Spirit Lodge at Silverstar

We had such a wonderful stay in Spirit Lodge! The atmosphere of the house is unique, above our expectations. The spirit of the house and their residents is so relaxing! Yvonne made us feel very welcome. We stayed 2 nights, with every morning a delicious breakfast made by Yvonne. We loved the view, the hot tub, the indigenous art, the pool table, the boardgames and puzzle.
The bed is very good, the sheets are the softest I have ever felt!

This was my wife and I first B&B experience and it was amazing! The room was beautiful, the lodge itself was gorgeous. Views were amazing as well. Loved the hot tub and pool table. Was nice to chat with the hosts Yvonne and Brian and their dog Autumn. Breakfast was amazing with lots of options. This will be out benchmark in judging all other B&B's

Yvonne was a very thoughtful host and the Spirit Lodge is one of the top Bed and Breakfast stays we have ever had. Everything was considered and anticipated.

When we arrived, she gave us a lovely tour of the very gracious, beautiful facilities and amenities. (Shout out to Autumn!) Everything was clean and purposeful with plenty of options for in-site entertainment and recreation-pool table, a closet full of boardgames, television and film (some of which was actually filmed AT Spirit Lodge) and pamphlets and literature about local sights and areas of interest. Wow.

Our room was beautifully appointed and comfortable and the included breakfast of Belgian waffles with whip and strawberries, sausage, homemade granola and yogurt was absolutely delicious.

Spirit Lodge exceeded our expectations. Beautifully log house in an amazing, quite location, luxuriously appointed, and Yvonne and her husband are amazing, very kind hosts! Breakfast was out of this world! I would highly, highly recommend the Lodge, which we could have stayed longer. Maybe next time.

Yvonne was very welcoming. Breakfast was incredible and she even packed a breakfast to go as I was leaving very early on my last day.

I stayed here for a few nights in late March. Could not have asked for a better place to stay. Yvonne was absolutely lovely, the lodge was stunning and spotlessly clean, and breakfast was delicious! Would absolutely recommend and visit again.

Very friendly and nice hosts and the lodge has a super cozy wood design and view on the valley! Loved our stay.

BEST B&B EVER! My wife and I recently had the pleasure of a too short stay at Spirit Lodge at Silver Star. Yvonne was an awesome hostess. She gave us a tour of the property and it’s history. This home is absolutely top notch and Yvonne has tastefully decorated it. Breakfast was great, and she even checked with us ahead of time to ask about food allergies! We will most certainly stay there again when we’re back in the Vernon area. Finally Spirit Lodge has a spectacular view of the valley around Vernon, including Kalamalka Lake.

We booked the Lair room for one night and wished we could have stayed longer. The lodge is beautiful - sitting high on a forested hill offering great views and seclusion.yet a close drive to Vernon. This was my first B&B experience and it was lovely! The family is warm and friendly and they are great hosts - making a fantastic breakfast spread in the morning. I would definitely stay here again.

My girl friend and I stayed at this location for a few nights to go skiing. The Log house was a perfect location in terms of distance to the hill and into town (10 min drive both ways). The husband and wife running the BnB are extremely nice and hospitable. We ate a different breakfast every morning and each meal was extremely filling and delicious.
The rooms are very clean, private and extremely cozy with amazing views.
The views from where the house is situated are stunning. Photos will never do it justice.
They have a pool table, fire place, hot tub, books and games to enjoy.
Even though the house is located off the main road to the ski hill it was still extremely quiet and very convenient to get around.
They have a very nice dog named Autumn.
I would highly recommend staying at this location.

Our stay with Spirit Lodge at Silverstar was excellent. Yvonne is an 5-star host, and the lodge has a luxurious authentic feel. Every morning we were greeted with amazing views of the Okanagan, and served a delicious breakfast. The location provides quick easy access to Vernon and local attractions.

We had an amazing stay at Spirit Lodge. The host Yvonne was wonderful, she gave us a tour on our arrival. Accommodated our every need and prepared the most delicious breakfast. Amenities are beautiful from the hot tub on the deck overlooking Vernon and Kal Lake and also from inside the Log home were amazing. The room was clean and well appointed. Had so much fun playing pool in the great room. Great location to the ski hill and town. Highly recommend this stay and will be back.

The Spirit Lodge.what a lovely experience and beautiful B&B! Stunning location, breathtaking views across the valley and amazing hosts.
Because of the pandemic the hosts took extra preventative measures to make us feel safe & ensuring neither us or her family were put at risk in anyway.

The rooms were light, clean and very comfortable. The breakfast was amazing and enough food to keep us going for the whole day. Yvonne also accommodated to my dietary needs which was unexpected and very much appreciated.

The entire property has a very authentic Canadian, cabin feel. I would love to stay here again. Highly recommend staying here.

Phenomenal space and view. Easy to find and super wonderful hosts. So lucky to have this so close to the ski hill.

The Spirit Lodge is a lovely, peaceful place to stay with welcoming hosts. The stunning log cabin, wonderful views, quick and easy drive to Silverstar resort, pool table, fire places, hot tub, and absolutely delicious and filling breakfasts make me recommend this B&B without hesitation. I will certainly be back.

Yvonne and Brian were great hosts who were friendly and accommodating. Even with our late arrival, Yvonne spent the time to welcome us and show us around. You definitely get that "wow" feeling as the home was grand and the view amazing. The wraparound balcony and outdoor hot tub were major pluses. The room was clean and well equipped. Breakfast was served outside on the balcony and it was awesome! The hosts practiced physical distancing and wore masks where needed. Their restrictions on number of guests in the house made us feel safe. We had a great stay and would highly recommend this B&B experience.

Yvonne was an amazing host! She took the time out of her day to make my party feel welcome and at home, she even gave a birthday present to my friend (which I will leave as a surprise for the reader:). Very thoughtful, she gave us all water bottles for our hikes that we were planning to do. I highly recommend this spot if you have a chance to travel and want to stay in Vernon!

Yvonne was a generous host and so accommodating for our young family. We found her home, which is only a ten minute drive from downtown, a wonderful escape from the city and the perfect home base for exploring the valley. Also a great spot for a glass of wine at the end of the day with a spectacular view.

Her home is immaculate and filled with all the amenities you could ask for: quiet rooms with comfy beds and luxurious linens, generous lounging space, unique art and even a hot tub. And in the morning an amazing breakfast. Highly recommend for memorable and welcoming experience.

From unique artwork consistently and tastefully displayed throughout the home, to the thoughtful addition of a to-go, “Spirit Lodge” water bottle for each guest.

Yvonne was a gracious and welcoming host. We enjoyed a delicious, beautifully presented home-cooked breakfast with a view, a high standard of cleanliness, and great quality bedding. The hot tub’s outdoor location with views of the lake and city lights were a highlight.

We appreciate Yvonne’s presence as she was around when needed, offering helpful suggestions to make our stay more enjoyable. We felt very comfortable using the home’s amenities.

The B&B is beautiful, a very nice house made of logs, well designed and with an amazing view.well the view looks like a picture. And Yvonne was very kindly and made everything to make us feel comfortable. The only bad thing is that we stay only one day. But we want to go back to enjoy the view, infrastructure and all the things that the region provides.

Wow! Firstly, this place is just spectacular and the hospitality was fantastic. The house itself is gorgeous and impressive. The views are spectacular and the hot-tub overlooks the city. The host, Yvonne and her husband were so lovely, they make you feel super at home and comfortable right away, not overly intrusive but completely approachable and helpful. They have really thought about the details of this place and making it such an amazing experience for their guests. Autumn the dog, also big fan! The breakfast was top notch, very hearty and delicious! They offered an entire cabinet filled with games, hot tub cups and towels, endless coffee and hot drinks, and even provided chips, chocolate and reusable water bottles in our room. The bed was so comfortable, the private entrance was perfect and the sheets were probably the softest sheets I have ever felt (Lair Room). I was in town for a conference and brought my husband to have a bit of a mini weekend getaway, and this place did not disappoint. If you love stunning views and scenery, log houses built to the nines, amazing hospitality, hot-tubs, great food, and endless game options, this is the place for you. We will most definitely be back, but next time for longer!

Everything was perfect for our ski trip. From hearty breakfast to apres ski hot tub, we enjoyed the company and the view. So convenient to sovereign lake world class cross-country skiing!

This Bed and Breckfest is very nice. We stayed four days at the beautyfull place and is was like coming home to your family. The rooms are lovely and very clean.

Every morning they served a delicious meal. You can only enjoy your trip there.

This place is amazing, stayed here for a family trip earlier this summer and it was a blast. Great property, beautiful house - like really really beautiful house - and terrific hosts.

I would absolutely go stay again and recommend to anyone who wants some good times in the mountains while being comfortable and well looked after.

My husband and I had the pleasure of staying that this BEAUTIFUL place. The hostess put us in the Eagle’s Nest room and it did not disappoint it had everything, comfortable bedding, wonderful bathroom and even a TV if you want, we didn’t the view was enough for us! Looking forward to coming back very soon to enjoy again and again.

Absolutely relaxing stay at Spirit Lodge at Silverstar! Beautiful, very clean and comfortable ambience. Our room had everything we needed. The toiletries were a nice added bonus too as I forgot my shampoo and body lotion. Had the best sleep ever.exactly what I needed! The views are breathtaking, especially from the hot tub. Welcoming hostess and excellent breakfast! Thank you so much for a memorable vacation! Will DEFINITELY visit again!
