened up for the summer! It has a two stories high slide, swings, sand pit with rigs to scoop sand, and a zip line. Kids would love it and spent hours on end.

This is a very solid park. Nice playground, new pickleball courts and numerous tennis courts.
The park also features a nice little BBQ area. The sunset was also very nice here however there are much better sunset spots in Richmond and Vancouver.

Also if you're here to play pickleball, please have some class. Don't use the tennis courts or if you do play pickleball there give the court up when a tennis group asks to use the court.

Doesn't get much more Richmond OG than this, great tennis courts, great park to walk around
