I had a great experience in this sport chek store. Friendly staff member named Ridhima helped me choose the right pair of trousers for my daily workout routine. I was guided well regarding different products to choose the best one. Someone give the staff member a raise.

Went looking to buy a hoodie for my husband's birthday. I was not greeted when I came in, and was not asked if I needed any assistance the entire time I was there. It was 7: 30 pm on Sept. 28/23 and the store was pretty quiet and there were at least 6 employees. I couldn't find what I was looking for and was just wandering around for at least 35 minutes. Terrible customer service and disorganized store.

I took my skates for sharpening at this store and this was a terrible mistake. Worst sharpening I’ve ever experienced. Skates were so badly sharpened I had to get out of the ice to not hurt myself. I don't know if it is lack of training or simply lack of will but something has to change.

Had bought a golf club set from them a year ago. Unfortunately I broke my driver 2 weeks ago. I took it to the shop and spoke to Sarb who filled out all the warranty info and was very pleasant to deal with. Kim (hope I remembered her name correctly) called me today to say my replacement club arrived. Kim was great, very caring and friendly. I was really impressed with their level of service and how nice everyone was. Thank you!

Ultimately, they didn't have stock of what I was looking for, but the place is well organised and the staff are helpful.

I purchased a new bike in August, and since then, we struggle to find out why the disc brakes keeps having high pitch squeeling noises. Brought the bike into services a couple of times and even had to purchase my own high end brake pads, and yet the service people there cannot seem to fix this problem. I think I will have to bring the bike to the specialized bike shops and pay them to solve this problem.

I havr been twice in the Marine Drive store. My experience in simple words: the staff seems not care about the customer. They seem very bothered when you ask something and I could not see any motivation in that staff.
Weird atmosphere.

I was put on hold for 30+mins while the hardware department associate checked an item for me. Still don't know if the item is in stock cause I'm still on hold.

Customer service is rude and grumpy as hell, if you don’t like what you do, just find another place that you will love doing and don’t put a bad representation on the brand

I was able to return a pair of running shoes I purchased 5 months ago because something broke on one of the runners. No questions asked and I received store credit for the same value.

Decent store, lots of options for footwear, clothing, and athletic gear. The gentleman helping me find new shoes was very polite and efficient. The store was fairly empty which made for a nice shopping atmosphere.

They put a 40% off sign right above the compression pants that I wanted to buy. I talked to the cashier about it, they don't care.you buy or you can leave it is the answer I got. Waste of my drive.probably my last time buying from here.

Don’t go anywhere near this SportChek for anything ski service related. It took me 30 minutes to pick up skis. You have to sign various waivers to pick up your skis from a simple waxing. You have to wait in both the ski service lineup and then once you have your skis you have to wait in the checkout line for them to “verify” that they’re your skis even though you brought in a matching slip to the one on your skis. It also took at least 20 minutes to drop them off while the guy filled every detail of his waivers and forms out. Stick to a real ski shop where you can drop off and pick up with ease and they will likely do a better job anyways for the same price. What an infuriating process. I will never be back.

The management is really unprofessional and inefficient. I called in for curb side pickup, they put me on a 15 min long hold (on call). I eventually had to park and go in to again wait any 30-45 min in an empty store on a weekday at 10 a.m.

This a huge store with all the variety of Sportchek available. Even if the item is not on display, it'll certainly be in the storage. So if the item is on the website, you can be sure this store will have it. The employees are super helpful and understanding and give you the required advice. Definitely visit for your sports and winter requirements.

This location has an excellent team in the bike repair department. I brought 2 bikes in to the repair shop today thinking that it would be a few days to have them fixed but Matthew did a wonderful job fixing both bikes in a timely manner so I could ride this weekend! Very happy with this team's knowledge of bikes and excellent customer service.

There's a small bike service shop inside and it's my go-to for any bicycle maintenance. The employees there are all friendly and helpful (especially the older guys). Highly recommend.

I've never seen so many employees in a store that have little to no interest in asking shoppers if they can help them. There may have been 10 customers in the whole store and probably 15 staff. I almost walked out while waiting for shoes. I would have bought more items but I spent most the time waiting around. Won't be going back anytime soon.

This store has good deals and great service!
Free convenient parking. The store is clean and quiet. Follows guidelines on Covid-19 cleaning and distancing. They have sanitizing gel at the entrance. I always get deals on my footwear at Sport Chek!

My experience shopping online with Sportchek was below average.

I wanted to purchase an item online, because of an online-only promo-code and do in-store pickup to avoid time delay + shipping cost. The website reported that the item is available in this location but as soon as I added the item to the shopping cart, the website refused by suggesting that the item, albeit reported IN the inventory, is unavailable in this store.

I called the store and the customer service rep did confirm they have it in-store.

The experience has been baffling: they wanted customer to buy online (by giving out online-only promo-code) but they refused the customer to pick it up in-store, which is supposedly to reduce the cost on both sides.

As much as I want to help local (big name) businesses, Amazon ran their e-store far better. I've decided to wait and buy from Amazon instead.

Kudos for the in-store sales-rep, the person tried hard to help me get the item but the person also failed in the face of online-store.

Went into the store and all the employees were super helpful, especially the cashier, super attractive (blonde, greenish eyes) was very helpful and knows how to handle a convo but other then that best location with best staff

Friendly service, usual reasonable sale prices, and they have some bikes in stock in this mess of a world we're in!

Richard at the service desk did a great job tuning up my bike. He was fast, friendly and helpful.

I walked in today to return my unused ski boots I bought online, because I didn’t like the colour. The Irish/ German guy inspected them and happily gave me a refund:) I decided to check out some of their ski gear while I was there, the bald Asian guy was very helpful. I decided to check out their shoes and the shorter Asian/ Filipino guy was also very friendly and helpful. I asked the big middle eastern/ indian guy with the tats where I could find the woman’s coats for my mom and he politely and respectfully answered my questions in an exemplary and professional manner all while maintaining eye contact. He deserves a promotion. Overall excellent customer service, I’ll definitely shop at this location again. They all represented their company very well and I’m glad no one followed me around the store to treat me like a thief; that’s the reason I don’t shop at the Hudson’s bay anymore. Because they are scumbags. GG

Shop is usually quiet and sometimes I didn’t receive any service. However, most of the times the service is good.

Had a very pleasant experience here at this location was shopping for a few clothes and a young man I believe by the name of Karn helped me find the clothes I was looking for very energetic. Great customer service overall will sure be coming back.

Small location with decent selection, came in to buy a pair of runners. Young lady who helped me was very friendly and knowledgeable. She made sure I went home with the most comfortable shoes. Great customer service, would definitely come back!

Decent selection. If online says it's in stock, its there. Has a huge selection during the massive clearance event! Smaller than many other locations but not to be overlooked

Plenty of good bargains from time to time. Gentleman in ladies shoe department very knowledgeable and helpful. Good selection and competitive prices. Definately worth a visit.

Bought shoes at this location a couple days ago and the gentleman at the shoes department (I think his name was Mark) was very nice and helpful. He greeted me right as I got to the wall with all the shoes and helped me right away. I've been looking for shoes that fit my extra wide feet for the longest time and he recommended me two adidas shoes that fit like a glove. He was quiet busy helping other customers but was doing well accommodating to everyone. He even came back to check up on me after he was done helping the other customers. Great customer service and very knowledgable young man. I will definitely be back to buy more shoes from this location and I will also recommend this spot to some of my friends.

The manager at this location Sarb is so good. He has helped us twice now and has been so nice and extremely knowledgeable. Great customer service. This location also has tons of stuff in stock. Really like this store

Had 2 great experiences at this location. Once coming in to buy and the second for an exchange. The team here is great. While I was being helped for my purchase the girl at the fitting rooms asked how I was doing and even helped me grab another pair of clothing while I waited. All the little things count. The customer service desk was very quick. The staff know what needs to be done and are very kind.

I phoned 4 different locations to find the product I wanted (hand wraps- my wife just started going to the gym). This one was the only one carrying it. I ask if they can put it on hold for me as I am working and I can't go there right away. I would go there by 8.they say no problem. At night it starts to snow, this is a present for my wife, I want to get it so I drive 25 mins under the snow to get there. I ask my item on hold. They scramble for some time before telling me the item is not there. The cashier girl says they don't hold items by policy. I ask why they did not tell me over the phone. I would have made other arrangements instead of driving under the snow for nothing. They offered me a 10% discount on the item of another color. Not nearly the same idea of what I imagined as present for my wife but ok, better than nothing. Just to discover the item in that color costs about double the price of the original item I wanted.
Not a good experience and a gift idea ruined.
The staff was apologetic indeed - but not empathic, but it does not make up for the problem caused.

Went to buy 2 pairs of shoes was told they had them in stock but it would be too hard to find them so they could ship instead? Talked to assistant manager who was much more helpful but after 20 minutes she said they were not in stock. I went to another store! They need to get their act together.

Theres no customer service here anymore. We tried a pair of shoes and the kid gets the shoes then walks away. It wasn't even busy in there.
