Spa Tru Clinics

I would not go here for laser hair removal. I received 2nd degree burns. My skin turned black, blistered and was the most painful treatment/post treatment I have ever had.
I asked them to cancel my monthly payment plan (numerous times) as I would not be coming back. They still put thru my next payment and have not refunded me for this despite me asking before the beginning of the month.
They have done nothing to rectify that they physically damaged me.
Horrible treatment and horrible customer service.

I had an appointment with Kari, she was the sweetest, and the most thorough and skilled person ever!

I booked the deluxe package for a massage + facial for myself and my mom and I was extremely disappointed with the massage service.
I don't know how else to describe it other than it was not a massage. There was absolutely no pressure applied whatsoever.
All I did was lay there while she lathered me in oil, and lightly did circular motions to my body. It was super super disappointing. I thought it may have just been my esthetician but unfortunately my mom had the same experience (or lack there of).
For the price of 200$ including tip, I really wish I never booked here and went elsewhere, truly felt like money wasted. I could've just rubbed myself with oil and had the same experience.just awful.
Although Cara and Kheiko are nice ladies, the massage was just extremely below par of what a massage experience should feel like.

I showed up at 430 on a Thursday to buy a gift certificate for a birthday. The open sign was on and said it closed at 600 but the door was locked and no one answered knocking or the phone. No sign was left explaining why no one was available. I waited 15 minutes hoping someone would show up but no one did. Very unprofessional.

I have been going to Spa Tru for a couple years now (Maple Ridge location) and in particular seeing Dr. Steven Jones. My experience each time has been amazing to say the least. Dr. Jones is very knowledgeable, makes you feel comfortable, and thoroughly explains the process to you. I get Botox around the eyes mostly and some in the forehead and feel so refreshed when I come out of the office, I feel like a million dollars! And the front staff girls are so polite and try to accommodate appts the best they can. I would highly recommend

The girls are very nice but the owner is so unbelievably rude and condescending. Please DO NOT support this place.

I went to spa tru yesterday for a massage and facial and it was an amazing experience! Everyone was super friendly and my services were spectacular! I recommend anyone to try this spa out, you won’t be disappointed! Keep up the great service, I will be back soon!

I visited the Langley location and saw Dr Steven Jones. What was supposed to be an uplifting day turned really bad. Seconds after he injected fillers under my one eye, He stopped as I bruised immediately. I understand bruising is common but this progressed down my face daily beyond my nose and is black and blue. Not his fault of course. Then I had Botox in my forehead to soften some lines. My right eyelid has dropped a bit and is now altering my vision. The other side didn’t take very well so when I raise my eyes, I have one frozen eye and one that looks surprised.plus my brow line is bulging. I returned after a week to see what can be done to help and was treated with awkward silence and a what would you like me to do about it attitude. He was mentoring someone at the time and spoke to her like this was all very common. Stood there with arms crossed and an arrogant stare on his face. I’ve had this procedure done before without any of these complications…. Choose your clinic carefully
F/U. January 23 /2023…. Still feeling the effects from bad Botox in my brows.my right eyebrow is still visibly droopy and makes reading very difficult.

Went to the Langley location and saw Dr. Soo Ji for filler and Botox. Amazing experience! The front staff were friendly and welcoming. Dr. Soo Ji made me so comfortable right away. She really listened to what I wanted and had great suggestions. She explained everything in detail before and was so gentle during the procedure. The results are stunning! I look so good ️ So incredibly happy with the results and I am walking with a little extra pep in my step today. Thank you Dr Soo Ji!

Bad service I had an appointment and when I arrived they told me that the person in charge of the laser had left, even if you didn't accept to open the door for me it was locked, it was only a phone talk

Sonia at the Langley location is amazing. Professional, knowledgeable and skilled. She’s the only one I’d trust to do my laser!

Very nice staff and relaxing atmosphere. My boyfriend and I really enjoyed relaxing in the sauna before our amazing couples massage!

I went to Spa Tru later in the afternoon this last friday for microneedling, the front counter staff are great. Mike (the owner) was part of the front counter, i hadn't met him before but he was very friendly. Kako was the lady that did my treatment, extremely knowledgeable and made you feel comfortable. They have great specials that the owners put on. I didn't meet the dr but one of the other clients was telling me he's fantastic as well. The spa closed at 6 but i wasnt finished until about 630. There was no rush to get me out so they could leave, the owner and i talked for a few minutes after i took care of the bill. It was a fantastic experience, ill definitely be back

I have had many treatments from Spa Tru clinics both at Langley and Maple Ridge. Every experience has been fantastic with friendly, knowledgeable staff. I will continue my treatments at Spa Tru as their treatments work and they are well priced.

Go see TARA! I just booked with spa tru and had a great experience! All the lady’s were super nice and it was a great environment. Tara is very professional, welcoming and made me feel very comfortable. I had such a great experience that I have my family and friends setting up appointments. It’s definitely overwhelming trying to find the right salon and I did a lot of research. I felt like I made the right choice coming into this one and I’m even excited about my next appointment!

The girls are very nice but the owner is completely rude and unprofessional. I wanted to calmly discuss a complaint I had and was shocked at how he responded. Interrupted me before I even finished speaking and was extremely condescending. I see from other people’s reviews that I am not the only one that’s had a bad experience with him. Please don’t support this place!

Absolutely fabulous and super helpful GSR staff (dealt with Sarah who is lovely). Had fillers by Dr Jones who is super meticulous about his work, detail oriented and really took his time to ensure perfect results. Will return.

This was my 1st visit to Spa Tru and I had an awesome 60 minute Swedish massage with Sanya today. I would definitely say this was better than any I have experienced at Spa Utopia. The staff are friendly and Sanya is outstanding. I’ll definitely be back!

Overpriced and very "blah".
The service was fine - not great, but fine - but the atmosphere was severely lacking. The massage room walls were paper thin, so I heard full conversations from the next room of staff chatting and laughing. The bathroom had a hose wrapped up on the floor, and dusty used "extras" like deodorant and hairspray. They may be a good spot for medical spa treatments, but I'll pick another place for general services like massage and facials any day of the week. Definitely won't return.

Highly recommend Dr. Jones at Spa Tru, I always receive exceptional service from both the doctor and the entire staff at Spa Tru. They have even called me to follow up on the procedure which makes me feel very comfortable.

I was truly so hesitate to get my lips filled out for a few years now. So happy I finally called. I had a few questions and wanted a consultation. I called and Jamie the admin answered. She was so warm and welcoming. I do my research when it comes to such a thing and knew this was the place for me. Answered all my million questions so clearly. It was a wonderful experience. I usually don’t write reviews but this place definitely deserves one. I have tried many spas, but there is nothing out there like the amazing service I have been offered here. Right from the beginning I’ve been greeted by the warm smile of Saige and Jamie. They were great and answered all my questions. Everybody is SO professional and welcoming here. I had a truly amazing experience, especially with Katie. She is so great and I totally recommend her! She does amazing massages and she’s definitely my favourite aesthetician. I will definitely come back here.

I have been going here for my laser hair removal and have loved every visit. I have two young daughters and had to bring them a couple of times to my appointments as I had no one to watch them and the employees were so accommodating and welcoming. The place truly feels like a home. They answer all my questions and recommend the treatments that best suit your needs. I am looking forward to my next visit!

Went to one of their events which was very informative and tastefully done decided to get laser hair removal. Even bought treatment package for my two daughters for Christmas gift. They were very accommodating with appointments, always on time, answered questions and very professional. Relaxing spa highly recommend. Now thinking of getting Cool Sculpting!

I have been going to Spa Tru for several years and have received laser hair removal treatment, Venus Freeze (X2), massages, facials and buy the skin care line they carry. Each service was top notch in a comfortable environment with friendly and knowledgeable staff. They also offer monthly specials which are worth checking out like the mother/daughter special in May:)

16 months ago upon joining Instagram I found the Tru Spa page. When I liked it I immediately received a message offering me a discount on Botox and laughed as my 50th birthday was looming.

As a single mom my pamper myself funds - and self-care time - are both very limited.

My first visit was a wonderful facial with Sonya who I met after being greeted by the amazing, friendly and professional front receptionist. The soothing energy in the spa was apparent as I was I was shown to the change rooms and mentioned the steam room could also be used at no additional charge if I were to come back in the future and wanted to partake.

A locker was available to me for my personal items with a lock and I slipped into a soft robe and slippers provided.

The facial itself was professional explain to me using quality products and by far one of the most relaxing experiences I’ve had in sometime. And the fact it was the monthly special made me feel also affordable.

It was with this experience I decided to bring my teen son battling severe acne for his first ever facial. The products again used were safe and effective post treatment and we also purchased the DBJ clear complexion sulphur mask for use at home.

Both of these appointments had excellent follow-up and confirmation via emails or text and any questions I asked were answered very promptly and professionally usually within a couple hours time.

The specials emailed to me for monthly specials have made me more aware of trying new products or services as well as making the time for myself. My only constructive criticism would be in the past the emails have arrived a week into the month. I noticed when I put this suggestion in the suggestion box It has improved greatly which I really appreciated.

My last three treatments which I am including Photos of our the Venus cool sculpting treatments that were on special for the month of March at a price of $99 - valued at $300.

My esthetician Keiko offered to take before and after photos and to say I was shocked at my noticeable results after even only one treatment would be an understatement. She is a soft-spoken lovely professional who takes great pride in her work and at my second appointment asked me things from my first appointment which means she pays attention and cares about her clientele. I highly recommend her and all staff at this fabulous spa including Saige at the front desk who emailed me my pictures and asked me to write this review also.

I normally do not write about experiences but I would like to commend the owners and staff at Spa Tru Langley for their dedication to running a clean, hospitable and wonderful place of business that I hope to see much more growth in your company. Until then I will drive the 30 minutes for this hidden little gem that everyone should try. Cheers

I love this place! I get my laser hair removal at Spa Tru and they always give me quality service. They have great deals that come up every so often, and they do open houses for cool-sculpting and entertain clients nicely with snacks and wine. I definitely recommend this spa, it’s a very nice experience.

This place is top notch. I have received a few different treatments; facial, Venus freeze, and lip fillers. I am 100% satisfied with everything I have had done and I plan to book more services in the near future. The spa is immaculate, staff is well trained and very welcoming, and the cucumber water is the perfect refresher for after your appointment. Highly recommend this spa!

I had a delightful experience at the spa, my perfect afternoon began when I was greeted at the front desk by Saige, she graciously greeted me with a smile, answered all of my questions very knowledgeably and made me feel welcome. A lovely beginning to my spa day.

I was then led to a beautiful room with soft lighting and tasteful decor. My aesthetician Keiko provided the best massage I have ever had, she was very experienced and incredibly kind. I highly recommend Spa True, the staff and service are exceptional!

Greeted by very friendly front desk girls. Only been to a spa once before so it really helped me feel at ease. Got to go into the steam room, very relaxing, and have a drink before the massage. Its been nearly 4 years since my last massage and havent felt this relaxed in ages. 10/10 for sure coming back and wont take 4 years this time
