Squamish Toyota

Well I have been asked to elaborate on the situation as I’m not in the “system”. Well, to keep it short and sweet I would have been in the system had you not have sold the vehicle that was coming off a truck for me but had an opportunity to sell it for more to someone else.

Very unfortunate! But hey if anyone wants a Toyota I highly suggest you check out West Coast Toyota. They are honest and I have had great service from them after I purchased my brand new Tacoma.

Our experience at Squamish Toyota in purchasing a 2023 Rav 4 Prime was seamless. I can't say enough good things about our salesman, Rob Mantini. Our emails and texts were always returned quickly. Rob was very clear about the wait time invovled in getting the vehicle we wanted. His quote was exactly what we paid for our new Rav 4 Prime. His knowledge of the vehicle's technology was outstanding and he took his time explaining the many incredible features to us. We hope to have a long relationship with Squamish Toyota and would not hesitate to recommend the dealership and Rob Mantini to others looking for their dream vehicle. Thank you Rob!

I purchased a new 2023 Toyota Tacoma from Ken Stephenson and had a great experience. Ken was referred to me by a friend and the second we spoke he knew exactly what I wanted and the vehicle that fit. There was a bit of a wait for the vehicle but Ken and Ricky (business office) kept me updated every step of the way, I was never left guessing. When it came to the pick up, they prepped me with everything I needed to bring.
I drove away knowing the vehicle inside and out.
I could not recommend Ken and Ricky enough.
I’ll definitely be back in a few years to pick up another Tacoma!

Well worth the drive up the scenic sea-to-sky hwy to purchase your vehicle from the friendly & knowledgeable staff at Squamish Toyota. Definitely beats shopping at an Auto Group dealership too.

I recommend anyone looking for a Toyota to reach out to Richard Loomer at Squamish Toyota. Have been dealing with him for years and will happily make the drive there from Vancouver. Richard is a true "car guy" and a genuinely very nice person. Him and the team will make sure you find what you need.

I'm not gonna lie - it's a long drive from our home in New Westminster to Squamish.   But I'm glad we did it.   The people at Squamish Toyota are amazing.   Our lease buyout was complicated by ICBC's system upgrade and they went well out of their way to make everything as painless as possible for us - including follow-up calls to ensure the insurance had completed successfully.   I heartily recommend both the brand, Toyota, and this particular dealership.   I give a special tip of the hat to Ricky, Nicky, David, and Ken for all their help and attention that sunny afternoon.

Relationships are important, in any sized community but particularly in smaller ones. The team at Squamish Toyota always has time for me and goes out of their way to ensure i walk away happy, informed, and excited about my vehicle. Their person-to-person service is unmatched, and the vehicles are amazing. Full recommend.

Dishonest and/or Incompetent Business.
I was sold a vehicle in disrepair. When I questioned Squamish Toyota on the matter, I was not compensated, instead I was met with dismissive, cavalier, and rude responses.

Here is an account of what occured. Images attached are of email correspondence and mechanics reports.

I purchased a 2017 Honda Fit from Squamish Toyota a few weeks ago. I was assured multiple times the vehicle had been inspected and was in good working order.

From my initial test drive, everything seemed great. Any existing vehicle noise I chalked up to being unfamiliar with the new vehicle. I purchased the vehicle.

Soon after I noticed a light vibration/ knocking from the front passenger side wheel, informing the sales rep within 24 hours of purchase when he called to check in on me.

I had it inspected by two mechanics in Victoria, the first being Parkside Motors and the second being Campus Honda.

Both immediately noticed the bearing noise, and stated any competent or honest mechanic would rectify the situation prior to selling the car.

Had the vehicle not been under warranty still, I would have had to cover the cost. Wheel bearings issues are almost never seen in a car this new, and can lead to serious damage/complications if left unchecked.

Mistakes happen, but evidence suggests this was deliberately overlooked or the business lacks due care.
I would take your business elsewhere if I were you.

I would not recommend this dealership. I paid 2.5 times the price for an inspection thinking a Toyota dealership would be more useful, than the mechanics down the street.

The moment I walked up to the vehicle the first thing I noticed was the rust. It is clearly evident on a black Toyota. The frame and underneath of the Toyota is covered in rust. Yet, the inspection report provided by the dealership indicates there was no issue. How is that possible?

If I cannot trust their mechanics to inspect something visually, how can I trust them to inspect anything mechanically? I expected a Toyota dealership to be held to a higher standard. I was making a $29K decision based on their negligent inspection. I would not be surprised if someone just checked off the sheet, and never looked at the car. Do not waste your time and money here.

Update: The Service Manager had the audacity to tell me in the comment below when booking a vehicle inspection, to request the mechanic to inspect the car for rust. The Toyota Inspection I received has two clear boxes dedicated for their mechanics to note rust, but despite paying 2.5 times the price of a standard inspection I need to tell a Toyota mechanic to fill our their Inspection Report thoroughly?

After getting fantastically ripped off at Greg Gardner GM, (the sleazy Ethan Gardner) Squamish Toyota was able to help me, they gave me a great price and were friendly.

Thank you guys for your help and I know where I’ll be taking my business from now on!

I cannot thank Squamish Toyota enough for the steller service I recieved! I went in with a vehicle that I was dreading to drive (not a Toyota) and left with one I love! The entire team was so friendly and helpful. Ken Stepenson helped me look at vehicles I could afford and made sure that I was confident in my decision. They really made me feel like part of the Toyota family. Thank you all so much!

I have been so pleased with the service at Squamish Toyota since the purchase of my new Tacoma last August!

I had the back window of my truck replaced by another shop that unfortunately installed a faulty part. After bringing it to Squamish Toyota to have looked at, they were able to provide a quick diagnostic and had the part in stock and ready to replace within the same week.

Anne at the service desk was very helpful and kept me informed on my trucks status.

After having the part replaced, two weeks later, Rob, the service manager phoned me to check in and ensure that the repair had worked which I thought was a fantastic way to show that Squamish Toyota cares about their customers and the quality of their work.

I would highly recommend Squamish Toyota due to their great customer service and care for their clients, as well as high quality of service and repair work.

Bought a used car here and they were fantastic. Had a 3rd party mechanic look at it, and it came back flawless. Hard working honest people. Rob is great, and happy to recommend them.

Sadly they couldn't solve the issue I had with a tonneau cover, but the service and communication will see me be a long time customer

Just bought a 2019 Tacoma from Squamish Toyota. Dave Webster was my sales agent. I couldn't be happier with the entire experience. From start to finish everyone involved was a pleasure to deal with. I'd give them more stars if it was an option. 10/10 will do business with them again.

Service department is around the back of show room. People are friendly & the waiting area is comfortable. Also has a shuttle service which is convenient.

Was just up there this morning for 8000km service and a scratch repair. Robert T.at the service desk was an absolute joy to deal with. Courteous, clear and concise! I guess this is one of the reasons we purchased our car from Squamish and not somewhere closer in North Vancouver. Cheers!

This is for their service department. My service tech flat out lied to me when I took my hybrid into get inspected after I purchased it. They told me false information and mislead me trying to get me to believe the brakes and rotors to my vehicle we’re something that only a trained “hybrid” specialized mechanic could work on. I wouldn’t recommend them to anyone. They also lied about a clunking noise in my steering column. Go to a service department who wants to make sure you’re getting the right job for the right price. Went to get a second opinion and was told the truth.

Amazing experience, we bought a used Rav4 sight unseen because of it's strong dealer service record and the reviews we have seen about this dealership. David our salesperson was honest and upfront about the condition. When we finally saw it in person it looked amazing, serviced, clean and ready to go. The business office was friendly, informative, got us a great rate and we never felt pressured. Unfortunately there was a couple off issues with it after we drove it home. The next day we contacted David and he immediately put us in touch with Michael, the Pre-Owned Sales Manager. Michael was extremely helpful, took care of all of our concerns, drove us a loaner on his own time and picked up our Rav to perform the repairs. They 100% stand behind their products. I wish I could give them more than 5 stars. The service here is incredible.

Squamish Toyota is an amazing car branch, from it’s location, facility up to it’s people and also the Golden Retriever who’s so friendly. I bought my 1st car (2017 RAV4) in this store and I was surprised how fast Fleming and Jeff accommodated me and in just a snap of a finger I got the key.

One thing I admire most in this branch is it’s service department, everyone is so nice and accommodative specially Richard. He explain every thing clearly on what service they did to your car as well as the billing. And every time I asked him about other products like additives he always gives me a sound suggestion. I never made a review even I visited this store several times because I want to see if they are consistent in their service and YES they are.

All of these makes me love to visit Squamish Toyota.
