I stopped in to this beautiful eyeglass store to fix my glasses before an international departure and desperate to have my expensive pair of progressive lenses back on my face. The woman who helped me went out of her way to find the right tiny screw to reattache one side of the frames. I so appreciated her going beyond the call of duty to help me. I perused their selection of eyeglasses while waiting and found it to be one of the best selection of frames In Vancouver!

I rarely post reviews of products or services but I have to give a BIG call out to Spectus on 4th Ave, Vancouver. I purchased a rather nice pair of prescription glasses and unfortunately broke the frames when then were knocked off the head. The team at Spectus went the extra mile and contacted the manufacturer to ‘see what could be done’. They found a replacement bridge/cross bar and repaired it at no charge. Great outcome for me, Spectus will get my ongoing business - they are very good to deal with. I highly recommend buying your premium eyewear here. Oliver, Vancouver.

Irina recently fit me into my first pair of progressive lenses in a beautiful lightweight Lindberg frame that fits my small face. She was super helpful to find just the right frame/colour combo and help me navigate the new world of progressive lenses. My new progressives were extremely easy to get used to and I'm thrilled with them - and my improved vision.
They go above and beyond to get things right! I trust the quality of their work and would definitely come here again.

Irina the sales lady really needs proper etiquette on being professional, personable and polite when it comes to regardless whether it's an in person interaction or over the phone inquiry. I have purchased 4 pairs of Lindberg's at over a $1000 dollars each, she should know that prescription eye information pertaining to myself is actually LEGAL for me inquire information about.
Most disappointing customer service I have ever experienced, as a customer we deserve the right to inquire about quotes, models, and decide later or pay at the moment especially when we are purchasing glasses over $1000. Irina here thinks that because she possibly may lose a sale, or because of competition I myself as a customer aren't entitled to my information on my file. She needs a reality check, maybe it isn't so much about the sale but actually helping the "patient" have healthy eyesight by actually being caring and letting a customer be selective about their choice of frame and what will fit them the best.
I am by no means going to spend over $1000 dollars on a pair of glasses I have not physically tried on, and will do so to search around to see what my options are.
Do yourselves a favor and go to Mount Pleasant Optometry, they sell Lindberg and are really personable, knowledgeable, Kind and NoT pushy about sales. They also give you quotes, models # you tried on, without refusal of your own information and spend hours explaining different lenses.

Kas is nice and patient. My face is relatively small and it is hard to find a pair of glasses. It has a huge collection of stylish frames. You should go and try, and be surprised.

I have a long narrow face and this is the only place I’ve been able to find glasses that look good on me. The staff know their stuff and what to recommend. I love out of the way now and tried to find my last pair of glasses closer to home. After months of looking I made the drive to Spectus and found a great pair in 15 minutes. Definitely worth it.

Last month I once again sat down with the staff at spectus to discuss my visual needs. I'm a surgeon and a flyfisherman/fly-tier so my visual demands are high. I needed a pair of specs for working at the computer, a pair that would allow me to sit up straight and far enough from the screen to stop neck and shoulder strain that develop when keyboarding at the usual "working distance. Irina worked to design a lense that has a working distance of 62 cms. She then paired it with a great frame. I am immensely satisfied with the outcome.
I have numerous pairs of glasses, all with specific purposes, from general readers and bi-focals to polarized fishing glasses. I love what Spectus has done for me.

Helena made purchasing new eye glasses so easy! I find looking for the perfect pair of glasses such a daunting task. I walked into Spectus and Helena greeted me with a warm welcome and instantly chose frames that would suit my face. I tried on over 15 glasses and all of them I liked and she helped narrow it down for me. I will be a returning customer!

I came to inquire about a fixing a broken pair of sunglasses - A very rare and funky pair of sunglasses. Things were looking bleak but the relentless efforts and creative genius of their clerk Irina saved the day. She called me the next day to say they had found an 'appropriate pair' temples to match the outlandish frame. I was blown away by the level of service and dedication to helping me at no extra charge. Highly highly recommended!

I've been shopping at Spectus for close to 20 years and always get great service. Everyone is willing to help, and will work tirelessly to find the right prescription and the right frames to suit your style. Recently I was looking for prescription sunglasses that were not available in the store - Helena happily ordered in 4 different styles which arrived in days, then she organized the correct lenses and less than two weeks later, I have a great pair of glasses. I've also worked with Irina (and others) on multiple occasions to get everyday lenses and have been extremely happy each time. I ONLY buy glasses at Spectus and will continue indefinitely. I spend a lot of money on glasses every year. I have tried several eyeglass stores in Vancouver and NONE are as good as Spectus. At Spectus their product selection is amazing, their knowledge is extraordinary and their customer service is the best in the city. I have found my new one and only Eyeglass store!

My husband is a long time customer of this store. Recently I went there with my new prescription for a pair of Lindbergs. There was a teenager (a sales girl called Irna or something), playing on her facebook.
Her attitude was unwelcoming and she was answering my questions as if I am wasting her time. I asked for discount on Lindbergs. Implying that I am lying, she said: we never give discount on Lindbergs. I said but David - another guy working there - told me that he would. The girl said: oh really! Maybe that's why he got fired. Frustrated by her rude attitude, I bought my glasses online and I have problems with them now!
Good store, terrible employee choice!
