My experience at this college was extremely poor. I would never recommend this college to any student.

I just graduated from ECE. I am an international student. My experience with sprott shaw is really good. ECE department of this college is so much organised. I liked their curriculmn. Instructors are very hard working. My ECE instructor (Ofelia Rosca) is very dedicated and hardworking lady. I always seen her putting her hard efforts for a student success. She is very supportive. Even if I need to ask something related to assignment or anything. She even replies on weekends. She is very passionate to teach and when she comes on practicum visits, She takes her time to explain everything and gives you meaningful feedback. She is very professional. My experience with sprottshaw is very good but Special credit goes to Ms. Ofelia. Thank you very much to whole team of ECE at sprottshaw.

Great experience…. All the instructions are really nice specially klara Albert very knowledgeable and very nice teacher… finished my education assistant diploma in june and got job in june… thanks to everyone at surrey campus

Many members of the staff here are very helpful and genuinely care about the students. They go out of their way, above and beyond to help students with their needs. The advisors take particular care and time to help you with any of your application needs and other paperwork. The administration staff help you with any questions you have about enrolling and your program or accessing your documents, the directors and department heads are kind and listen to your concerns, and the instructors are kind and take the time to answer your questions. Overall, the staff at this campus are outstanding.

I'm enrolled in a course in ECE, and one of the top instructors is Candiss Brown. Every day I ask her a million questions, and she always answers them with a smile and calm demeanour.

I really appreciate that the teachers not only know the theory but have real-world experince, and are still keeping pace with the working world. I also like how they are able to do on-campus learning and virtual classes.

Worst school ever to go. Once you pay the fees after that no one listen to you. I finished my diploma almost two months ago now they are not giving my transcript. No one reply back to emails. I wasted my time and money. Very unprofessional, they say they’ll get back to you but never do.

Would not recommend this school/ campus. At the beginning your first point of contact will be the course advisors, they will be cheery and helpful, they will return all your calls, emails and voice mails promptly. Second point of contact will be the financial team, they will do the same and be very helpful and cheery. You can send 10 emails and or leave 10 voice messages and the advisors and or financial team will reply promptly, until such time the funding has been received in full, then its GHOST CITY! Now to be completely honest and transparent not all staff at this campus are like this, there a few staff that are sincerely there because of their passion for what they do (Mrs. Anna and Mrs Offelia). It's just sad that my current experience with Britni Hanna the campus Director has been terrible. My last correspondence with her was February 22,2023 (over 1 month ago). Since then at which time there was zero conflict, she has decided to ignore me and not reply back to any of my emails. I'm curious in what world of business/ school is this considered proper etiquette? Admittedly my health has caused some delays in completing my course but lets be real, these things can not be avoided and I had doctors notes for all of them when requested. I am a well known and well respected student of this campus by all who have crossed my path both at school and during my practicums. All I want is to finish my last practicum, work my hours required, apply for my paid for course/ certificate and then start my life earning a honest living. I do NOT understand why this is an issue, I am not happy and frankly I feel abandoned and lost as what to do now? I hope somebody reads this and is willing to HELP ME PLEASE!

I finished my schooling 1 month ago and have been contacting the school for my diploma via email, phone and going to the school with no response at all just sending me in circles to talk to different people who say the same thing. Very unprofessional, they say they’ll get back to you but never do. But the teachers and students are nice.

I had a good experience here, but I don't recommend this school to international students, especially those who are not gonna get a job in Canada. Class material and assignments were boring and easy enough to do without a lecture. I don't think it's worth paying such high tuition. Teachers were generally great and professional, but a part of the staff. They didn't reply to my emails nor react to my greeting at the school. If you just wanna learn or get experience at college, you should think about another option.

Im a currently in a CDA program and my instructors are helping me succeed with my subjects. They provide every sources that I need to achieve my goals. The program is difficult but eventually overcome every subjects due to my instructors’ help and support.

As a student of Early Childhood Education at surrey campus i am really thankful for being an amazing campus throughout my studies and i have come across amazing teachers but my favorite is ANNA CRISTINA NAND she has been always there by my side, supported me in taking best decisions. She is been a role model for being so patient and kind.
I will always cheris her throughout my life.

Sprottshaw College is such a welcoming environment, the staff is knowledgeable on what they are teaching and doing, the Dental Clinic is spotless and not to mention my fellow peers are helpful and considerate, overall a great experience so far.

Taking the CDA program. My advisor was Ashley from the New West office she is amazing. The instructors of this program are amazing and want the best for you. Also they go above and beyond in the success of your education. This is a new program at college which is at the Surrey location and it has been setup amazingly. Highly recommend this program / school. They really have your best interest at heart and want you to succeed. I have gave four stars just because there is always room to grow and improve.

Sprott Shaw is the closest college to my house and found out to be the best decision made ever!

My several friends graduated already as LPN and ECE. They highly recommended to me. There is great location and transportation. When I had some processing problem, Justin very helped to me. My instructor Candiss is super kindness except test time. Also, very thank my classmates. If you want to learn, don't hesitate.

This campus has such a welcoming friendly atmosphere. I could not of asked for a better instructor than Ana she makes learning fun. I would recommend this campus to everyone.

Nothing short of an amazing experience I am having here so far at the Sprott Shaw Surrey campus! I love my classmates, instructor, and what I’m learning!

This is my first year in post secondary and I’m taking the dental assistant program on surrey campus at Sprott Shaw and the teachers here are really kind. They make you feel welcomed and they’re super helpful. My transition from secondary to post secondary was super smooth.

The building looks great. The reception desk is very friendly and helpful. The hand sanitizers are convenient. Administrative staff is friendly and eager to help. But the best experience here is actually lectures! Instructors are super friendly and helpful. Their lectures are easy to understand and very realistic and actually useful in real life

Sprott Shaw College was very helpful and guiding in my career in marketing and branding and ultimately gave me the guidance and knowledge to grow my marketing business. Thank you especially to my admission advisor Justin Matai for helping me get here. Next stop is BCIT Business Admin Degree. Thank you to everyone at Sprott Shaw.

From the start this school has caused so many issues. Staff don't email back. Each instructors tell you something different and you never have a straight answer. The list goes on. They couldn't even print my diploma in the right name. Even after giving them documents showing the correct name.

This school is a money grab school. Not worth the stress. Go to VCC or some other school which is better known for the program

One teacher focused on self-management to be more proud and believe in myself and they helped me a lot of the programs in answering the questions.

It's a nice college in surrey with great options of courses. Specifically the courses with the option for pathway to City university.

My advisor is here, i am on the island.it doesn't make sense to do this.but he is rude, unorganized and is poor communicating with myself as a student, and staff here on the island.asking for repeated forms, which i saw in office here with my own eyes, then confirms he has other forms and when i prove ive sent them in he says "my bad"! No manners, no apologies, its been over a month and hes still asking for something i sent in at least FOUR times.not to mention my own office.ill leave a review for them too. (i did not choose this school, it was chosen by my program)

It seems like it's just one thing after another here.
This school is so money hungry they would rather jam pack their classes above capacity just to fill their pockets, with little to no care for their students. We have had teachers lie and go against ethics and just drama after drama after drama. It is truly ridiculous, after chasing me and others around for money, we were late recieving our text books for a course by 1 week, AND our instructor got terminated in the middle of a course with little to no details to us about what was going on.
After paying $17000 students deserve respect and to be treated professionally. The teachers all say they don't get paid enough for this etc. After reading all the reviews and knowing what I know now, I would not recommend this school at all.
I just started in October 2018 and compleated my course in October 2019.
Change My Mind.

I was a ECE student in 2018 and now I am doing my ECE post basic 2019. Sprott shaw Surrey Campus is the best campas for. ECE. Both teachers are realy nice, kind and very helpfull. Staff also very nice. I really enjoy my ECE and post basic with this two teachers. (Victoria and Inna) They gave us big knowledge about the ECE feald.

Today I got the chance to see what our diploma looks like. After practically being self taught for an entire year, being treated like a child in elementary school and seeing the lack of respect towards the students and some of the decent teachers, I would advise others to pick a different campus or school. After all of your 18-20 $thousand dollars in fees, the diploma is the last slap in the face. Shame on you Sprott Shaw for devaluing our education! It literally is printed from the schools local printer, it sits on a plain white piece of paper with a small golden sticker you can easily peal off. I would be embarrassed to hang that on my wall. Not only does this school have hundreds of awful reviews, but nothing has been done to rectify it. I read years and months of real, true complaints that we still expirence to this day. We have ever changing staff issues, our teachers change halfway through our education. Not just once, but multiple times. Every new teacher brings there own rules and teaching style, this makes us students stressed out and our grades to fluctuate as we are constantly forced to adapt to an unstable institution. The facility is out of date, the computers never work, and have often shut down DURING a final exam, the printer is only aloud in black in white and the ones we have access to don’t work and do not connect to any of the computers. Our student lounge consists of hard bar stools and a small mini fridge! How many students do you have? I cannot even bring a lunch if I wanted to, and have no where sensible to relax on our breaks. This place teaches the MINIMUM and barley that. Now let’s go onto the staff that is required to do practicums? Please do us a favour and ask all the past students what a disappointment that is. You pretty much have to do the work to get it yourself. And honestly no one ends up with what they were after. This process should be started at least 3 months in advance, this would avoid it being rushed and counted as not valuable. We are loosing out and it’s sad and disappointing. Not that it’s her fault, Sprott Shaw should have more than one individual to properly take care of the needs of the students. You take our money, and it honestly feels like it’s stolen from us. Now I have heard some pretty great things about other campuses, but how does a company (that’s what we will call this) just ignore all of these severe problems? Honestly I’d rather make a formal complaint to the better business bureau, better yet maybe go to global news about how they are taking advantage of our immigrants, single moms of the working class, the under privileged? Shame on you for allowing us to believe that you actually care about our outcome and our success. Nothing feels successful at this school, not even our diploma. This is 2019, and no educational institution has the right to run this way. So please heed my advice! Go to a place that you will be valued and guided into real success

I took my ece program here at the Surrey campus, and it was a great experience. My teacher Victoria Hunt was amazing, very knowledgeable, and always available to help. I would recommend this program to others interested in the field.
