Squamish Taxi

I was left on the side of sea to sky highway due to the malfunctioning of my bicycle. I was able to order a cab from Squamish taxi and they were able to pick me up in 30 mins in Furry creek. The driver was genuine and caring, I’m thankful for their services

Shows up to the campsite and tells us that the trunk doesnt open and doesnt have any trunk space for storage. And then tells me its my fault for not telling the cab company me and my girlfriend had a backpacks. What did they expect from pickup from a campsite. Then blasts music the whole time. Well were crammed in the car packing it like a tetris cube with our backpacks sleeping bags.

Was here for weekend and our group needed about ~20 rides. Company was outstanding. Very reliable and friendly drivers.

Scheduled a cab for my pregnant partner. She arrived 5 minutes after desired time. We spoke to the driver and informed him of the delay. He said ok no problem. It turns out he just left, and the next available cab is in 25 minutes. Terrible service.

Edit - the owners response is not indicative of the situation. They stated the cab left because his shift ended. Again, we informed the driver of the delay and he stated it was no problem, but then left immediately afterwards. A bit of truthfulness would go a lot further.

This was the worst taxi service in British Colombia. The driver was VERY rude and disrespectful and made me and my friend uncomfortable and feel unsafe. He was upset we made him wait 2 minutes and when we got into the car he started getting aggressive and raising his voice, he even told us no talking in the taxi or he would not drive us. Me and my friend were talking to each other quietly but he did not care and refused to drive us. We calmly told him this is not how to treat people who he drives and that respect goes both ways. He kicked us out and told us we were harassing him although he was the only one being hostile. We even apologized for making him wait 2 minutes but he was still being very stubborn and rude.if you get the driver that drives taxi #2 then watch out, he is rude to women especially. We were concerned for our safety and got out of the taxi and filed a complaint. Really hope they improve the treatment their drivers have towards customers. Defiantly will not be taking again. Request for Ivan or Tim if you want a friendly patient driver.

You can dm the number of squamish taxi. Im giving an average because 80% of the drivers are nice. I only experienced one driver that smells awful with smoke and swears a lot. I forgot the plate number but you will know him if your inside the cab.

Dispatcher told me it would be 20 minutes for a taxi, waited 30 and got a call saying the taxi is 10 minutes after.waited another 20 minutes for it to show up

Absolutely awesome service! We haven't been in Squamish since approximately the late 1980's until the 1990's. I forgot to ask if today's owners are still the same? A fellow named BJ was one of their drivers back then and he was amazing! Always went the extra mile. I remember when we were up there years ago and we had an awful storm and everything shut down. BJ actually drove through that ice storm and brought my aunt and uncle a beautiful pork or chicken stew that was amazing along with fresh roti's! I'll never forget that dinner, it was the best Indian food I'd ever had! If you are the same owners, is there any way you could email me the recipe? I'm pretty sure it didn't have curry in it as when my aunt called the owner to thank him, he said he cooked it himself.

Prompt service. Clean, comfortable taxis. Courteous drivers. Helpful, friendly dispatchers. This has been my experience, even during snowy, icy conditions at a busy time of day. I highly recommend Squamish Taxi!

I highly recommend this cab company. I've used it on multiple occasions and I've never been disappointed. Clean cabs, friendly service from dispatch & the drivers, always reliable. In the unusual event that they can't get a cab to me within five minutes or so, they will give me an estimated wait time, and they're almost always within that time (once it was 10 minutes later, the driver apologized when I got in and explained the circumstances). Three thumbs up!

Typical taxi service upon calling, maybe one step up from normal… everything is one word answers etc. There was a lot of unploughed snow that evening which isn’t typical for Squamish, so we had to walk out of the small complex we were in to the road to get picked up. Not a big deal, and the ride was uneventful. The driver was courteous. In short, I only take taxis when Ubers are unavailable, and the “meh” communication and service is the main reason.

I only call Squamish taxi! The dispatcher is friendly and is accurate with his wait times; and the drivers are always kind and patient!

Time estimate was 20-25 minutes, waited 35 minutes, received a call that it would be an additional 10 minutes. Driver finally arrived and did not drive us. Waited another 5 minutes for an additional taxi and for a different drive to swap out. Once finally going, our driver was yelling on a personal phone call, While we were trying to have a conversation in the back. She was speeding and breaking hard. Driving close to 80kms in 50 zones down paradise valley in the pitch black with no high beams on. We became extremely
Concerned when she approached a sharp turn and did not slow down until we told her there was a turn coming. (Thank goodness we were familiar with the area and knew where we were headed.) The car was unsafe and extremely loud. Would love to chat more about this, to make this right I would only accept a full refund. Do not take this taxi.

I call this company every day to get to work. Their customer service is extremely professional, wait times almost always accurate. Drivers are all very friendly and personable. I highly recommend this service to anybody trying to get around the Squamish area.

I only use this service whenever I am in Squamish. Dispatch & drivers all are professional, friendly and efficient, they arrive at the time when they say they will. Overall a thumbs up.

They left 4mind after getting to pick up location on a Thursday. Were extremely rude when I called back after they left. Worst customer service I have ever experienced.

We were told 15 minutes and we have been waiting for an hour.we called twice and they said the first time 5 and they just said it again.we still aren’t where we needed to be a hour ago.

This town has awesome people, truck got stuck here, and our driver stayed voluntarily and spent hours to help, eventually fixed my truck's battery.
Makes me consider moving here.

My brother had the car so i booked a taxi to go home after getting off from work. I know the route very well and the driver took the longer route JUST FOR THE SAKE OF MAKING MORE MONEY.
Driver needs to be less selfish.

I took the bus to Squamish from Vancouver and then called a taxi to take me home - it’s only a 5 minute drive but I had a major surgery last week and didn’t know if I could walk it. I was told they were quite busy and would be a 10 minute wait.it was cold out so I went inside to get a tea. The driver called me as I’m paying for my tea (barely 4 mins after placing the call) and I asked him politely if he could wait just one minute. But he said they’re “too busy” and he “needs to go”. I thought it was quite rude and unprofessional that he couldn’t wait just one minute for me.

Dispatch is friendly and efficient, they always arrive when they say they will, they help me with Groceries and are always friendly and very knowledgeable about the area. I only use this service.

Our car was down for a while but Squamish Taxi had my back. They were there every time we called and on time. All the staff is friendly, polite and nice clean cars to ride in. We have and still do recomend this company to get you where your going. Thanks guys! Rob & Colleen

Theyre always quick and efficient. Every driver is amazing, friendly and theyre all very safe when driving. Since day one I've used squamish taxi and I don't have one thing to complaine about. The wait is never long and they're always super friendly! BEST CAB COMPANY IN SQUAMISH!

I use Squamish taxi regularly to get home after my night shifts. Even though it is only a short, one minute, ride I have found them to be reliable and prompt and always ready to provide service ; the dispatcher is very friendly. I took a ride to get to the airport a while ago, my ride arrived on time, and the driver was very professional.

Absolutely awful. I called a taxi to get to my bus stop that was going to take me to the airport. The cab was 30 minutes late and they never bothered to call me to inform me the cab driver had a flat tire. I missed my bus, and then my flight. They offered no help. Do not use this company.

Called for a cab when i got off the bus. Waited an hour and a half and no cab came. Phone wasn't working so i couldn't call back. Had to hitch a ride from the highway. After an email to customer service, I'm told the cab had waited at the bus stop for 20 minutes and now they’re apparently charging me the $75 (that i barely even have because im out of work) for the cab.

Worst taxi service I’ve ever experienced and I’ll never use this company again.
