It is unfortunate in today's day and age that you need to recognize a company for doing their job. That aside, I would like to recognize Squamish GFL for a prompt and professional response to replacing my garbage tote after it was ruined by a bear. I phoned yesterday and the new tote was picked up and replaced today. Colour me impressed and appreciative. Thank you GFL for doing a great job!

Rented Bins from GFL, spent time and money separating Garbage, recyclables and wood. Still get charged with mixed dumping. Not worth it. Rent a trailer and dump yourself. GFL is a scam!

Says online they are open until 5: 45 when they for sure are not! She said she had shut everything down along time before that.

Only one scale so long lineups are typical (those entering and leaving the landfill must que on in both directions to use the single scale). Some recycling can be dropped off without going through the scale (ie.soft plastics, although signage to explain this is lacking). Other recycling that is free to drop off (cardboard) is behind the scale, so you must wait in the lineup to get in and out in order to drop off cardboard.
Only positive note is the people working around the bins do their best to be helpful.
