St. Eugene Golf Resort & Casino

This resort has a serious cockroach problem. While having breakfast we had numerous roaches on our table and the wall we were sitting beside. Our room had dead ones on the window sill as well. The breakfast omelette was ok however the hashbrown potatoes were so over deep fried they were not edible. We had no hand soap or shampoo in our room and there was no room service available to clean our room as they did not have the staff available while we stayed there. This they did not make us aware of during our booking. It is a beautiful building and grounds but by no means at this time is it a 4 star hotel. Very disappointed as this resort was highly recommended to us.

Wonderfully converted building (with a sad history), with an added wing for more rooms. Also has a casino and golf as you can guess from the name. Hotel rooms are vast, this is a great place to stay at.

Grand complexe. Si le restaurant est bien accueil sympathique et personnel chaleureux nous avons eu malheureusement des voisins de table très bruyants. En revanche le repas du soir a la brasserie était très quelconque une salade César minimal salade brûlée! Pour le petit-déjeuner c était correct

Beautiful area, but the room was dirty, yellow spots in the bedsheets and hair all in the bathtub. For the price still decent though.

Beautiful natural but remote location near local Airport. Popular Golf Coarse and Casino attatched. Heated Pool and Hot Tubs. Numa Restaurant kitchen closes 1 hour prior to posted hours. Breakfast food served cold two days in row. Friendly helpfull staff.

A hidden jem. Beautiful grounds. Nice quiet rooms.
The casino is good size. There are several places to eat and drink on the property. The pool and hot tub are very nice.

We did not stay here. However, we did have a meal in the casino area. It was prime rib and it was very tough, The two tables near us were also saying the same thing. Kind of disappointing considering the cost. Also, one of the parties had fries and the gravy was not the same gravy that you would use normally, it was very watery.

I stayed for about a week in the hotel for business. The room was clean and ok but dated. I was very impressed with the TV in the room for how old it was and still working. The WiFi worked pretty good. One disappointing fact is there use to be a gift shop that was quite good with local made items, but I guess was closed during lock down. The only gift shop is the Golf Pro Shop which is good for golf related stuff. The Casino is not really a Casino but a Slot House. The table games they had were all closed due to staffing issues and have no idea if they will every open again. So if your planning to play some Blackjack, slots are the only option. The food in the casino was pretty good. The only thing that is puzzling is for drinks you can not order a double? Not sure if they don't want the extra money or to manage the drunks, still puzzled on that one. The pool area I did get a chance to use but looks good and the golf course looks amazing, next time I'll bring my clubs. If St. Eugene update there rooms and get some Casino Dealers, I will give more stars.

Besides the pool not being opened, it is a beautiful, quiet, friendly resort with amazing delicious food.

Very pleased with the stay at this resort. Good food. Nice staff. Clean. Birds singing in the morning. Stunning nature! View is absolutely worth while for anyone wanting to see the beautiful mountains.

Went down to have a casino in the rockies adventure. Great hikes in the area. The service was all very good. Lots of history in the hotel so it was nice to see it was converted into something very positive. All the restaurants were very good and surprisingly well priced for gourmet food. We had a great time at the casino too. Would recommend!

Honestly nice hotel but the steam room smelt like mold and the fridge sounded like it was dieing. Also if your a pot smoker don't go here got told you can't smoke on the property and then when I checked out they smelt pot in my room and I didn't smoke in there just had my bag in the room and were acting like they were going to keep my deposit. The first night I had actually told the desk clerk I was going to smoke a joint and he didn't say you couldn't but the next day was approached by security and got told not to do it again

They didn't have my room even though I reserved a king. They ended up giving me a queen. Then the front desk clerk gave me a room the furthest away from the entry door even though I explained I had a lot of baggage to bring in. I don't believe she had been trained to listen to their clients. Not a very good experience. No warning about the amount of hassle you go through to get to your room. At the very least the room is clean. This is not a hotel for business people on the road. Lesson learned.

This place is unbelievably the room are clean. The staff does everthing to make your stay perfect.

What an experience. This is the place to be in the summer. Golf Casino food and pool. You don't need to go anywhere else

Golfed the course and loved it. They allow dogs Friday and Saturday afternoons, so our foursome brought 2 dogs. They enjoyed it and we're a lot of fun. The course was in great shape.

We had an excellent time at St Eugene last week, staying in the Chief Isadore Suite. The accommodation, golf course, casino, pro shop, restaurants, pathways, and washrooms all were immaculate. The staff were friendly and helpful everywhere.
The highlight of the vacation turned out to be the Master Bartender in the Casino by the name of Alan Valdez. His talents and work ethic are recognizable right away. He could pursue a function at a high end 5 star restaurant since he can supply a pleasurable dining and drinking experience to the most particular of customers. Some of the drinks are completely unique to St Eugene with different combinations of rums, fruit juices, sodas, limes, and a collection of "other stuff", very tasty. We enjoyed Alan so much I will call ahead next time making sure he is on shift before we book, it was that much fun! Thanks Alan.:)
The menus throughout the complex are simple with few choices, but high quality and fresh, no complaints.

I love this Beautiful place, the golf ️ course is quite a sight to see. If you love golfing ️‍️ then this is where you have to be.

I believe most people live aiming after a long day and this place has one of the best places for swimming should you need to relax. And just so you know, this place is only for guests staying in the hotel and not visitors so if you’re looking forward to swim, it’s not allowed.

Stayed at KOA Park. Nice sites. Great bathrooms. Staff was very friendly. Casino was fun, but still no live gaming. Golf coarse is in a beautiful setting.

Was able to book online with points the night before. We showed up 4 hrs early and they had a room ready for us. We were going to golf if we couldn’t get into our room early but ended up relaxing in the nice warm heated pool and hot tub. Ladies at desk were very pleasant. Went to the casino and won a little and lost a little. Had fun. Ate at the casino restaurant and it was nothing fancy but very tasty. We stayed in the Lodge but understand that the mission part is nicer but more expensive. Our King room was very spacious, clean and a very comfortable bed with nice linens.

Only stayed one night passing through, but I was very impressed by this resort. For the price point it has top end resort accommodations. Room was clean, and very quite. Would love to explore more, and stay in the mission building next time. Would definitely recommend!

Holy moly is this place the epitome of beautiful! We stayed for one night as we drive across Canada and I'm so glad we stopped. Friendly service, wonderful rooms with all the little details checked off that make this resort stand out. And to top it off, the location is absolutely stunning! There was a wedding being hosted there but they had it on the other side so even if the crowd was loud we were unable to hear them. 5 Stars all across the board and I would definitely return.
