Sport Chek

Went looking for ski boots for someone else. Kid selling boots kept trying to push boots 4 sizes too small saying "they're supposed to fit tight". Yea bud, they're also supposed to fit in the first place.

Went in looking for a quick release bike wheel thingy. Mitch and Josh at the Service Shop were absolute gems. Helped me out despite me not even knowing what the heck I was looking for, then the sweethearts gave the piece to my son for free. Couldn't have asked for better customer service on a hot and sticky Saturday! Thank you boys!

Good sales, bur the cashiers are quite bad.
They remove the hangers from the t-shirts through the top destroying the elastic.
Even with a shirt….
Maybe they need better training or they don’t like the job.

Do not get your skates sharpened here! They butchered my kids skates so bad they couldn’t play the game. I’d give zero stars if it were an option.

We came in late one evening for skate sharpening while in town for a hockey tournament. Dylan gave us quick service and was very friendly and skilled. We are happy customers!

Never get your skates sharpened by the automatic skate sharpener. Its junk. The main machine was not working. That's what they used instead. Go elsewhere. Your skates will be more dull than what they were when you brought them in.

Came in for some insoles and had the best customer service experience. Everyone was really helpful and friendly. Appreciate the demeanour of everyone there.

Staff are great. Super friendly and helpful. I find the stock they have is often limited and overpriced.

I went in looking for a badminton racquet and shoes, I had Matt help me pick out a pair of Asics that are amazing! He was great with customer service and really guided me on a good pair of shoes that would fit my needs. Someone needs to give that guy a raise

Took my daughter’s skis in on November 28 for a binding remount. They gave me a pick up date of December 3, went in to pick up on the 4th and they had not been touched yet. Told to come back on the 5th and they will be ready. They will refund me the cost. I guess it’s a good thing I wasn’t planning to ski this weekend.

We went in on Black Friday to buy ski equipment and were told they were out of stock but we could order online! We ordered online but received an email days later to tell us they were out of stock as well! We were disappointed and went back to the store and explained our situation that we missed other sales due to thinking we were getting equipment shipped. The staff gave us amazing discounts on other equipment to make up for the shortfall! Good old fashion customer service!

Very unhelpful. Called looking for a product. Right off the bat the answer was no. Now if a person has to travel aways to get to the store, you are going to call first. If you want people to spend hard earned$$$'s at your store, perhaps taking the time to assist would be a good place to start

Went into store to buy a Fitbit Versa 3 this morning but wanted to try one on to see how it fit on my wrist, lady said "no, you have to purchase first", I said really? She said yes. No sorry or any type of customer service at all with her (forgot her name). Walked out and went to the Source at Cherry Lane Mall. Asked the same question there and she said sure:) I had to pay about a dollar more than Sport Chek. Will not be going back to Sport Chek Penticton. I was a regular customer of Sport Chek in Calgary when we lived there and will now make the drive to Kelowna for my Sport Chek needs.
I also had purchased some shoes here back in November and not one person tried to help me then with my purchase of shoes, no one would even look me in the eye, seemed as though they didn't want to help anyone. I did buy the shoes but was able to help myself thankfully.

Trying to get back into boxing they had a great selection of wraps gloves headgear and pads ready and available. Friendly stuff at the counter offered a club card very attentive.

For a city with lakes on 2 sides of it, why isn't there any pfd's or paddle sports items? It's bizzare

Minimal selection at the penticton store. Basic items are hard to find. Best option is to go to Kelowna or order online.
