South Van Bottle Depot

The staff undercounted my cans so much, they took all my hard plastic bottles and said they wouldn't refund them.

This location is very disappointing compared to the others. It does not seem safe or secure. The staff are unhelpful and unprofessional, unlike the other locations. There is no system or queue for serving customers. Moreover, this location is no longer affiliated with the "Encore" group, which means there could be less benefits. I suggest looking for another place that offers a full refund policy (many do not).

Big space. Easy access. As clean as it can be considering what they accept for recycling. Cans, bottles, hard and soft plastics, oil, paint, electronics, batteries, bulbs. I have no issues with this establishment.

Website says open. Upon arriving at 1: 00pm on Saturday April 22nd, business is closed for a holiday.

Please update your hours online and on maps so people don't waste their time, energy, and fuel.

This depot and staff are awesome. Huge location, lots of parking and my drop offs get counted usually the same day.

Very efficient and friendly. Staff are hard working and never stop working. Everything is organized and easy to put into correct bins: light bulbs, small appliances, styrofoam, soft plastic, cardboard, paint and drop off for refundables. We always sort the glass bottles, too heavy for the clear bags. We have been coming to this location for years.
Only wish parking stalls were a little wider (8 inches). But lots of parking.

There was a weird scent inside the building. The staff was friendlier than I thought, and things took a relatively short time to be done. The staff even gave me an American dime instead of a Canadian one!

Facility is roomy.and ppl are organized.but can get busy at time.enough parking and also street parking avail.only thing is they don't have their own carts.wheelchair accessible but its quite a climb up.

The staff are very busy. Mostly DIY in unloading and sorting but no problem in that. Staff pick up your bottles you put into trays and put them in large wheeled baskets and pay you and your on your way.
