Bree was amazing. Husband and I decided to go for something different for our kids this Christmas. I first heard the term non-traditional diamonds in their radio spots over a year ago. I love one of a kind things and decided this would be an amazing way to celebrate how our kids are perfectly unique and have become outstanding examples of humanity.

Bree was extremely patient and helpful in offering choices for each kid and once we found diamonds that was perfect for each, we had Spence's decide how each stone would be set on the necklace.

Turnaround was far less than I expected and hubby and I agree that this was a great choice for Christmas.

Do not shop here! We went here to shop for an engagement ring and we weren’t approached at all. We then asked an employee for help and she literally just told us to look at the dummy rings and walked off. Did not ask for what we are looking for or what we are interested in— complete turn off! The employee went back to the counter and stood there doing absolutely nothing. Our experience was terrible, don’t waste your time here you are better off going to an independent jeweller. Not to mention there displays had a lot of outdated looking engagement rings.

My experience with Spence Diamonds Langley was excellent! I was interested in a laboratory diamond, because of all the negative impacts of mined diamonds. Cheyenne Evans was great! She’s very knowledgeable. She gave me time to select the ring I wanted and then took the time to explain everything I needed to know about it. I recommend Spence Diamonds, and I highly recommend Cheyenne. Thank you so much. I love my ring!

Our experience working with Spence Diamonds was spectacular. Alyssa in Langley made what I thought would be an overwhelming experience of shopping for engagement rings extremely stress free. She was very knowledgeable and understanding of working inside of a budget. Because of her, I now have my dream ring. I will for sure be recommending Spence Diamonds to any of my friends.

My boyfriend bought me a 1000$ necklace from this Spence Diamond Langley location and the clasp was getting caught in the pendant and was not coming out. Instead of helping me fix it they did not believe me and charged me more money to have it fixed so it did not do this. (This is not something i did to the necklace this is a design issue) The whole experience was terrible and frustrating. We have boughten so much jewelry from them in the past and this is how they treat their customer's.

Had to stop listening to the radio because of these annoying radio advertisements. If I'm willing to stop listening to the radio because of it, imagine the lengths I will now go to, to never shop at your stores. Please stop them.

Our experience at Spence Langley was stellar! Was really on the fence going to another Spence location since my experience at the Vancouver location was dissatisfying. Glad that we took another shot. From the inception I was treated with class. Cheyenne (agent) was excellent, patient and exercised the balance of great product knowledge with a keen sense of knowing our taste. She took the time to answer our questions and provide options within our budget. Very proactive and was on top of providing updates. More importantly, there was absolutely no pressure or push to purchase during the process. Cheyenne provided such a personal and positive experience. Very passionate and goes the extra mile. Words from this review do not do justice and only slightly define the experience. Highly recommend visiting Cheyenne and this Spence Langley location to truly feel the experience! Will definitely be back.

I'd give zero stars if I could. Will NEVER buy anything from here because of their terrible radio ads.

A little while ago Spence held a consumer vote to get rid of (the annoying) scream at the end of their ads. The vote unanimously voted to get rid of it.

But rather than listening to their customers, they decided to keep it; which further proves they care less about their clients, but more about profits.

I hope you all join me in boycotting this ugly brand until they care about their consumer base and stop their atrocious radio advertisements.

At first, the service was okay. We talked to the rep about coming up from the USA to see their selection. Cheyanne helped us with settings and suggested a lab created diamond, which we had never heard of. We did some research at home in the USA and decided against it. We found the exact setting and very similar quality earth created diamond for much less at James Allen.
Unfortunately, after we decided the ring we had put on HOLD (we did not confirm it, just a 10% hold) and put a deposit on was not for us, Cheyanne refused to credit back our card unless we came back to Canada to do this in store. We had voiced our concerns when she was asking us to leave a deposit that we did not want to have to come back to the store and she said everything could be handled by phone or email. It took 2 calls to Cheyanne, 2 calls to the manager and 3 emails to the corporate office including sending the refund form by fax and we have still not gotten our refund as of today! We initially called to cancel our deposit over 3 weeks ago, 2 days after the credit card deposit was made. How can you trust someone in sales if they mislead you about something as simple as a credit card refund? I would never recommend doing business with Spence in Langley.

Cheyenne was wonderful, I was not expecting such a great service. She was very friendly and made me feel at ease and comfortable. She helped me find the perfect ring within our budget, without any pressure

My fiancé and I had a wonderful experience shopping with Spence, and are so thankful for Cheyenne's help. She knew exactly what to ask to help me find my dream ring, her service made us both feel so comfortable and heard. She introduced us to lab grown diamonds which we hadn't considered before, but with her help we found one we both loved that looks beautiful in my ring. I don't know much about jewelry, so I was very pleased to have Cheyenne show me items. She was very helpful and informative! Best shopping experience I've had in a jewelry store

I bought my ring in 2015 and had zero issues until I needed it sized down in 2021. Within 8months my ring lost a stone, assuming it would be warrantied by the inspection it must have just had I brought it back. Nope, apparently they only inspect the large Diamond since that’s what is warrantied. When they called to quote the work they mentioned it needs to be reshanked. I was dumbfounded, how could that be possible when just 9months ago they themselves resized it. They literally went down more than one complete size. I was told I must be very hard on my ring and how can they know what I’ve been doing with it. Talk about blaming the customer. For 6 years my ring was fine, but after they resized it I magically became rough on it. I managed to thin it out in 9months. What type of quality is that. I was willing to reclaw my small diamonds, but having just paid them over $70 to remove gold from my ring, they want me to pay to put gold back on? They just kept saying it was my fault.
I have lost faith in their customer service. They do not stand behind the quality of their work. I wouldn’t buy another ring from them.

Oct 15,2022 - We had a wonderful experience with the lovely Taylor. She exceeded our expectations from the moment we entered the store. She was very kind, sweet and extremely helpful in helping us narrow down our final selections without any pressure at all. She was extremely knowledgeable of the product and she assisted us in finding the perfect diamond and rings that fit our overall budget. I would highly recommend Spence and Taylor Stanger.

The first floor person I dealt with was pleasant and professional. When I had picked an engagement ring, I was taken into an office with one of their sales people who was extremely pushy on a deposit for the diamond to start with. Then when I told her the size of ring, she responded with “well is your girlfriend quite hefty”. Who asks that? Does it matter if she is or is not? Completely unprofessional. Will not be recommending to anyone. And the ring was a size 7.

This place would not refund a purchase because it was a day after the return date even though we called about returning it 2 days before. I'll never shop there again!

Bought a wedding band from this store to go along with my wives engagement ring.

The engagement ring was purchased in the US, so for that reason, they would not service the ring with a cleaning/rhodium plate.

This is just poor service so we wont be back.

We highly recommend booking am appointment ahead of time with Carolyn, that way you are able to get the most of your experience with Spence.

She was lovely to work with and was very knowledgeable. If you are anything like me and find it hard to select from a variety of styles, Carolyn made the whole process of decision making easier.

She places a great amount of care with her clients, takes time to get to know you and provides you with a great deal of support, just to help you find the perfect ring.

If you're simply looking for a consultation or ready to that the plunge, I highly recommend reserving a time with her!

I've not shopped at Spence diamonds so I'm leaving 3 star as a neutral review.
The reason for my review today is simply their commercials. They are long, repetitive, and too frequently played on the radio.
The reason I would never actually choose to shop at Spence diamonds is because of their annoying commercials but mostly the frequency at which they are played at.

I switched between 4 radio stations today and they were all playing a Spence commercial at the same time. It is not uncommon to have this happen between 2 or 3 stations either.

This experience was wonderful, made better by the Salesperson Aleena. She walked us through all of the styles we liked, and we learned a lot about diamonds as we selected one for our purchase. Great experience overall.

Start to finish, the experience was incredibly easy and simple. No hassle. No stress to buy something. I really felt so comfortable and like my needs were taken care of. They have a vast collection that is easy to navigate. I really loved my first shopping expensive jewelry shopping experience!

Went above and beyond to provide us with an emergency ring to use for our wedding ceremony when we had to accelerate the event to within a week.

Picking my engagement ring at Spence Diamonds was the best experience. My partner and I were just casually looking for a ring. We were greeted with such kindnesss and enthusiasm, Shannon was the one helping us and she made the whole process very smooth. She never rushed us or made us feel like we had to purchase something it was really refreshing. She was very informative and knowledgable about the different diamonds and the quality Spence upholds. I recently purchased an engagement ring for my bride-to-be. Lesli Pettifer was my consultant - she was simply fantastic! 5+ stars, I couldn’t say enough good about Lesli. She was informative, she guided me based on her comprehensive interview process, she was patient with me (a tentative purchaser), and moreover she was lovely to deal with. Her sincere interest and love for her work shone through, she was nearly as excited as I was. If your making an important purchase of a diamond anything, your well advised to ask for Lesli.

I bought an engagement ring at Spence Diamonds. Nicki Holborn was amazing to work with. She educated us on diamonds and made the process of finding the right ring very smooth. Additionally she was very accommodating as I kept upgrading my purchase to a larger diamond. I would strongly recommend anyone shopping for a diamond ring to visit Spence as I am sure the entire staff are all as fabulous to work with as Nicki was. My fiance and I will be going back to purchase wedding rings in the near future.

My first piece of advice is avoid Kirk and ask for someone else. I went in to purchase 2 wedding bands and had never felt so pressured in my life. I felt like a commission check and clearly not heard. He didn't make a single effort to get to know us and spent more time talking about his plans to propose. I went in and gave a specific budget and never once did he show us options on the budget. He made us believe we had to spend twice as much. Afterwards I learned that we should have been given both diamond ond gold type options. I ended up asking about artisan diamonds because I wanted the conflict free option. I wasn't offered clarity or color options on my ring either. I never even got certification or any information on my diamonds other than what was written in the notes on the invoice.
After leaving the store I immediately regretted the sale. We felt so pressured and tried to leave several times and didn't feel like we could. By the time we got to the car we already regretted purchasing the rings but of course we couldn't cancel without losing our deposit.
When I went to pick up my rings I decided I should speak to someone about how uncomfortable the whole experience was and the outcome of speaking to the store director Nicki Holborn made me believe that this was just the normal practices for Spence Diamonds and she had no interest in helping us find another solution except for the option of returning our rings and putting that money towards more expensive rings, which was counter productive.
All in all other jewlers offer better service and better prices (we found our rings else where for half the price: () Don't waste your time and money.

I didn’t know much about jewelry or diamonds before looking for an engagement ring and checked out several places before going with Spence. Nicki was great helping me through the process and in the end I got a ring both me and my fiancé love for a reasonable price. I was able to propose with a simple band, which Spence later switched out for the permanent band at no charge once my fiancé confirmed that my selection was good to go. Thanks Nicki!

My fiancé and I had an excellent experience at Spence! Lesli was the employee that helped us find both our wedding bands and my engagement ring! We are so pleased, she was open and honest about literally everything and answered all of our questions and then some. We came in to Spence in Langley to look for a ring for my 35th wedding Anniversary. It was a great experience and we were lucky to have Nicki Holborn to assist us. She schooled us in diamond clarity and cut and was a wealth of information. The ring turned out beautifully and we are very happy with our purchase and with Spence. I would highly recommnd them.

Nicki Holborn was our associate in assisting us in picking the perfect engagement ring. She was fantastic. Extremely professional, personable, no pressure sales, and she knows her craft. I don’t know who else works there, but if you arrive in 2020, ask for Nicki and you will be in good hands. She went out of her way in everything that was asked, from asking specific questions about diamond quality, making payment arrangements, customizing our ring, and providing prompt follow ups every step of the way. Managed to do all that without seeming pushy or having a sales agenda.

The diamonds are beautiful and the craftsmanship is far and above anything you might buy in a mall jewelry store. The prices for the quality were far better too. When initially shopping, Nicki told us not to waste our time looking around, but we didn’t listen, and yes, we wasted a few hours looking around at the local malls. Spence diamonds are superior in quality and a better value with what we chose to buy. The mall salespersons were also pushy and generally unknowledgeable about diamonds in general. Spence Diamonds specializes in diamonds and their staff are not run of the mill salespeople; they know their stuff.

Great experience and will definitely be back for the wedding band and any other jewelry needs we may have.

My bf and I started looking at rings and Spence was the first place we looked. I am familiar with diamonds but he was new to this whole process. Nicki Holborn helped us from the very beginning. I had a vision and she saw it being I wanted an Emerald Cut Diamond and they were harder to find. Nicki explained everything in detail, was able to give us a visual and was even able to find me an above carat diamond and sold my bf it that day. Thanks Girl! My SO and myself went to Spence on 07/12 to look at engagement rings. It was our first time looking, and we went in just to start looking at ideas and what she might like. The woman that greeted us and got us started was excellent, and very friendly. She handed us off to Brayden Goodman, who for someone only being at Spence for a few months, was excellent. Brayden was knowledgeable, and very easy to speak to. We got our space to explore and then took us to discuss specifics once the SO picked out a couple rings she liked. He went through the whole pitch with ease, and taught us a lot that we didn't know. He gave us numbers and wasn't pushy at all. When my SO said we weren't ready for a deposit, and that we still wanted to take our time, he was understanding and provided us plenty of info on the stone she had picked out, and had us on our way. If you're not sure what your other half wants, this was an awesome place to start. Kudos to Brayden.

The Langley branch is another great example of why these folks are the best in the business. Customer service is exceptional, and they do whatever needs done to keep the customers satisfied. Knowledgeable and a great product selection. I'm a dedicated customer shopping no where else.

Coming to Spence was always the plan. I have family members that have bought numerous times from here, I've heard great things, but I did not expect the level of exceptional customer service that I recieved Nicki was amazing. From the moment I walked into the store for the first time, to the moment we finalized my dream ring. It was professional, seamless, an undeniably some of the best customer service I experienced. Nikki was so thorough, so informative, and did everything that she could to accommodate our wants and needs. My whole experience was wonderful and such an amazing memory I will have. Not only are the products amazing, but the assistance from Nicki throughout the process is what won us over!
