Speedy Coin Laundry

The owner is the most rude business person I have ever met. He does not follow his hours of operation. He closes at 8pm I arrived at 7: 15 to just dry a load of laundry. He rudely says I am not allowed because he has decided to close early because he is hungry.

Did a quick load of laundry, since our airbnb didn’t have a washer. The owner was nice and helpful, and the prices were reasonable too.
The owner and a customer were having an argument while I was there though. But it did make the waiting time more interesting.

This guy would watch customers every move loading, unloading etc.
He would manage your every move lol like WTH.

Its shown that the laundromat closes at 8pm but when I called at 6pm to see if they were open they said they were closed.

Edit: since he did let me do the laundry and was nice as I left, I changed it to three stars from two.

Came in at 6: 45 PM when they close at 8 PM. I was told by the only employee (owner?) that the last time they would let people start a load was at 6: 30 PM. I had a very small load to do. I asked how long the washer would take. He said 23 minutes. That seemed like plenty of time to wash and still have time leftover to dry at least most of the load. I had to argue with him for a couple minutes for him to let me wash and dry. I was out by 7: 30 PM. I understand wanting to go home early, but you're a business with posted hours. You should honor those hours or don't post any hours.

The owner/attendant is a bit of a control freak and needs some customer service training. He greeted me at the door (good), demanded that I use a specific washer (not-so-good), provided change for a $5 bill (good), and tried to tell me to use way too much detergent (not good b/c I had only a small load). He told me the washer would take 20 minutes, so I left to order food at nearby Barcelo's. I returned after 22 minutes to find the washer empty. When I asked where my clothes were, he pointed to a rolling basket where my clothes sat in a damp heap (not great, but I tolerated it). He then demanded that I use a large industrial dryer which was $. 25/four minutes. He gave me no indication of how much time might be needed, so I guessed (16 minutes) and left to pick up my food. When I returned, he screamed at me. Something about "this is a place of business; you can't just leave! " Um, what? He had removed my clothing (again) which was in a damp pile on the counter. I responded by politely apologizing and that caused him to yell at me again. I mentioned that my clothing was still damp and placed them back into the dryer. He responded by turning up the volume on the soap opera he was watching on tv. When I was finished, I thanked him and said, "have a good day. " He just sneered. I do not need to patronize that place again!

I had went to this laundry mat for a couple months. I did drop off service. I was charged an even 10 dollars for an 8pound load when he had said its a dollar a pound for laundry. So slightly overcharged for drop off. Most times my clothes did not smell clean enough and recently I had dropped off with bathing suits mixed in to be washed. One came back the other he said he has no idea where it is. He should be held responsible for that he didn't apologize or offer money back for losing it. He just denied it was him and said it's probably at my place. Which it isn't I also looked everywhere ro be sure

Don't ever use their drop-off service. I just got $90 worth of laundry back and they look, feel, and smell like they were rinsed with water. No soap or fabric softener was used. There is visible dirt, the clothes are stiff and scratchy, and worst of all, the socks still smell bad! Everything else smells stale, like it's already been worn once. I'm so disappointed. This was a gift to me to help me catch up on the laundry that piled up when we were all sick. Now I have to redo several loads anyway because we're not going to put on clothes that have visible dirt on them. Total waste of money.

Owner is extremely rude and won’t let me use the dryer. I only had 5 pieces of clothing and he said I can’t use the drier there were vacant spots to use. Don’t go to this place.

The location is clean and well kept and the machines are in good condition.

The owner tries to micromanage right down to putting coins into machine. I placed towels in to dry a few minutes longer while I fold. He started yelling at me to take them out as soon as machine finished.

This place used to be so good, cheap and clean. They raised the prices recently and it's really expensive compared to other places in the neighborhood. I have also noticed the owner walks around and changes the settings on machines. I put my clothes on hot wash, and went to grab my takeout. When I came back and the settings were switched to cold, this has happened to me twice. I also notice the owner takes people's clothes out of washers and dryers, even when it's not busy and there are other available machines that can be used. Not sure why he does that, I've seen people get upset over it but he still does it. The place is clean but most machines dont work properly anymore. They definitely need to upgrade or fix machines

One of the better priced laundromats in Guildford/Fleetwood area. The washer and dryers are good compared to others as well.

No customer service, the attendant rudelly tells you right away that they don't allow drying clothes only because priority are for customers only. What am I? Am i not a customer? I came there to dry my clothes only.why i can't? If there is a vacant dryer? What's the issue, if other customer's still washing their clothes then someone has to use the dryer first. Don't go this place. Owners are stupid.

The owner is rude never coming back took my stuff out of dryer when it was till wet to put someone's else's stuff in. Will not be back

This place is horrible ridiculously expensive compared to other laundry mats. The owner of the place walks around making sure your washing your clothing correctly and not over over loading the machine. Other places to do laundry 20-30 for few huge loads this place 35-45. Don’t go here it’s a joke no many machines horrible service.

Our dryer at home broke. So I brought my wet clothes to dry here. I was halfway done putting my clothes in the dryer when owner told me Im not allowed to use the dryer. Apparently, its only for people who washed their clothes there. I told him theres a lot of dryer available (10) while only 6 washing machine was being used. And only 3 guys were there. He told me to leave!
Not planning to come here at all.
No wonder its dead compare to WASCOMAT coin laundry, the place where i dried my clothes no problem eventhough it was super busy.

Very clean and pretty cheap (honestly) compared to others in the area. The price is $2.25 for a regular sized front load washer and $2 for 40 minutes of dryer. If you have an even smaller sized load, the price is $2 for the top load washer. Total price is $4.25 for washing and drying your clothes. A week full of dirty laundry for one person is what goes into the regular sized machines. Last load time is 7pm and the shop is closed on Wednesdays. Bring your own detergent!

The same dryers have been posted with light load for years! The man running it says $500 to fix! He won't spend the money to fix three dryers!

Clean. Staff is friendly and helpful. Some washers dont spin water enough and leaves you having to have things in the dryers longer.
