Jessa at the checkout til was very friendly and helpful with my purchase! I left as a very happy customer!

I went in to return a coat that i was gifted because it was not my style and whatever, I walked in and waited in line and I ended up with associate named Taunya I explained to why I was returing in she asked if I had worn it and I said yes I did try it on, She did not reponed much other than seeming to doubt my answer because she had seen a hair on the jacket due to me trying it on and being in my car and she claimed there was a stain on it that I did not see.and the pocket zipper was stuck and she continued to process refund but at the same time I felt very judged and looked at weird made me feel very uncomfortable and I rushed out and did not notice she shorted me $100 on my refund and I had to go back in and deal with manager named Alex he was very welcoming, warm personality and explained what steps he had to take to confirm that I was shorted $100 and he made sure I was taken care of and did end up giving me $100 I was missing and when we walked over the till I was refunded Taunya had a stinky facial expression on while I was standing there waiting for my missing funds. I really appreciate Alex the managers approach to the whole situation. Thank you Alex!

Asked for help, but first person didn't know, so he got someone who did. Got the information and product I needed. Large store in Orchard park mall with outside entrance, with most sport related items and more than one would expect.

Beautiful bright store and very organized with lots of choices but small Nike section for men so didn't find what I wanted for my son. Lots of staff today to help.
There is even a bike and skate repair shop. Outside parking of the orchard Park mall so you don't have to go through the mall.

Terrible service. Trying to get help with some shoe sizes but the employee (Emily) was more interested in chasing commission from multiple customers than actually helping me. I waited for a size to try on for 15 minutes, but instead she decided to help another I'll-mannered customer who rudely interrupted while she was helping me. I decided to leave and went to Footlocker in the same mall. I had a much better experience.

Perfect place to get hoodies/jackets if you're tall! They have good sales on them.

Still in the 5 stars! I've came in a few times now with Kim being my main lady I deal with, and I gotta say, she's a rockstar. Going into a place of retail, employees are always so unhappy to be there, not helpful and really slow with everything. Kim was the entire opposite every time ive got the pleasure to deal with her and its made my shopping experience here really pleasant. Im really happy to see shes in a work environment shes happy in. She deserves it. Thanks again for the efficiency and kindness. You're someone id be proud to have on my team.

I will start by saying I originally reached out to online customer service regarding an exchange because I wasn't looking forward to dealing with the Kelowna sports check staff. The customer service I received today was brutal.
The first cashier I dealt with was unfriendly and she was completely uninterested in assisting me. She even went as far as accusing me for causing the hole in a pair of socks i wanted to exchange. She told me to "go get another pack of socks and come back " I walked 10 feet away to the sock area, and located the same 3 pack and when I returned I was now third in line and had to wait AGAIN!
This time I was assisted by the cashier manager, Gagan Deep who was also uninterested in making my exchange a pleasant one. After he told me that this new pack of socks was also going to have holes, I requested a refund. A refund was provided to me.
I thought about purchasing something else but because of the poor customer service I received, I decided to take my business elsewhere. Neither staff member cared if I was satisfied or if the company they work for made a sale.

I was a regular customer and I left the store very dissatisfied today. All over a $7 pair of socks that could have been easily exchanged.

If you require sporting gear Sport Check ️ is the place to check ️ out! Thanks for all the help when I was shopping there!

Great place with friendly staff. Well laid out. I purchased sunglasses from here. My relatives love getting their exercise clothes from here. They have tills at both doors.

Justin helped me out in the ski & board section. He was awesome help finding the helmet I needed and provided great customer service! Thanks!

Chris was super helpful and knowledgeable in helping me purchase goggles and ski-boots. Would highly recommend, plus they had a really good sale on!

Just wanted to mention to the management team, Jay at the shoe department really helped me choosing the right running shoes. What a genuine person, provided excellent customer service. I hope he gets some commissions with sales.

I hadn't played hockey in 15 years and needed a stick. I was wandering the aisles when an employee came up and asked if I needed a hand. His name was Josh and he went above and beyond for me. He went through all the racks of sticks looking for the best value for money, close to the curve that matched the wood stick I brought. He explained the different flex's etc and what I should go for. I left more informed and extremely happy. Well done Josh!

Great experience with Landon in the Skate department. Very knowledgeable young man who assisted my wife and I selecting a new pair of skates each. Was very patient as we tried on a few types of skates. When we selected a nice pair he had them sharpened up and ready in 10 minutes. Could not be happier

No customer service, my husband went in to look for soccer cleats for our daughter and asked for assistance and the person working there just pointed in the general direction of the shoes. No other staff offered to help find sizes or anything. He left empty handed.

The store is newly renovated, open concept. Staff are friendly and helpful - great selection with in-house services ie: skate sharpening etc.

Really nicely laid out store. Prices clearly marked. Although did not have a lot of sizes in runners. Did not know if they would. Prices were high but not outrageous. Shop there occasionally. Will continue to.

Great place to get shoes and some very nice staff, but they do need more staff in the foot wear section. It is always busy there and the wait can be awhile.

Sandi is wonderful. My husband has special requirements for running shoes as he has Rhumetoid Arthritis. We had been to so many shoe stores before seeing Sandi at Sports Chek. She knew exactly the type of shoe that would be best for him. We very much appreciated her expertise.

Sportcheck was good. The Kelowna location is huge with a large selection. I went in looking for something specific which they didn't have but I found something else that was really good! Sportcheck is the kind of place where you have to know what you're looking for because staff are few and hard to find. All in all a generally positive experience.

Searching for ski helmets for our two children, one of the gentlemen who work in the department overheard our daughter saying she wanted a purple helmet, which didnt exist in the store selection. He snuck into the back and found a perfect helmet that was pretty and purple left over from an old shipment. Meant to be and she is so excited. Thank you!

My experience at this store left me disappointed. The customer service is wanting. The first instance was when I was purchasing helmets I had seen online and were available in the store. I show the sales associate what I wished to purchase, and he says he will check in the back. I wait there for quite some time. The guy never returns. I later see him wandering on the store floor. I get another associate who assists in retrieving the items.

The second instance is when I had to return one helmet to exchange with a larger size. I also needed to get a pair of skates. It took a while to get the right fit, but once I did, I brought my items to the till only to realize I brought the wrong helmet box from home for the exchange. Furthermore, the skates needed sharpening, and the store was closing. So, I had to come back the next day. The lady told me she will put the items on hold for me for a day, and she collected my information. When I went the following evening, the items weren't on hold. Pretty disappointing because I had to go back shopping for them, and no apologies or explanation offered. I wish they told me they don't put items on hold if that is their policy instead of promising something and not doing it. If I ever need something again, I'd rather look at other stores before opting for Sportscheck.

The service is terrible except 2 people. All the rest seemed hung over and they don’t try to help people. Horrible experience

I am taking away two stars from my review because of deceptive advertising. They have a display full of jackets and outerwear. At the top of the display it says 25% off all jackets and outerwear. When we went to pay for the jacket and outerwear that we bought it did not have any discount. When asked why they said it's because it's not a specific brand I went and took a picture and in fine print it had a very small Columbia logo on it which I guess indicates that the discount only applied to Columbia jackets and underwear of which that display had none.

I just don't like deceptive advertising it it's unnecessary.

Zac in the snowboard/ski section went far above any expectations very impressed that that young man

Just went out and got new Hockey gear I was extremely excited with the price lots was new and on sale loved it got a 170$ stick for 70-80$ what a price all thanks to Lincoln he really knows about hockey and helped me get all my sizes right the one issues is the checkout I messed up on that machine and they couldn’t email my receipt to me I wish they would fix it but still very good store!

Mostly fine, though I wish theyd have better quality soccer balls/cleats. Also there's NEVER anyone at the change rooms, I always have to hunt someone down to try anything on

I’d give this company 5 stars but they don’t do tax exemption for status customers. They charge quite a bit for shipping too with online orders.

I neglected to ask her name but there was a Irish lady working and she was awesome. Really friendly, knowledgeable, and made my entire shopping experience fun & easy. Give her like 40 raises

A huge thank you to Dave (in the bike service Dept.) at the Orchard Park Store in Kelowna. There is a very long turn around time for tire repairs every where because of Corvid 19. He fixed my tires in 5 minutes. Thank you so much Dave what a great guy! 1

This place runs tight for a large chain.
Strong management and a good selection of inventory makes the Kelowna location a good choice

Today we went in to order two E Bikes. Probably would have spent just over 4K. Your associate said that they would not order bikes. That's too bad for them as I will gladly take my $$ and spend somewhere that wants to offer service.

On May 13th I purchased a set of 2019 Taylormade M2 Irons from the sportchek website. When the product arrived, there was a single iron in the box with an invoice stating that the box contents were a set of 2017 Taylormade M2 irons. However, these were both the wrong set as well as incomplete. I am not sure how a mistake this large is made but it is very disapointing.

I then called customer service to speak to a representative. The first representative that I had was very accommodating and helpful, gave me a client number and informed me that in this single scenario, I would be able to pick another set of my choosing at cost because the set I had ordered was out of stock. He set up a client claim file number for me and told me to choose a set then call back to get "cost" on a new set.

When i called back, the second representative was very rude and unaccomodating. May I remind you that this is Sportchek's mistake and not mine? He did not follow what the previous representative had outline, nor did the first representative add any notes about the conversation that we had had just 10 minutes before.

It seems as though there is more going on behind the scenes in this company and they're mission is to delude customers and provide an unsattisfacotry customer service experience. I am very disappointed and will not be using this company in the future.

Lost my package weeks ago, won't refund or send replacement until long drawn out claim process with UPS. Called and emailed many times with no immediate help or compensation and they have no one higher up the chain who would help either.

Went in, bought what I wanted. All good except it kept bothering me how rude the cashier that was working there tonight. There were 2 cashiers at that time, the rude one was a younger high school aged girl with bad attitude. I have lived in Kelowna for more than 15 years now and this is my first time that I am frustrated enough to spend my time to write this review. Almost wanted to go back, ask her name and complain.

What a disappointing time service is lacking, staff seem like they rather be somewhere else! Went to another store found what I needed and was gone with 15 minutes

Every time I go here I receive the best service! Have bought several bikes here now just because of how well they look after me. Today I bought a bike from Taylor. He was very friendly, knowledgeable and made sure we got the best deal possible.

Best bike mechanic in town. They're fast, knowledgeable, honest and have parts in stock. They're not trying to RIP you off and sell you junk that you don't need like some other places.

Very friendly, willing to help, clean and organized. Plus the online store is great. Shipping is fast & when Canada Post lost my package, I got a refund with a discount on the reordered item and free shipping! The online customer service was excellent. If I could give 6 stars I would! I’m always going to shop here.

The employee who helped me find the clothes was very kind. However, I was really uncomfortable when I found the clothes I wanted and paid for them from the cashier. They talk to each other, and when I was trying to pay in cash, they just held out their hands and didn't say "Thank you" after the payment. It may be hard and tired to work, but from the standpoint of paying my money and buying the clothes I want, I think I lacked the service I received.

Great service! I had broken my rollerblades to a point where I was doubtful they could even be repaired. When I brought them in, they were able to make-shift a fix which I was very impressed with. They were very courteous, knowledgeable, and didn't mock me when I told them how I stupidly didn't realize that the wheel even came off until after a few rides.

Also, I find their products always have high quality. Love their shoes (Only shoes that fit me without causing pain/blisters) and the recreational sports equipment.

Definitely will always shop here when I need something from there!

I am not sure if the store was understaffed today, but I wanted to try a few things on and there was no one working the change room. I waited about 5 minutes just in case hey were running to the washroom or something, but no one showed up. I had to ask the cashier for someone to let me into the changing room. The lady (who's name I did not catch) who assisted me in the changing room was quite rude. When I got up to cash to pay for my things, my cashier named Sarah was also very rude. She did not smile once, and ended up scanning one of my items twice which I noticed and had to point out to her, yet she did not apologize. She just had an overall bad attitude. The only reason this store is getting a 2/5 stars from me is because my service in the shoe department was good.

Brandy saved the day! My wife’s brand new saucony shoes had their laces eaten by the vacuum and they were a gift so we didn’t know what store they came from. Brandy went above and beyond to get us set up so my wife’s ready for the track Thanks brandy.

Went in just after it opened and had the store and the staff to myself. In and out in 15 minutes with a new pair of Nikes. This store is always pristine and the staff are excellent.

Nice choice of products. Runners to cross trainers to sport shoes. Good selection of clothing. Jackets, shirts, pants. Friendly staff. Has good sales when stuff is in sale
