I’m in the Veterinary Assistant program at Sprott Shaw and I love it so much. My teacher Lilliana has made the entire experience so fun and exciting for me. I love going to each class. She’s super understanding and will take it slow if there are certain topics I don’t understand. Lilliana is the best instructor/teacher I’ve ever had in my schooling experience. 10000% join the program, you’ll enjoy learning about all the topics! I can’t wait to graduate and begin my job as a Veterinary Assistant! Sprott Shaw made the whole process easy for me.

I am a student at Sprott Shaw College and I am studying the ECE program, my instructor is Jessica and she is a very supportive teacher. She explains the information in class in great detail. Burke, is a very friendly advisor who guided me during the admissions process. Monica is an amazing director, she helped and explained what I needed to do, when I was struggling with my assignments in discussions. Amy is a very kind administrative assistant and she always greets “Good morning” everyday and is very hardworking. I am looking forward to the rest of my courses and I am enjoying my time at the college.

I’m currently studying ece basic in this college. Monica, is my main mentor in this college, she cares about our mental problems, she work hard to meet the ece requirement/ policy and she wants to prepare us well for practicum. Harpreet also helps me a lot in my academic even I’m not in her class and she don’t have to do this but she help me nicely and patiently anyway, she helps me to find a preschool for observation when I’m struggling to find one (I call around 20 school and I was frustrated) Amy in the front desk also help me a lot, she prepare out textbook, print our homework so we save the time to go to staple. Overall, I’m happy and feel helped in this school.

I'm finishing up the VA program in a few weeks and wanted to say how amazing my experience at the college has been. All staff that I've interacted with have been so kind, friendly, and helpful, and have given me all the support I need and more. Classes were engaging and interesting and I've learned so much, all thanks to my instructor Sherry. I resented the idea of returning to school due to previous negative experiences with teachers, but I honestly don't know if I can say a single bad thing here. Every morning I look forward to coming to class. Sherry goes above and beyond to make class interesting and make sure that each and every one of her students has the space to grow, learn, and ask questions. She genuinely cares about her students' educations and does everything she can to support them and prepare them for working in the field. I'm endlessly grateful to have been placed in her class.

I just wanted to let you all know that I´m very fortunate to have Sherry as my instructor at Sprott Shaw College. She is an awesome teacher, which is well represented by the level of education and teaching she has to show. I really like her learning methods. It's great how she caters to each and every one of us, creating an environment where everyone feels comfortable and understood. She brings her personal experience into all the topics wonderfully. I also think that her lessons are very well structured and thought out. In addition, she always tries to explain everything in an understandable and practical way.
For me personally, I think it couldn´t get any better when it comes to her teaching methods! I hope you are going to do this job a very long time, so that future students will have the chance to meet you!:) Take care!

As an international student, I am so glad to be taught by teacher Sher, the instructor of Veterinary Assistant program. I had struggled with English barrier and could I find a job here that I really enjoy it. After six months, I almost finished my program, and I am pretty sure everything teacher Sher has taught us is really helpful, and she is always be there for helping us. Thank you My teacher Ms. Sherry Moyes!

However, Sprott Shaw College is not recommended, not professional at all.please make sure you have a great instructor in your program.otherwise, there are more colleges you can choose.

I am Sarabjeet and I enrolled as an ECE student last year at the Richmond campus, and l’m currently a practicum student. I had a wonderful experience here and couldn’t be happier with all the support and guidance I received throughout my time here. Burke was an amazing resource and answered all my questions, as well as guided me through every step of the admission process. Rachel and Lisa are great teachers and have taught me so many useful things I will take with me as a future ECE. Yang and Harman are always there to help with any office-related work. Monica, the college director has been a huge support system and whenever there were any issues, she was first to solve it. She ensures that students are the top priority. Lastly, Rubina and Harpreet, my practicum instructors are absolutely wonderful and go out of their way to help us. Rubina shares her own personal experiences to help guide our learning. Overall, I had an amazing journey, and I highly recommend this campus.

I am a new student attending Sprott Shaw and taking the Veterinary Assistant (VA) program. My previous career spanned 30 years and the decision to change directions took a lot of thought, and key to the change was choosing a school to attend. To make my decision, I literally interviewed the various schools offering the VA program, and for every one of my questions Sprott Shaw gave me the best responses. I was impressed with the openness to provide information, the follow ups to my inquiries, the options of campuses, start dates, payment plans, the list is long. Once I started in the course, I knew I had chosen the correct school. All the staff I have interacted with have treated me as an individual, making sure they understand my needs and questions; and I know their goal is for me to be successful. I cannot say enough positive things about the Instructor, Sherry, through all my post-secondary schooling, she stands in a class of her own. Her commitment to not just my own, but all of her student's success is to be commended.

I was very luck to have Inna! I did my IT and Special Needs courses with Inna, she is very supportive and fun! She is a very experienced IT and SN instructor.

I started my ECE diploma program in Richmond campus since November 2021, and I have almost completed my fourth courses in this program. Great thanks to Monica, Harpreet, Lisa and other campus staff, who are always supportive and helpful throughout my study. Under their guidance, I become more confident of being a ECE teacher in the near future.

From the first steps into the the school I felt welcomed the staff and the instructors were inviting made me feel like i was in the right field, I can not wait to become an educator:)

For those who wants to take IT and Special Needs in Sprottshaw, I strongly recommend Inna as your instructor. She is such an amazing person, she is the best teacher I've ever met. She had worked with children for over 17 years, and that allows her to tell us a lot of practical skills and knowledge on working with children. She has a strong sense of humor, which makes her class full of laugh and fun. And I love the free discussion in her class. I never felt boring in her class.

I can't believe I'm finished with all of my classes, from basic to special needs. I've been on an amazing journey in my life, and I've learned a lot from my incredible instructors, Inna and Harpreet! I strongly recommend beginning your journey at the Richmond campus, You will enjoy it!
and to students taking the Basic course, I can't say more than two words: TAKE IT! My IT and special needs instructor, Inna, she’s an excellent teacher who absolutely goes the extra mile for her students.she shares knowledge and all her experiences to lead us to succeed in this field.in class, we never stop laughing and never stop learning. I'm glad I got out of my comfort zone and took the initiative to learn more from them:)

I went into this course not knowing a lot and came out knowing so much! Sherry Moyes was my instructor and she was amazing and was straight to the point in teaching what we needed to know and was outstanding in getting grades back. I Have recommended this course to a friend and she is in the process of joining as well!

Coming into the VA program at Sprott Shaw - Richmond Campus as a mature student was frightening. It has been 20 years since I attended school. Sherry Moyes is my instructor and I am FOREVER thankful because of it. She is very knowledgeable in the field, an excellent teacher, fair and ensured the scope of learning was necessary to become an Awesome VA. She will forever be my biggest mentor and I am truly thankful she was able to teach me. We were put into Field days during the program which puts us into a clinic setting, allowing all her teachings to be put into practice. I will miss her deeply. She has taken a student who struggles with learning (myself) and made this program enjoyable, rewarding and I was offered a job Before I graduated thanks to her classes. I am feeling confident and comfortable stepping into the field now with a great perspective and knowledge from what she has taught me. I Truly wish there more teachers like you everywhere! You Care, you make it easy, you make it easy to not only learn, but to RETAIN the information we will need forever. Thank you so much Sherry Moyes!

I've never been a big fan of school growing up. But attending Sprott Shaw with Sherry Moyes as my instructor has been the best experience I've ever had. She makes things interesting in class and tries her best to involve everyone. Even when our program is remote through webex she tries her best to get us out there and get hands on experience through field days. Not to mention Sherry is the most understanding and patient instructor I've had. I was going through a rough patch during my school year and Sherry was very understanding and tried her best to work with me to get me in class and finish up my courses. I would definitely recommend to anyone who is interested in the VA program to study under Sherry.

I was a bit skeptical and very afraid of what I could do in my age and competing with the young generation. I have realized that even my computer skills were not that good for the online study.
So my first days were really stressful because it was something completely different from my 20 years retail experience.
However I was overwhelmed with our wonderful and kind instructor Sherry Moyes. All stress and anxiety was far gone after a few days and I have really enjoyed every single class and day
Her attitude, patience and her personal experience in dealing with many Animal Hospitals helped as well.

Sprott Shaw College's VA Program at the Richmond Campus was incredibly educational and jam packed full of Veterinary Assisting knowledge geared towards the career. My instructor Sherry was passionate about the subject and taught us lots, and well. Overall a very comprehensive program that I would recommend.

I finished ECE basic, I will never recommend anyone to study here. The instructors are not professional, I am very frustrated to waste my time and money here! I can't believe the comments underneath are praise Harpreet, someone need to tell the truth!

I finished ECEA and my instructor was Harpreet. This is the worst school I ever learned in. The instructor is very lazy, and doesn’t teach anything. She treat the students with no respect, and she doesn’t gives marks seriously. And unfair to the students. It is a very horrible school with very horrible instructor.

I went and did the Veterinary Assisting diploma through Sprott Shaw and it was an amazing experience! Within 6 months I am ready to work in the field with a great deal of knowledge thanks to the instructors. I feel so much more confidence leaving the program then I did starting it - I highly recommend it for anyone looking to try out a new chapter in life <3 I will most definitely choose Sprott Shaw for my next academic life adventure.

Sprott Shaw College made my life totally different from before. Right now, I am taking Infant Toddler Program. My instructor Inna, she is very experienced and helpful, I learned a lot from her. She shared a lot of experiences and gave me a lot of advices to help us succeed. I learn more about Infant Toddler as we go through the courses. Strongly recommended to take the IT program here, after IT program I will take the Special need program too. I enjoyed studied here, and can’t wait to finish my programs and go on the field.

I recently finished the Veterinary Assisting program and I will say I absolutely loved the course. It was jam packed with information and my teacher Sherry was the absolute best teacher I've ever had!

I studied ECE basic program in richmond campus, my instructor is Harpreet. She is a very nice teacher, friendly and supportive. She also shared her experiences in this field which is very helpful. We had an interesting class with her!

I have been learning my ECE course since on Sep, 2019 and can't believe that my course is only 2 weeks away. Basic was with Ms. Jessica who was sweet, kind, always approchable to ask to help more, and IT & CWE with Ms. Inna who is intelligent, has charisma, and silly as well, having with her planning IEP was always challenging moments for most of our classmates but absolutely worth expereince for sure.:) Also Ms. Harpreet is alway there to help us to complete our practicum as good enough as it has planned and Monica the director is smiled at us with her educational passion and always cheer us up. I could've not done this without all staffs' support in Sprott Shaw College. Many thanks to all of them.

Thanks for everyone in the SprotShaw Richmond Campus. I really like our learning environment with the classmates and Instructor. Our instructor Harpreet is experienced and knowledgeable. I learned a lot of professional knowledge from her. I hope you can start your career with them.

I just finished my early childhood diploma program here at sprott shaw richmond campus, my instructor Inna, Harpreet and Suman are very knowledgeable and always sharing their experiences from the past to prepare us into the field. Staffs here are also very nice and helpful and the director of the campus is very friendly and always here to addresses our concerns.

Sprott Shaw is not only a college, but also a place that brings people together for the same goal. I have met my two besties and lots of inspiring educators and people in the campus. They also take student's opinions into considerations and make the campus a better place for everyone.

Sprott shaw is a really good college expecially Richmond campus. I had Early childhood Infant& toddler and special needs, and I learned a lot from professional instructor. I am so proud of my campus that they're having such a great teachers.

I’m studying ECE here at sprottshaw richmond campus where has been giving me the knowledge and skills required of Early child educator. Instructors teach based on their real life experience which helps me greatly when I‘m working at the child care centre. I was also impressed Instructors and all the other staffs are always there for students and they hear what we need and support us.

I am happy I made right decision to join this campus. Instructors are so supportive and always welcome to help us!
