I bought my first ski here today. I didn’t know much about it, so I needed help. The employee named Gavin was very very nice to me. He helped me a lot, and was really supportive. I appreciate his help.

The young gentleman with beard in red shirt was really helpful. Unfortunately, I forgot to ask his name for this review. I appreciate the time he took to find the suitable shoes which I was exactly looking for and ended up buying.

Took them over 30 minutes of me being on hold to check if they had an item in stock. I rarely see 1 person there and called early during a weekday.

The worst store for customer service. From the Manager to online customer support and the district manager. I am not sure what kind of drugs they are on. They have no idea about customer service or being professional or just about anything. First, one of their agent name Amber stated emailing me on behalf of CCM and said she is sorry for the delayed response she can help me. Never asked me where I bought the hockey stick from. Asking same question without reading a full email I was sending her told me to go return at sports check at lougheed sports check.
The manager there was worst she wasted my time when I already picked the stick made the adustments she said oh I am sorry we cannot help you since you bought the stick from other store. And offer me discount. The stick was $79.99 she said after discount it will be $80.50. Are you kidding me?
I bet even the manager of the store didn’t even bother to ask, where I bought it from and this Brainless person. Amber who is claiming to be emailing me on behalf of CCM has no clue.
I am not sure who is hiring these unqualified unprofessional people. They need to look at their HR Department.
Since the people they are hiring is waisting other people’s time. Hassling and confusing them.
I have nothing nice to say about the whole confused sports check department.

I tried to call this location and the phone is busy for over an hour. I asked for the estimate for time frame of ski service. The clerk does not want to give me a time and just said it depends. After repeated asking. The clerk said it is a week. I have called the other locations and the clerk gives me a better more informed estimate.

Terrible experience! Employees have literally zero knowledge about the existence of products in their own shop. I spoke to atleast 3-4 of them asking where is the particular product and no one has any idea about it and I had to leave without being helped. Especially the guy who was at the service centre with red t shirt was super arrogant and just told me you can find it somewhere at the front.

It took 15 min to 3 cashiers to figure out why the credit card on customer dosnt work with their banking machine system. The line up building up was a joke.

I use the pickup order and I cannot find it inside the store. I need to use lots of time to find where is the pickup order point. But those helper are helpful

Terrible store management. I ordered a 4-pack tennis ball on line for pick-up. I went to the store to pick up and was told then my order has been cancelled. Because they have mistakenly opened the 4-pack and sell them individual. Now they cannot sell the 4-pack. What kind of system is that? I would never buy anything from Sport Chek, I want to know how to refund my gift cards that I brought from them.

This water bottle was just delivered to me today. It is covered in scratches on the right side of the bottle from top to bottom. It was packaged inside a large, white garbage bag inside an oversized box. There is no way the damaged would not have been notice by the person packing it.

Took my bike here back in June. I was a bit worried at first about bringing it here instead of a LBS. Dave was fantastic. He walked me through everything he was doing, gave me calls for updates on any major developments that required further decisions and went above and beyond to make a dying shifter work for me. 10/10 Would recommend! Everything works super smooth! If you drop off your bike with one of the younger guys, call back and speak to Dave about the timeline as the younger guys don't really know. Also, if you need parts replaced, it's best to source your own as there's a real shortage.

This is a sport check like all the other sport check franchises there is nothing special about it

Always find the staff at this location to be far more willing to go the extra mile compared to other locations.

Horrible customer service. Highly NOT recommend to shop in there.

I bought a knee pads for my work, asked staff for help, but after 15 minutes of waiting just picket a guess size I need, cause no one come for help. Item was on sale and cashier told me that it’s a final sale (who knows what does it mean?). At home I realized that I picked a wrong size. I back to store after 4 days with an unused item in original box and receipt. Spoke to manager who was rude and not polite, who dismissed me exchange of item or credit or money back and made me upset. I left item at the counter and that only thing she accepted. - is it counts as normal in our world? I never going to come back to any of sport checks. Item price was cheap and cost nothing to provide a legal exchange.but the way I was treated is a problem and unacceptable.

Thus store is essentially the clearance bin. They never have much for kids clothes and finding an employee is impossible.

I would buy from the store if I could get anyone to help me. I have given the store 3 opportunities and not once has any associate come to talk to me or ask if I need help. Disappointing.

Always a great place for verity of sports things, from shoes, equipment, clothing.very friendly helpful service. Recommend this location

Good selection on shoes at good prices but it seemed like no one wanted to help us here they just wanted to talk amongst each other.

Even the manager had a hard time understanding that a sealed item can't be infected if the seal is not broken.

Can't believe the stupidity of some people

Terrible customer service. I called them and they put me on a 15 minute hold, then hung up, then I called them again and they did the same thing.

Excellent service at Lougheed Sportschek! First time buying runners here and they will have me as a loyal customer. Ordered a pair of Saucony runners online at 11pm and received an email before 9am the next day indicating they were ready to be picked up. Went to the store, busy with back to school shoppers, checked in with one of many employees working the floor. By the time I walked to the rear of the store, another employee handed me my package upon showing him the email. I was in and out of there in under 5 mins. Great service, guys! Thank you

Didnt take off the Security Tag off my Purchase because she was too busy talking and laughing with her Co-worker!

The bicycle repair shop is excellent. Dave is wonderful and always accommodating. He truly knows his stuff. Took care of my son's bike problem quick and easy. Expert advice, top notch service.

The store is ok. Not a whole lot of selection. The staff is hit and miss. Sometimes you can find someone whom is really helpful and other days they have people that have zero customer service.

Great place to buy all sport equipments you need. I purchased shoes from here - A plenty of options but there were no shoes with air povkets! I don't know why!
Sportchek does'nt participate in the mall employees discount as well.

Service in the shoe department was above and beyond. However there was limited choice on shoes.

I went in for a specific item. Awesome service. Searched back of store for exactly what I wanted. Even gave me a discount. Bonus!

Great place to buy any sports related item. Staff's are friendly and the store has lots of selections.

If you want to pay top dollar for name brand stuff.this is your place. Always a sale on inflated prices.

Good stuff when deals are around. Friendly staff. Limited options but ask for something from another store and they will get it for you, pick up from this place.

Has everything you need and is less busy than a lot of other locations (metrotown for example) but i would say it is a bit undermanned here.

Every time I go there I always find everything I need sports related goods selection of batter baseball gloves.
