I was being racially profiled by an Asian lady at the fitting rooms. I had clothing from the store I wanted to try on and I asked to be let in the fitting rooms and she said "I don't care, I'm not letting you in the fitting rooms. "
Had a very unpleasant experience with customer service at this location. My friend got some clothes he wanted to try on and was at the fitting room. Before he even asked for keys to the fitting room or anything an asian lady employee asked "Are you going to buy anything? " He then replied "Yes I have some clothes I want to try on. " She then had the audacity to say "No, I don't care, I'm not letting you into the fitting rooms. " Me and my friend were then followed by the same worker the whole time we were there.
I had the displeasure of dealing with Vernon the store manager. Incredibly rude and was joking around with employees instead of coming to help when customers needed it. I have no idea how this company allowed such an incompetent person to be a manager.
My husband was looking for a non slip shoes. We’re both thinking we could get one in sports chek, I thought they are selling all kinds of shoes, but they didn’t that’s why I give 4 star. The sales lady who help us was friendly and didn’t waste our time looking for what we need, she even suggest Mark’s and Shoe Company. Sports stuff go to sports chek, it is located in Guildford under ground.
Only one person helping with grabbing shoe sizes, the guy was helpful but he had too many people to help at the same time. Had to wait 15 min to grab my size. Management should look into this. People are paying so much money they need more people working.
Worst Customer service at this Guilford Mall, very rude and not willing to help at all I guess they don’t care about customers even if they are willing to spend a lot
HAD a Rough Day very frustrating at 2 stores of sports chek. VERY POOR BAD CUSTOMER SERVICE, ALL THE STAFF WORKING IN SPORTS CHEK DOSENT HAVE PROPER INFORMATION ABOUT THE THINGS IN THE STORE AND GIVE WRONG INCOMPLETE ANSWERS TO THE QUESTIONS ASKED. Such POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE and GAVE US WRONG INFORMATION ABOUT THE SHOE, WHICH WAS NOT AVAILABLE IN 2 STORES WE WENT TO TODAY 3 HOURS OF FUSTRATION
I went into this store last week, I bought 2 shoes and found out there were some damages on it. The next day I returned it refunded me on my credit card apparently it did not went through and the bank confirmed it to me as well. Such an inconvenience for me and the lady at the cashier seems doesn't want to help at all. I dont know what will happen to my money now. I need to went to the store multiple times which is waste of time. Could someone help me to fix this issues?
I bought a raptors hoodie and my friend bought a juventus jersey and they were both very clean and shiny kind of there also wasn't a lot of variety and content was on the low side.
Made an online order for store pickup. Was told it would be ready in 2 hours. After 5 days of not hearing anything, they cancelled my order. Customer service is quite poor.
Biggest waste of time. Do not go to this TINY Sport Chek. They had boxes of winter seasonals for ONE month, which occupied a good chunk of the floor space. Couldn't by any winter ski gear the multiple times I went. This place is a joke.
I had the absolute pleasure of dealing with Tianna, Avneet and Laura. One of the best experiences I have had. I will definitely be coming back to deal with these wonderful girls again.
Probably okay if you're not looking for anything specific. Racks are really jumbled / packed too tightly, a lot of stuff looks shopworn, probably from falling off the hangers and on the floor. Staff was mostly clustered at the cash station; customers left to fend for themselves outside the shoe department and equipment service counter. Places like this are why online sales keep increasing and malls empty out.
Fantastic customer service at this location! I had great interactions with Habib, Germaine, and Brent when making my purchases for my kids a couple days ago. I ended up buying amazing Christmas presents that were definitely worth it because of your sales. Sport Chek is very lucky to have such great employees and great customer service.
Hi, I was in the store today with a compromised bike lock I had purchased there some months back. The lock was not abused but failed in staying locked. Kary, in bike servicing tried his best to make the mechanism work but to no avail. We proceeded to find a similar bike lock with success and they gladly replaced the malfunctioning lock with a new one. Great customer service, if I had a business I would attempt to steal this guy away. Well done Guildford Sportchek!
Bought a brand new bike and waited couple of days for bike to be tuned. Tire broke after less than 30 minutes of riding. Tried to get it fixed but apparently no one can fix it until next month. It’s been a frustrating experience all around. Would not recommend getting a bike here.
I'm glad they suggested placing an online order for a jacket my size since only extra large was in stock. However, the item arrived with a security tag attached. It's probably not the fault of this specific store though.

I was not impressed with my service at check out, I grabbed a sweater off the clearance rack & it blatantly had the yellow sticker on it saying it was $47.97. It rang through as $90, I corrected where I got it from & they valued the discount but the reaction I got from one of the employees behind the register, was unacceptable. She whispered in her coworkers ear how it wasn’t marked (they also didn’t check the tag either) but gave such attitude & my friend heard he say to give us the discount because we will argue. I generally like sport check, but I won’t be coming back soon after the attitude I got today. Check on your workers sport check, they need an attitude adjustment. You’re in customer service, don’t like your job? Then leave.
What a deary dreadful shopping experience, an absolute farcry from the Chilliwack Sport Chek. The two fellows at the sneaker section obviously couldn't care less. The first gave me the wrong colour and size and disappeared into thin air immediately. I flagged a second associate down informing me that the colour I wanted was actually out of size I needed. That's cool, why bother giving me a different colour and size completely then? After another pair was brought out, he too disappeared into thin air. The cashiers looked like the soul was sucked out of them, most likely the effect of poor management or bad shifts. I will do my best to avoid this Sport Chek.
An all around terrible experience. Had to stand around for 15 minutes after approaching an employee for help, because the staff wasn’t well versed on a product. During this 15 min I was told nothing about whether or not someone was coming, and I ended up walking out. Understaffed and poorly trained.
EVERY TIME I visit this store for shoes, not once am I approached by a sales person and asked whether I need help. And to try and find and associate to help you. Don't bother. They all apparently take break at the same time.
Wow, this is a dirty store. I got here right at open, there’s clothes on the floor, garbage, hangers all over the place. Was looking for a Man City jersey for my son - the quality was pretty bad, but that’s probably more Nike’s problem.
